Well, here are my thoughts: The music is fun and the graphics are pleasant and match the style that was proposed.
The idea is great, but I think there was a lack of strategy when applying it.
There is only the tree to be placed as an obstacle, so I think that clicking on the area could simply place it there, without having to click all the time on the upper hud.
The lag power of the trees doesn't stagnate, so there's no way to slow down the sea-eaters too much.
I understand that the theme is inevitable, but I think that more options for the delay would make the game more interesting, I played it 5 times with different strategies (try to defend the edges, then defend just one tree, and then put bonfires on the entire map) and my matches almost always lasted a minute, never longer.
If there's anything I haven't noticed (new objects or a different strategy) please let me know!
Congratulations!

The graphics and sound are great. I like the concept and how it fits the theme. I did have some issues with the fire not being correctly placed where my mouse was.
Very creative game, i enjoyed playing it. The graphics and coding was very smooth so well done.
Great game, I did like the music alot.
For me it was a little confusing how the fire spawned - on the left side of the window the fire spawned exactly at my cursor, the more right you go, the more right does the fire spawned. It would also be nice to just spawn the fire instead of suppressing the fire-button. But thats makes the game more "inevitable", so it's fitting the theme.
Great Job!

Took me a minute to figure out that the camp fires slowed them down. After that, it was quite fun. Nice work!

First of all, thank you so much for including the WebGL build!
The game itself was rather nice. It took me some time to figure out what was going on, but as soon as it clicked and I saw what you were going for, I had a decent time! Slowing people by fire is kind of unintuitive, but it works, providing a decent spin on a set theme.
Also the lore at the start was rather nice c:
Best campfire spam simulator!
Cool little game with nice music!
There is something off with the placement coordinates along the X axis, placing campfires towards the right makes them increasingly offset to the right compared to the cursor position.
It would be nice to see a preview of the campfire before placing it.
I also wish those people had a chance to fall into a campfire and die. :P

Cool idea and pretty nice art style. The music is really nice too. Sometimes the campfires are placed not where the mouse cursor is. I wish there were more interactions. Anyway, well done.
I love the lighthearted and funny plot as well as the little references here and there :relaxed:
I'm not sure how the placing works, but more often than not, campfires ended up pretty far away from where I was actually clicking, which made it harder to delay the seacomers effectively. I also wish there was replay button. Apart from that, it's quite a pleasant experience.
My best was 53. Keep it up, Godot friends!

This has a very good concept. The controls are simple but there's a problem with fire placement. Sometimes when I clicked on a spot, the campfire would be a placed a few pixels away and not where the mouse is. The art style is simple and nice. Overall the game is quite enjoyable :D
