Very fun and nicely polished as always from you. Level design and difficulty balance were great!

Neat! Appreciated the novel way to increase the difficulty, and the "parry" mechanic was cool. The music was... distractingly bizarre.
Agreed about the QOL potential, regardless this is really neat. The most fun I've had from the game mechanics alone this jam so far!
Very fun! My machine couldn't take it later on, framerate started to plummet
Good execution of a simple idea!
To reiterate the previous commenter's points, some feedback for using the watercooler/bed/fridge, particularly sound, would add a lot to this. Also, minor but failing from neglecting thirst told me I didn't deliver enough coffee, which had me a bit confused before I figured out the watercooler/bed/fridge.
Very cool (pun intended). The mechanics feel great, character is cute. The difficulty skyrockets a few minutes in though, never gonna be able to finish it
Excellent music. Loved the overall aesthetic. Pity there wasn't more variety to the gameplay
Some small nitpicks: - Could have brought the action to to the player a bit sooner. Takes a bit too long before I started seeing boats - I suspect some ambient sound (water, waves) and sfx (splashing etc) would have added a lot here
@mibehu HTML version worked for me, tested on Firefox
RNG can screw you over but it's an otherwise solid jam game!
Also, I managed to stack two tables on top of my head and I'm happy with myself. Just thought I'd let you all know
Very fun, absolutely loved it! Great physics in this, lots of potential in this platforming engine. Excellent level design teaches the important mechanics gradually. And a good difficulty pacing, major kudos for getting that right for a game jam! Cute characters, animations and fitting graphics. Only real gripe I had was that the character movement was a bit slow.
edit: also, neat detail that you could jump half height with a crate on your head. pity none of the level design had a use for this!
@lisyarus @glaikunt @alaah @wogabi thanks for the feedback on that! Yeah, I had rigged the math so that the player could only reasonably survive about 6-12 days before inevitably dying of thirst. I messed up on the presentation of that though. There's really nothing to make that clear to the player, so it just ended up feeling unfair or like something the player was missing. There isn't anything ye missed, death from dehydration is inevitable in this game! (if I did it right)
The shelter was there as a bonus challenge to strive for, plus it gave the illusion of more content than there really was :p
Cool little tower-defense/RTS game. Lots of little attention to details I appreciated: interactible objects highlighting on hover, queueing construction, and the eyes of the creatures standing out when in shadows :ok_hand:
Little nitpicks: - the font for the construction prices seems to be a bit too small vs your render resolution? I can barely make out 100 or 600 regardless of if I zoom in or not. - mining sounds get overwhelming when you have lots of people mining - grass backdrop is a little bland - translucent black is a cheap and easy way to give a nighttime effect, but it's not very realistic. there is also a shift from "warmer" to "colder" colours. tip: you can usually emulate the color change with some color rebalancing. making everything just a little less saturated and more blue works wonders, with no need to become an expert in color theory!
Geat art and a nice tune. Lots of little details with the environment. Can't tell if it's intentional or just ironic, but "Plaese" instead of "please" in the itch.io title is very fitting :D
Only gripes would be the lack of a conclusion/ending, lack of interaction required while working
Charming game! Feels complete, it all works together well. Music and visuals are excellent
Neat little top-down shooter. Nice that all the guns feel like they have a use!
My only notable qualm: it wasn't clear exactly what effect the powerups were having.
love it! lots of fun little twists. great art, sound, and writing!
clever take on the theme to deliver an upbeat game. a breath of fresh air after so many games which play out an impending doom!
The real question: whose face is that?
Ominous orb and voice acting set an atmosphere, a good start. Gets tedious fairly fast though; gameplay needs more mechanics and polish to keep people playing
Music was neat, art worked well. Overall pretty solid presentation-wise. Something feels like it needs adjustment on the difficulty though, either shooting is too slow or the craters start off too fast.
Hahaha, the game over is great. I enjoyed it, though it gets hectic super fast, I wasn't able to last that long. The sucking up mechanic feels just right, and the audio (music, sounds, effects) is absolutely excellent!
Nice! Movement and shooting feels just right. Gets super hectic late in...
Amusing aside but you can continue playing when the game over screen is up
Clever idea having the enemy drop pieces for a bridge. Rather challenging and luck-heavy though!
