Candle Lights by saintheiser 2021-10-05T01:42:57Z

I was stuck in the "Pass the river" level (I gonna try again later). The light system is wonderful and the sprites are very stylish. The power to pull boxes made me a little frustrated because I couldn't rotate my character. But I believe this is on purpose and I just haven't been able to get through yet. I really liked it, another one of Ludum dare 49 games for my coffee break.

Shaky Ground by ryusui 2021-10-05T01:00:00Z

Poor Minty, she was dying 21 time before I can get from the second level. After some time I was able to play without the time stop. Great game and art, congratulations!

Tall Order by Timothy 2021-10-05T01:11:58Z

That was the game what I have more fun until now. I love the mechanic to move the tray and delivery the foods. Great work!

Taxes & Actors by gamescodedogs 2021-10-08T12:30:01Z

Hey, the link still doesn't work.

Snmuloc by tayl1r 2021-10-07T09:57:58Z

YOU DESTROYED MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD GAME! I AM IN LOVE WITH COLUMNS, I JUST CAN'T NOT DO THE MAATCHS! Haha, kidding around, what an amazing idea man! Simply brilliant, and everything worked out very well, congratulations, this is a concept to be explored.

Mystic Push by TheSomeoneXD 2021-10-05T02:05:46Z

I'm suspicious of talking about games like this, I was never very good at them. The art and music are impeccable, and I'm sure many will talk about it. About the theme, I had the impression that it was used more in the story than in the gameplay.

For those who like puzzles, it's a full plate! Congratulations to the team!

Fickle Fortune by Tobias Maushammer 2021-10-05T18:38:14Z

Amazing desgin and wonderfull idea, and the graphics are terrific! Im my computer the screen become a little to dark, and the character is too fast to me, controlling the bag to not let everthing fall is a quite hard(but I think that's the idea.) I gonna try it later gain. Great work guys!

OUR ANCIENT TRADITION by FranVadillo 2021-10-06T09:36:12Z

I love when I can understand a game without a tutorial, at the beginning the card doesn't make much sense for me, but after my first lost round, I understand the object and how the cards work! We have other "balance the things with cards" in the LD, but this is one of my favorites games. The art and humor in the cards are amazing, and it's super easy to know how to play. Congrats! I love to see this game for mobile or something.

Goth milk? by MetalFox Dioxymore 2021-10-08T19:29:44Z

The heartbeating sound put me in a strange(but cool) mood. I just think that hid the demons is too hard at beginning.

Baby Panda by publicidadeba 2021-10-05T15:42:56Z

maxScore.png 00:43 Sec, my max score! Pratice leads to perfection. At the beginning I was a little lost (i dont see the tiny tiny little panda :( ) but after some time we get how to play. I would love to play on a wii or cell phone, great work!

Kingdom of Chaos by AXLplosion 2021-10-05T18:51:19Z

I love the WarioWare concept, I miss this kind of game for PC. I want there to be more mini-games, but I know the time is too short.

The tax collector mini-game is the hardest for me (I lost twice in this myHightScore.png

Soul Portals by Actual_Potato 69 2021-10-08T13:34:59Z

As I said above, unfortunately it's hard to give good feedback without all the controls working. I would like to say that I liked the concept that you have very little time to make the moves, which gives a certain degree of urgency to the game. I hope you can finish it, be sure to tag me when the game is available!

Void Jumper by Platyp 2021-10-04T23:58:48Z

I miss the sound, even if only for the jumping for feedback. The shadow of the box working well and helps me see where the box are going. I was also kind little cofusin with the score system.

Emotionally Unstable by Apandso 2021-10-05T18:15:36Z

Well...I understand the concept of keeping the feeling in balance, but can't see how I win(I win 3 levels and get 3 new cards, and in one play I lost because I was too happy). The art and music and how we create a new persona for every card we play is a great idea, i just miss a tutorial to understand better what is happening.

Drunk Hill by Jvdwijk 2021-10-05T00:47:09Z

I love the camera moviment, i just think the grass could be one hit like the stones and the dead trees, restart everthing just to step for a little second was a little frustrating. I also love the music!

Pidgeon vs Aliens by Brovis 2021-10-08T12:24:50Z

What a cool Pidgeon! This kind of game his hard to get a balance between the speed of avoid bullets and reverse movement. And that's working perfectly in your game. I also like the art, I just missed some feedback in the player sprite when I get hit, besides change the color of the sprite.

Tower of unlife by bigassopper 2021-10-05T02:18:58Z

Well, my hand are hurting a lot after trying to move against gravity... Great game, I love how not only the tower moves but also the gravity changes the direction. But the checkpoint system doesn't make so much sense to me, sometimes I was on the fourth floor with 3 hearts, and I fall, and the game restart in the first level. And the settings it's not working in the HTML version.

AFTER SUN by rufson 2021-10-08T19:10:53Z

What great work...I check your profile and that's you second ludum dare...what evolution! I play the game for hours at work.Really great job!

Wild Run by LelulaGames 2021-10-05T02:29:25Z

Super monkey ball meets No Man's Sky! The controls are ok, I missed being able to jump (I always had to wait for my terrain to get bigger to move on) and some more variety of moves. But what I missed the most was an end result of how far I could go, or an end point in the game. The graphics were great, and the game runs super light. Congratulations!

The Un's Stable by Kongo 2021-10-07T17:17:10Z

I'm getting late for my job because of this game. This is a wonderful puzzle/fire emblem/animal farm/advanced wars game. I don't see any bug, the music and song (some using real voices, right?) are terrific! Great work all! It's amazing.

2nd Law by Hawkin 2021-10-08T13:19:09Z

That's my kind of game, That transport you to another world. I'm in the work right now and here there is a lot of noise, but even so, I am feeling amazed by the art and the sounds. I read the other feedback and they comment on almost anything I was thinking about. My only tip may reduce the sprite scale when the player goes to back and rescale when the player comes to front.

Witch Reactor by alpacalypse 2021-10-05T00:53:27Z

Two bad ends in a row, and a good jump scary...I'm still try to understand who the game work, I gonna come back later (I saved the game in my notes) and play again.

Cemetery Pinball by DDesignDude 2021-10-08T13:59:27Z

Candle Coffee Courier by BluishGreenPro 2021-10-05T16:05:18Z

I take some time to understand how the wall jump works, but after some minutes it was just fun! Very funny dialogs and graphics.

the Bar by Very Bad Bunny Studio 2021-10-05T15:27:25Z

Hello everyone and thank you for the feedbacks! We are still looking for time to response all, but I will mention some comments here.

@squirmonkey @falcondance @dob The dead time was one of the big problems we found, but the time was running out so we decided to leave this way.

@jeinzi Screen size remains a comfort zone that we need to leave behind, we've never worked on a jam with a size other than 640x480, but it's time to change that. The controls were actually quite different from what we were planning, and with little time to fix we decided not to change and make the situation worse. About the credits, I really appreciate your comment and your tip, we are separating the links and name of each of the people who made the audios available to give the due credits.

LD49 by jeinzi 2021-10-05T01:49:17Z

I still not able to run the gameon windows, so will comment here to try again at home in Linux.errorPrint.png

Star Miner by Misfire_dev 2021-10-06T09:48:30Z

I think that DDR is a good name for this game, DRILL DIE REPEAT. Because for that is the feeling the game pass to me(and I love it). I struggle a little to found the other ores, but after some time playing, I understand that the yellow and purple ones are away from the start point in the game. I don't have any problem with bugs, but I also don't see a way to finishing the game after upgrade all parts. Congratulations!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Decisive Battle by Erkberg 2022-04-05T14:57:24Z

shot.png It left me wanting more.

The music is smooth and perfectly matches the game's setting. I really liked the turn-based combat system but at the same time in real time.

I think there should be a little tutorial explaining the better moves, because I was able to beat the game just by jumping and attacking.

Sound effects for attacks would also give players more feedback.

But my main criticism is that the game is not a "fight to death", as it would fit perfectly into the genre and theme.

Congratulations!

Closure by Junber 2022-04-04T01:50:06Z

I can't comment much, not to spoil the surprise of those who will play, so I'll leave my congratulations, and say that this is my last game tonight, I hope I'll be fine tomorrow.

Ah yes, there's a part where you walk and the dialogues appear, unfortunately sometimes we walk around by accident and skip some dialogues.

Tick Tack by ryupold 2022-04-04T16:40:09Z

This is the nicest teacher I've ever met, and he probably doesn't listen very well.

Very fun man, and I tested it on my phone to see if it ran cool, and it did! Audio would be nice, but I didn't miss it that much.

Congratulations!

Frame Buster by JCMonkey 2022-04-04T13:33:24Z

fps.png Kill chickens and collect coins until the computer explodes/10

I liked the use of FPS to make the game end, I'll try this on the robust computers of my work to see how long it lasts.

The music and models of the chickens are awesome!

Congratulations!

I'm Not A Robot by Turkey 2022-04-04T13:24:37Z

I am totally not a robot!

Great idea to use the captchas system! There comes a time when it becomes impossible to continue, but I think that supports the theme.

Congratulations!

Sakura Shrine by arzi 2022-04-05T13:50:37Z

sakura.png An amazing work of art! I would like to know if the art and music were all made by the team, because everything turned out so visually amazing!

I think the sound effects break the mood a bit, (I believe they were made in sfx), but not much.

The gameplay is also interesting, and it was a different way of thinking about the tower defense genre and the theme.

Congratulations!

Just 5 more minutes by stoffe 2022-04-06T12:46:02Z

What a nice song to hear. I had a lot of fun playing and the music matched the setting a lot.

For top down games like this I always recommend putting some power ups, because sometimes it's very difficult when a giant wave of enemies comes, and we don't have much to do but shoot, and in this case the shooting range is very small , which complicates matters further.

But the idea was very well implemented, I loved the snooze mode option.

Congratulations!

Need for Sleep by dodormeur 2022-04-04T18:52:54Z

You played a game of me playing the game of ludum dare! lol I loved the effect of the words blurring, and the closing eye was also very cool.

And oh, I got the reference ok? Here is my answer!

Heaven Can Wait by paulhocker 2022-04-05T12:57:25Z

Incredible! Man, the arts were awesome, and the whole concept behind it matched the theme a lot!

The music and sound effects also created a great ambiance.

The source of the tutorial was a little unreadable, I had to make an effort to read it.

I don't know if you've been playing the other games, but your game has the potential to earn a lot of points, but you need to play the other games for it to appear (I went to the game session with zero points)

Congratulations!

Heaven Can Wait by paulhocker 2022-04-05T13:33:28Z

@paulhocker I don't remember seeing the screen, but having seen the screen, but having seen the score of 2 faith is mine, I will try again.

The Sea Won't Stop by m11 2022-04-04T17:57:01Z

A short but very complete story! The options can be funny at times, and the system of being able to go back and make new choices is pretty cool for a JAM game. Congratulations! Wait....what.png

Volcano Lullaby by jd557 2022-04-04T16:31:48Z

What a fun game! It's funny that although it doesn't stray too far from the platform game formula, the music and art made me want to play it over and over again.

Regarding the code, I think some "quality of life" functions could have been added, such as reducing the sprite's collision mask, and adding a "coyote time"

Congratulations!

Back2Work by radmccool 2022-04-09T00:29:43Z

Go back to work on a raid? Not my kind of sacrifice.

The graphics were well stylized, I liked it a lot. Sounds play their part and provide good feedback on actions.

I think adding a way for me to choose more angles for the shot would be nice, but the way it was programmed had an old school vibe.

It would also be nice if the shots broke the glass, it would give the player more escape options.

The idea of co-workers going up the elevators created a great atmosphere of desperation, very cool.

Congratulations!

Cthulhu Survivors by darwyn 2022-04-04T16:59:12Z

score.png

I really liked the use of the circle of light around the character to indicate his life. I think when health is low, an indicator of where the nearest torch is would be pretty cool.

Some power ups like speed boost would also be nice.

Cleric Wanted by Garazbolg2 2022-04-06T13:23:18Z

Very happy to see a game with game-like gameplay that I sent (Especially to COMPO), congratulations!

I know how difficult it is to balance an RPG during development, and I won't comment on that.

I really liked the battle system, but I was kind of lost on how the dungeons worked, after playing for a while (I played around 40 minutes) I managed to find out how it works and it was smooth.

Right at the beginning of the game, it shows that my party has 4 slots, but if I take a class, the game already says that it is full, I was a little confused by that too.

The art fit the genre perfectly, and the interface was very friendly.

Congratulations!

Piggy Pileup by candlesan 2022-04-04T13:51:01Z

English is not my native language, but until I managed to get pretty far (I had some words that I'm sure don't exist but I pointed it out anyway).

I'm curious to know how you did the word check, I'll download the source code later.

The music and art fit perfectly with the theme.

Congratulations!

Ludum Dare 50 by Dilem 2022-04-04T16:26:01Z

Wow, when I started playing I thought "the result that comes out in this game is how long will I live"... well, I died in the game at 16, and I'm 28, so something wrong is not right. lol

The use of tasks was super creative, and the curtain animation was super cool and creates a beautiful ambiance.

Congratulations!

PS: Your project name is with the Jam name, not the game name.

Anya's Valley by nardandas 2022-04-08T23:38:43Z

I'm very happy to see a game with a light diet, this JAM addressed many heavy topics (this one also addresses, but in a cuter way).

I understood right away that I ran out of mana that the small circles served to recover it, but I think a sound effect would be interesting (at least I didn't notice any).

The music was super delicate, and the map was really big (in a good way). I found some weird bugs like the character getting stuck in some parts of the land, and it took me a while to understand how to harvest the items.

The art turned out super cute, congratulations!

Cursed Unicorn by gord10ahmet 2022-04-04T01:37:29Z

Great narrative intro! I played about 5 times, but it was very difficult to get past level 3, I think it would be interesting if you could heal all your life instead of just a little, because the fast attack takes time to scale and so it's not worth investing. (at least in the my game) With the introduction given I believed there would be music, but the sounds created a nice atmosphere.

An additional comment on the sprites of the spirits in the dark with their eyes glowing, they were awesome. Congratulations for the game!

Caring Hero by Solah 2022-04-04T10:55:01Z

I loved the music! I thought the magic had a name of a Brazilian doll funny.... Screenshot_1.png

I read the controls, but it took me a while to understand that on the keyboard it was the shift that healed the boss. Screenshot_3.png I also think that magic takes a while to start healing, I lost several times because of that.

Congratulations!

Evacuation Station by Taffaz 2022-04-04T14:25:31Z

The music shows the urgency of the game. The graphics and the explanation were very well done, I think the power ups could only be permanent because the game gets more and more difficult. The shots could also be bigger, and more detailed.

But it's an incredible game, even more done in 48 hours. Congratulations!

Dinosaur Apocalypse by sivarde 2022-04-04T16:36:31Z

dinoGame.png

Is that how it all happened?! This explains the existence of chickens...

Great game, I wanted to get past 2 minutes to see if the shooting speed increases even more, I thought this was a great game design choice.

Fun music as well as art.

Congratulations!

Protect The Light by Untitled Studios 2022-04-04T14:08:51Z

Did you do all these moves in two days? I work with game maker, and I don't see myself doing that, congratulations! And I believe that the game stayed within the theme, there comes a time when it becomes very difficult to keep the light!

Art music and effects fully functional and matching. Congratulations!

Tale of the Fallen Kingdom by lazarche 2022-04-05T14:42:42Z

What lovely characters, and what an extremely difficult game! Love the system, and the enemies are also pretty cool, and each has a different mechanical level.

I missed a song to give a bigger ambiance, but I understand that by the time it can be very difficult to produce one.

A doubt, was it made in the game maker? I hadn't tested opera GXC, very good!

Congratulations!

Brace Yourself by PaperMartin 2022-04-04T17:26:19Z

I've never used unity, but the graphics of this game made me want to use it! Were they pre-rendered or generated on the fly?

I thought it was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed the dramatic pause before the plane exploded.

Congratulations!

Dead Weight by jsloth 2022-04-04T18:25:59Z

died.png

A great choice for the name of the game!

The ambiance and sounds were incredible, as was the atmosphere. I just didn't feel too much trouble, in fact, I ended up losing because my boss came to the office and I had to stop playing, but I'll try again later.

Congratulations!

Dancing Trees by Ixio 2022-04-05T16:15:20Z

Well, here are my thoughts: The music is fun and the graphics are pleasant and match the style that was proposed.

The idea is great, but I think there was a lack of strategy when applying it.

There is only the tree to be placed as an obstacle, so I think that clicking on the area could simply place it there, without having to click all the time on the upper hud.

The lag power of the trees doesn't stagnate, so there's no way to slow down the sea-eaters too much.

I understand that the theme is inevitable, but I think that more options for the delay would make the game more interesting, I played it 5 times with different strategies (try to defend the edges, then defend just one tree, and then put bonfires on the entire map) and my matches almost always lasted a minute, never longer.

If there's anything I haven't noticed (new objects or a different strategy) please let me know!

Congratulations!

Run Little Zombie by Tellyhead 2022-04-04T18:46:27Z

I'm amazed at some games, how did you make all these assets in 48 hours? Congratulations! The camera makes it a little difficult, but also gives a touch of originality! Question: How does death kill a zombie?

Ticking Clock by FlipKING78 2022-04-04T10:28:56Z

Ship control is so smooth and responsive! The music and graphics are also great. I would just say to remove the collision from the timer and throw it to one of the corners of the screen (this way it gave a touch of originality)

Childhood Memories by Alexthehuman2 2022-04-06T18:37:44Z

The idea of wanting to have two ruined childhood memories is kind of sad, because it means they were once good. HA HA

The warioware vibe of this game is huge, I liked it a lot, I didn't feel the evolution of the difficulty as I went through the levels, in fact the main reason I lost was that at some point my hand hurt (especially in the bike minigame)

The art was very simple, but I still liked it because it matched the proposal.

The bike minigame is by far the most difficult, I think two keys instead of doing a whole cycle in AWSD would be more interesting.

Congratulations!

Fool's Gold by CharlesSchar 2022-04-04T13:38:35Z

The music is super fun, and I liked the reverse spelunker vibe! It's also great to see such a well-crafted game made in game maker, I'll download the code and study it later.

Some puzzles are quite difficult, but the controls work well and that helps a lot.

Congratulations!

The Last Savior by JustusPan 2022-04-06T15:15:32Z

KILLED.png

Great fight! The use of the JKL was very well placed, but as the difficulty increases the game becomes much more difficult I just started pressing all the buttons HA HA.

One thing I missed was my character's life, I at least didn't notice any sounds warning me if my life was low or something. Power ups are useful, but I think a power up that increases the attack area would be pretty cool too.

Congratulations to the team!

name.png

The best village name I've ever seen!

Super creative, and original, I loved the mechanics of throwing myself in front of the train to detelo.

I really think the ax should go back to the character's hand, instead of going for it, something a bit thor. (Even if it was a temporary power up)

Congratulations!

Warmer by S1l3Jamal 2022-04-05T13:08:53Z

earth.png

It's kind of sad to know that this kind of situation is inevitable.

But the game really matched the theme, the firefighting mechanic was fun and the music was cool.

I think some sounds for feedback on actions would be nice, and increase the amount of events a little, because I was playing at speed 15 (very nice to be able to increase the game speed, great idea) and even then there were almost no fires.

Research was also very expensive.

Congratulations!

Fifty Dollar Smash by Benjamin Gare 2022-04-06T18:48:01Z

I just saw a live from your game, and I was playing it when I saw your feed post. I know how hard it is to make a game in 48 hours for COMPO. I thought it was really cool the way you used the HUD, covering the entire frame of the screen, and the power ups were used intelligently.

I'm not evaluating the use of the theme much, because it was actually a very difficult one, but I think I could have explored a little more, not just the time and number of enemies.

Congratulations!

Panic at the Museum by James Beninger 2022-04-06T13:11:28Z

Super interesting gameplay! I found it strange that I used the mouse to pay the arts at first, but then I saw how well it worked! And it was really smart to put all the mouse buttons to hold the gear.

The music and the effects of the flames were really cool, especially when we get close to the fire and the noise increases.

The art of the paintings are also very tasteful.

Congratulations!

Summer Vacation by roryh 2022-04-04T12:34:04Z

I believe movement works per turn (one move = one turn), I think a little delay between moves would help a lot, as well as a counter to know when night is coming.

With that being said, the game is amazing, the night effects, the art is simple and delicate, and the menu navigation is fully functional.

Congratulations!

Fly and Dive by SeabirdDigital 2022-04-06T14:54:43Z

What fun controls to use! I'm always kind of worried about airplane games, because the controls are always complicated, but this one was so simple to fly and do the maneuvers, I loved it! And the mechanics of throwing the plane into the lake to put out its fire is super fun, and gives the game a sense of urgency.

I didn't use the bombs much, because the fires always started when I was close to finishing the levels.

I think just using shift to shoot is kind of complicated for windows users, I think it would be nice to use the spacebar, or even the mouse.

The music was very fun, although serious, it matched the game.

The instruction screen was a little too loaded, and the colors didn't match very well, and whenever I started a new level the screen appeared, I think you could put it on a pause screen with ESC.

Congratulations!

Sisyphus loop by InfinitiVoid 2022-04-04T12:36:48Z

I unfortunately couldn't analyze the game, as I didn't understand how to get the resources (from what I understand, they appear randomly). Can you answer and explain to me? So I can do a complete analysis.

Other than that, I loved the music!

We Need To Talk by Doot 2022-04-06T17:55:12Z

I'm not going to lie, I played the first game and I could see the game just to say. HAHA HA

A very interesting use of the theme, and original gameplay too.

As they commented, I found the art style very similar to scott pilgrim, I loved it!

One thing that I think would be interesting would be the sentences changing as you send the answers.

Something like "But...","Listen to me!", "Let me talk" and something like that.

Congratulations!

Carpe Diem by Pomo 2022-04-05T13:28:21Z

I wish I had my VR glasses on to play this game on it, but unfortunately I forgot it in the store.

I felt like I was playing F-zero, but without other cars and curves, the music matches the gameplay a lot, which despite being difficult at first, later I can get the hang of it.

I didn't understand why I couldn't register, my score, I had a perfect 5 minute match, but ok.

Congratulations!

Stone Sabbath by Caladrius 2022-04-09T00:00:52Z

When I saw the image of this game in the feed I stopped and thought "Wow, I need to play this", and I'm not sorry. I passed it on to all my friends.

I saw that it was a great team that participated, and you are to be congratulated! The construction of the world, the music, the graphics, all very good! I'm going to mention the things that I believe could improve the user experience, but I'll leave my congratulations here!

Main - Sounds

I think that adding sounds whenever I hit an attack would greatly increase the feedback for the player, because as the damage animation doesn't, sometimes it's hard to know if I'm hitting or not, especially in combats against several enemies.

The checkered filter: I don't know, but for me the experience would be better without it, or at least have a way to turn it off.

Pause system: Games where time matters is super important to have a pause system, even more in a game with such a big world to explore.

Secondary: I have a sickle and there's a tiger field, why can't I cut them?! =(

Destroying the barrels and crates would be cool!

I saw in the prints someone fishing and I thought they had a fishing system (I'm addicted to fishing system Ha HA)

Well that's it, congratulations to everyone for the work!

I will definitely research more about this mythology.

Planet Saver by PashaLoban 2022-04-04T10:25:55Z

I don't know how unity works, but I believe the character animation was done by Skeletal animation, and it was amazing! For a game made for COMPO I know it's difficult, but I think in this case feedback sounds would help in the interface, and also some form of power up to increase the character's speed.

The Joys of Being Undead by CodeRaurus 2022-04-04T18:04:52Z

cic.png

Stunning pixel art! The music and art are amazing together, and the gameplay is really fun. Too bad there aren't more levels, I would gladly play.

A tip: I think it's interesting that you give a different background on itch.io, because sometimes it mixes with the game's BG.

SensenCemetery by Wouter52 2022-04-06T12:38:58Z

I tried about 10 times, but I couldn't get past 19th place =(.

I found the music scheme increasing as death arrives a great idea, but sometimes I didn't see death coming (even using shift) and lost, maybe it came from the sides.

I also didn't understand how that map below works, and I ended up getting lost and falling into some dead ends.

Congratulations!

Staying Alive by Gabriel Bigardi 2022-04-04T18:18:49Z

That was close, just one block to get the maximum score!

The sound effects are nice, and it creates an urgency when all the blocks start to explode quickly, but I felt a lack of strategy, as I basically ran and prayed not to hit myself,

NOT YET by TheGreenWorm 2022-04-04T10:40:11Z

I followed some arts of this game in the feed, and man, what a job, congratulations! It's my first time making COMPO games and playing only COMPO games, and it's amazing to see what people do in two days.

I found some funny bugs, like double jumps, but everything is very solid, the music and the art and the code.

You Are A Bomb by Benjamin Halko 2022-04-04T16:44:36Z

highScore.png Another game made in the game maker, I'm always happy when I see them!

I don't know why you composed this jazzy song, but it was amazing, I don't know because it reminded me so much of some sonic phases.

The game is fun, the controls are responsive and the art fits well with the proposal, congratulations!

Alien Annihilation by MeritCoding 2022-04-05T13:43:41Z

alien.png I was a little confused by the instructions, I think a tutorial on the main objective of objectives game page would help.

And I don't know why, the text in the top left corner appears cut off for me, and even in windowed mode it hasn't changed.

I think by fixing these bugs people can better evaluate your game.

Congratulations!

On Thin Ice by Nikl 2022-04-04T16:18:35Z

Bug.png The game doesn't load in HTML, and I'm not at home to download it. Can you reply here when it's available?

On Thin Ice by Nikl 2022-04-04T18:10:52Z

Okay...why cows?!

A great idea, and an original way of thinking about the topic, without being so tragic. The movement worked perfectly to create a sense of urgency within the game, and the art was really cute.

Congratulations!

Never High Noon by Jibberwocky 2022-04-04T01:55:47Z

A great game to kill time. HAHAHA HOW did no one make this joke?

Great light effects! It took me a while to find out that I could get inside the houses. (Actually, I only found out when I lost the first time)

Congratulations, I'll download the code later.

Berserk by NoobHereo 2022-04-04T13:55:16Z

The arts are very reminiscent of the Oryx Design Lab, but they are totally original and with a special touch of style, I loved it! Apart from the fact that it has a level editor, and the difficulty is well balanced.

The setting and effects were great too, congratulations!

Coyote Time Lord by Clement Sparrow 2022-04-05T18:17:15Z

One of the most complex puzzles I've played so far on Ludum Dare 50. I don't think I've ever seen coyote time used in this way. The graphics are simple but fully functional for the game. The sounds also pass the necessary feedback. I'm not going to lie that even with the explanation given in the description and the name of the game, it took me a long time to understand how it worked. Definitely one of the best use of the theme and original gameplay.

Mortal Compass by JakubBala 2022-04-05T12:03:27Z

The effect of switching realities was super cool, I felt a small delay in switching from the underworld to the real world, I think if this delay was on purpose, it would be interesting to put a warning, because I kept pressing several times to make the switch.

Running away from souls is very difficult, I think that because this difficulty already exists, life in the underworld could remain the same, but I believe that this would change the plot of the game.

Good use of the theme and well done arts.

Congratulations!

Darkness Waits by BigTVZ 2022-04-06T12:57:57Z

The setting was great, beautiful work with the sound effects and lighting.

However, the controls were very difficult to use, the gravity was extremely high, and it became very difficult to use the stairs and the climbing walls.

I also don't understand why when I fall the checkpoint doesn't work, only when I die to the monsters.

Another question is regarding the theme, where exactly does it fit? Because I played a lot, but I didn't see any change in the scenario.

Congratulations!

Don't Let the Bookbugs Bite! by DamonWakes 2022-04-04T17:04:10Z

Screenshot_5.png

The game so far doesn't seem to have any challenges, the bug just doesn't move.

I played through the itch.io link, but the game is not available here in the post.

If there is any update fixing the bug, please just reply that I play again!

The Final Day by Very Bad Bunny Studio 2022-04-05T13:27:57Z

Thank you all for the feedbacks! I'm giving feedback on other games (especially those in the danger zone so everyone can score!) but today I'm going to work on fixing some small bugs.

@bottled-up-dark-peace win.png

This player did it, I haven't had time to respond to all comments yet, but I believe that because of his strategy it is possible (the forest is the easiest place to get items, and the ruins are the best place to get coins.)

The Final Day by Very Bad Bunny Studio 2022-04-06T17:49:09Z

Thank you all for the feedbacks! Today I'm releasing a version with some bugs fixed, but I decided to leave some (like monsters with 0 health) because they generate a funny reaction from players in lives!

I thank everyone!

speedy student by baily 2022-04-04T13:05:03Z

Good music! The graphics are funny, I think you could have put the character turning when changing direction.

I also found it easy, I played about 3 times to see if the difficulty changed, adding more obstacles along the way would be nice.

Congratulations!

Clickity Clackity, this is a Strawberry! by Frankey333 2022-04-04T12:56:45Z

The start is a little slow, but the game gets incredibly frantic once you manage to build more towers! I loved the music and the fact that I could speed up the game.

Congratulations, and then tell me where the idea for strawberries and crabs came from.

Keep Cool by Nebiros 2022-04-05T21:27:54Z

The expression of despair on the character's face is unbelievable! Great job!

There are some jumps that are difficult to do (some seem impossible) and the ice HITBOX is pretty big, it's kind of hard to move between the fire (which reinforces the theme).

The title screen is really cool, and the sounds match too.

Congratulations for the game!

Floodgrid by Huntrt 2022-04-04T14:31:18Z

Very original! The graphics are simple but they work when teleported (is the teleport icon a portal?) I feel that if I play another 5 rounds, I can survive until about 500 points.

Congratulations!

The Fastest RPG by DaylonWilkins 2022-04-05T12:51:02Z

Damn, I wanted to be an RPG (I also create one for COMPO), but I couldn't, even with the instructions passed by execute @vektrus

Can you explain how to assemble it?

LoopDragonTower by AL43868 2022-04-04T12:29:27Z

The idea of an idle RPG is great! I think it was just missing a tutorial on how items work, I played for almost 20 minutes until I understood what interrogation and item evolution were for.

I think if you edit the post and put a tutorial people will enjoy it better.

Congratulations!

Ancient Shooter by attentionadmin 2022-04-05T16:23:42Z

I think most of the comments said what I would say, so I'll just say that some kind of sound would be interesting, and put the controls more clearly in the tutorial.

Congratulations on the project!

Stay alive by Eli Haun 2022-04-04T17:54:19Z

Do you really believe this can be called "prolonging life?"

Simple gameplay and well-made graphics that match. The music and sound effects are also awesome, congratulations!

It took me a while to know how to generate the colors, but that's because I missed my art classes.

Please, Don't Die by iva1 2022-04-06T17:55:59Z

please dont die.png The game is actually harder than it looks on the first try. I don't know if it was just me, but the hitbox seemed kind of unfair to me, sometimes it was hard to move between the monsters (which I think was the idea).

The gameplay became simple but functional, and the fact that the movement area changes additional places is a very interesting element.

I think a tip is to decrease the main character's hitbox, and give powerup to the shot, to give a survival in the more difficult levels.

Congratulations! If this feedback helped you, don't forget to rate with a "<3"

Project Memory: Delay Extinction by RaXaH 2022-04-08T23:18:06Z

Glad to see another "administration" game in this edition!

I have some considerations of what I missed (many of these happened in my game too and I missed it)

The feedback on the buttons is of great help, as I watched the video before playing I knew how it worked, however clicking the buttons, or hovering the mouse over it had no change, and sometimes it was difficult to know what was clickable and what was not.

During the game, it was not possible to know that it was possible to move the rangers around (which was also solved by the video).

Other than that the game is very solid, I didn't find any BUGs, and the art is really nice.

Unfortunately, the setting made me a little sad, but it is the reality of what is happening and has always happened.

Hope you are successful in the game! Congratulations!

Nightwaker by Bottled up Dark Peace 2022-04-05T14:04:52Z

I think this is the game that touched me the most so far, this jam had several games with sensitive themes, the art and music of this one, and the gameplay with the eyes made everything deeper.

Incredible how you set up the world in so little game time, and few words.

About the gameplay, despite my two fingers hurting to keep my eyes open (which I thought was great, I felt the pain of the character), the typing mechanics fit like a glove.

I am unfortunately facing a bug at the end, I sent you a message so as not to spoil the experience of other players.

Nightwaker by Bottled up Dark Peace 2022-04-05T14:13:12Z

@bottled-up-dark-peace Thank you for the explanation! It worked here! Congratulations!

Fresh From The Oven by KobaHawk 2022-04-05T11:15:10Z

Another creative idea that sees the theme in a different way, congratulations! The music and the 3D models really matched, and the gameplay was super fluid (the jetpack was an element that worked very well, and gave the funny tone)

I believe that two things could improve the user experience

-A local scoreboard for us to try to beat our score (or show how long we survived in the end)

A "danger" indication when a hand is within seconds of picking up a piece.

Congratulations.

Over the Rainbow Bridge by Iguanana 2022-04-04T02:01:16Z

Simple and delicate. I loved the music and the choice of colors. One doubt, does picking up the bad objects make the game end sooner? Well, at least in my gameplay the game ended normally.

Venting Machine by EmberUshi 2022-04-04T12:22:52Z

VENDINGMACHINE.png The sounds and animations were amazing, and they work very well together. It's also very satisfying to do the combos, especially in the air.

Unfortunately if it's not in full-screen the controls don't work very well.

Congratulations!

Death of an Intern by Papaya 2022-04-04T13:45:04Z

Pay to work/10

The setting and gameplay are amazing! I can't wait to get home and terminals to compose my other 90 files.

It's absurd that I have to pay for food at work!!

Congratulations!

Wrong Road by Denjil 2022-04-05T21:11:19Z

This game has to be played by more people! The cutscene is awesome, and the gameplay is breathtaking! I'm recommending several games for people to play (including mine), but this one has to be in the top of the LD 50, especially in setting.

Congratulations!

I just thought the ""mini-games"" inside the direction didn't make much sense, but I understand why they were there. There could be a way to drive and run, without the mini games and more obstacles.

Colorful Love by Mikomoares 2022-04-05T15:52:38Z

I still haven't been able to play co-op mode (waiting for the wife to arrive HA HA) but I've come a long way in single-player mode. The game's physics works very well, and it's fun to play with the slimes and watch them run. Sometimes in single player mode it is difficult to move the two, but I think that was my lack of coordination. A tip, whenever a level starts again, I think it would be nice not to see the messages, because I myself died many times and always had to see the same thing. But that was the only thing I thought I could change.

Congratulations for the game! And when I play with one more person I come back to edit the review!

Spiraland by A Chill Lemur 2022-04-04T16:48:32Z

Great code for generating phases! I found the colors a little too strong, (I played for like 20 minutes, but I always died with my character being thrown off the screen for some reason)

I wish I had started using teleportation sooner.

Congratulations!

Dino Escape by Nima 2022-04-04T01:57:20Z

Dino Escape by Nima 2022-04-04T13:28:43Z

Great music and graphics! I played for almost 25 minutes and it lasted quite a while! A change in the land sprite when it was hit (or a different sound) would be nice, sometimes I missed it but I didn't know why.

Congratulations!

Not Today! by AlexDaCxt 2022-04-04T13:17:00Z

7 rounds! Suck that death!

As people commented, it's a great way to use Frogger's mechanics. The humor in the death lines and the use of different phrases when cars pass very close gave a special touch.

I loved the song, it created a tension without taking away the mood.

Congratulations!

Don't Let Me Down by Trev3lyan 2022-04-04T16:22:01Z

"Sad" games about animals are on the rise in this edition.

I loved the sound effects and the dog animation is perfect. Programming has become so fluid that it's fun to jump and walk, even without hitting the ball.

Congratulations!

SkyTimer by TheSerOT 2022-04-04T19:34:42Z

When I saw the print, I first thought that someone had made a battle royale!

The art is impeccable, and the theme was creatively fitted.

The use of wind sounds to simulate the movements was pretty clever.

Congratulations!

Gary by Mohammad Aldehayat 2022-04-04T13:01:07Z

Wow, how much violence!

The art is very well produced, and the sounds are receptive.

But I found the use of items confusing, the only thing I understood what it does is wood.

I think a tutorial in the post about what each item does will help the user experience.

Congratulations!

Ceaseless Rain by CaptainCarrot 2022-04-04T13:10:31Z

Simply incredible! You've managed to make a game with arcade gameplay feel sensational. My congratulations, the scene when the dam bursts is heartbreaking.

The art, music and playability, all working perfectly.
