Links are missing :(
Found their game, anyone looking for a link use this
My best score was infinite :') I had a bug (no pun intended) where the level spawned me in a completely sealed and safe room lol. Also the voice acting is superb 👌
There are no links to play
First time I played I accidentally managed to get all bugs stuck on a wall with level generation, lol. Pretty fun game, random level generation made me replay it several times, but sometimes creates inaccessible rooms which results in small map (not necessarily a bad thing). Death sound caught me off guard. Only issue I found is that it's pretty easy to hide behind a wall so bugs can't get you. Maybe having a new bug spawn in random place sometimes could fix this.
Also include a link to your game ;)

The game so far doesn't seem to have any challenges, the bug just doesn't move.
I played through the itch.io link, but the game is not available here in the post.
If there is any update fixing the bug, please just reply that I play again!
hahaha! :-) So much fun! I like the idea. The shelves-dragging is awesome. So satisfying to hinder the bugs from reaching you. Too bad they eat through the books. Then again, the theme would have been missed if they couldn't. Well done! :) I especially like the eating sound of the bugs. So unsettling! :D
@defrag @pitxardo @spounka346 Thanks for the heads-up about the missing links! I could have sworn that they were in there, but apparently not. Huge thanks to @mook for tracking my thing down regardless!
Found it! Fun little game. I initially mistook unwalkable areas as walkable and put myself into a deadend. However, I later was able to create barricades to hold out a little longer. The ability to construct defenses in a limited sort of way is what made the game fun for me. Good submission!
@very-bad-bunny-studio Sorry to hear the game didn't work for you. Could you let me know what browser you were using to play it? I haven't encountered that specific issue before but I have had one other GDevelop game behave differently on two devices so it's not entirely surprising. I'll fix it if I can work out what's going wrong!
Also, now that I think of it, could you move the wizard around at all? Both the wizard and the bug are controlled by the same physics forces so if one works but not the other then that might help identify the problem.
@oldcezar Thanks for playing! The random level generation was a fairly late addition and took some work to get anything viable out of it: I moved on to graphics and sound once I had something that was typically producing fun levels, but it is fairly common to get stuck in a comparatively small room (or even entirely separated from the starting bug).
With a little longer to work on this, it might be good to spawn a bug near the player if they've managed to get a certain distance away from any bugs from a certain length of time. It might even be possible to have that time decrease the farther away you get - so if you manage to get really far away from any bugs, another one will pop up in your face right away, or if you've simply managed to consistently keep a few bookshelves between you and the swarm, the game might throw in another nearby to shake things up after fifteen seconds or so. Definitely an idea I'd like to experiment with if I come back to this!
@defrag Thanks for checking back! Yeah, I spent some time shuffling art assets around, and though I tried for a general "light(ish) surfaces are passable, dark ones are obstacles" colour scheme, it definitely could have been clearer - in hindsight the wall bricks I knocked together probably do look a bit like floor tiles.
The game as a whole was sort of inspired by those sequences in Resident Evil 4 where you drag tables and bookshelves in front of doors and windows to keep the zombies at bay. It's such a cool idea that I always found it kind of annoying there are only one or two places you can do it in the game. This ended up being a little more frantic than strategic - neither the bug movement nor the level generation lent itself to narrow doorways that could be reliably blocked completely - but I'm glad that same basic appeal of heaving together barricades comes through!
@lupercalia Haha! The bugs were probably the easiest monster I've ever had to make sounds for - it's just chewing gum and a microphone!
On my first attempt, the level generation put the bug in an area that had no path to me, so I just walked around and got loads of points. I figured it wasn't meant to go that way, so I restarted it and managed to play it properly.
Being as you mentioned that the click-drag isn't really intended/balanced, I didn't use it. Having purely an "attractor" is an interesting way to do physics manipulation, but sometimes got a little frustrating when I would get swarmed by bookshelves and couldn't move. Part of the design, I suppose!
The wall sprites confused me at first, it took a while to remember and internalise that they were inaccessible.
All in all, a cool idea!
Ahh, this was fantastic! Really loved the gameplay once I got the hang of it--thought I'd gotten away with a fairly small-ish swarm following me, only to loop back to another area and discover the horrors I'd apparently left in my wake...!
The voice lines absolutely made it on the humour front. Really great work!
(My game also happens to be set in a library that's actively out to kill you, so it was a fun coincidence to find yours!)
Interesting mechanics, needs some polish but I never saw something like that :)

I don't think they'll ever find me here. Gosh that sound of the bugs moving is disturbing. The odd piano playing was pretty tense too. Very strong mood you made there. I was definitely uncomfortable. It was kind of cool building barricades with the books when the bugs were chasing me at the start. But then they couldn't follow me around the corner. So I was safe. After time 150 I decided to go and check on the bugs.

Look at them. Sad little creatures. I decided to get closer.

The sound that plays when I lose was worth the death.
I wonder what would've been the smallest possible tweak to their AI to make them chase me even when I go around the corner. Maybe make them move in a random direction for 2 meters every 10 seconds? I guess teaching them a path finding algorithm would be better. Still, it was quite the experience. Thank you for the game.
That was terrifying. The death sound made me laugh, as I said something very similar moments before. I achieved 131s. I started again and the first bug was stuck on the other side of a wall due to it blindly trying to move towards the player, so I could essentially last forever.
Cool idea! The death sounds were hilarious and the bug sounds were appropriately terrifying. On my first run the map generation was a bit weird but the next run it was fine.
Good idea. At first was very exciting as the bugs chased. The bug movement needs fixing though as it is possible to move far enough away and the bugs get stuck on a wall, so it becomes impossible to lose. Enjoyed the creepy piano.
I liked the overall gameplay and the wacky physics of this game. Very nice piano music and unsettling bug sound effects.
Pretty easy to go forever, but boy that mood setup was pretty good. Adding some pathfinding for the bugs so they can navigate the area instead of just chilling on the wall would definitely add to the mood. [movie announcer]NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, THEY WILL BE THERE.[/movie announcer]
Nice game! The music adds a lot to the game atmosphere. Cool game mechanics too. Good job!
niaaaaaargg they're in my eeeeyes!!
