The game is not that bad it's fine if it's incomplete keep it up. Could've been better at spots like fun but i get that it wasn't much time so keep it up the music and art is amazing
I like the concept a lot. Art and sfx are nice as well. Hope you had fun in your first jam!
Cool game idea! I'd love to see where it'd end up when finished. I like the fire effects and the fact that you could speed up the game time.
The research cost was super high though! I'm not sure I could ever get it in time.
I love the particle effects and the music. Also the message at the end! I agree that this is an important topic.
One small feedback: At first I always clicked on the costs / modifier text right to the image of the building I wanna build. Maybe the whole black box should be clickable? But its just a small UX-thingy.
Congratulations for your first entry! Hope to see you in future jams too!
Congrats on your first LD! I think it is pretty nice, but I haveput no idea how I can delete the buidings, also I can't extinguish the flames in the lower right corner. Hope you had a good time
It's a shame you didn't have time to finish - this a nice game, and I can definitely see the potential for it to have been a really good entry. I still enjoyed playing what is there of it - I think you'll definitely do well if you can plan better in your future jams.
Great job for a first LD !
This is a great first attempt! The game fits the theme very well. I love the art style and the music. You did a great job making the game easy for players to understand.

It's kind of sad to know that this kind of situation is inevitable.
But the game really matched the theme, the firefighting mechanic was fun and the music was cool.
I think some sounds for feedback on actions would be nice, and increase the amount of events a little, because I was playing at speed 15 (very nice to be able to increase the game speed, great idea) and even then there were almost no fires.
Research was also very expensive.
Congratulations!
Happy first Ludum Dare, You're game looks great! i hope you will soon add sounds when clicking on wild fire
Loved the concept. Music was nice and the gameplay was simple but relaxing :D.
Some feedback: - For the buildings, make the whole button clickable to place instead of just the smaller image container, I didn't realize at first and thought it was bugged. - A fire spawned on the bottom right and I couldn't click it, and I know why that is because I also use Godot and can tell you the fix. Your Label node there or whatever it is has a mouse_filter property and it needs to be set to `ignore` instead of `stop` or `pass`
Cool time management game idea, very nice result for your first LD congratz! Unfortunately the game fits the theme very well. Music is simple but fitting and the same is true for the graphics. The core gameplay was a bit too simple and repetative for me, there could be more thing to do than putting out fires. But I really liked the idea of a tycoon/management part of this, for sure could be further developed into a full fledged game. ps: I could not put out the fire which spawned in new zealand below the "Building: 7/7" text
This game showed a lot of promise, the art looks good and the music is a jam!
Very nice game, especially for a first jam!
The game may be incomplete, but it's very playable and (at least for some fires) actually fun. Besides the soundtrack and graphics, already mentioned, we can also see little touches here and there, like increasing the game speed, for instance, or having a instructions page -- few games in the jam have it, and I usually struggle with anything more complicated than pressing enter or direction keys.
Congrats on your entry, see you in the next Ludum Dare!
Congratulation on your first game in Ludum Dare and welcome to the community! Nice idea and cool art style. Awesome music! Limiting the buildings to only 7 does not give the player too much to do. And upgrade to build more would be a nice addition. Besides that, good job!
The game needs some work, but it's a neat idea and does function perfectly fine. I like the music. The graphics also have a nice simplistic style to them.
