Great job finishing your game! Your transition effect looks great and I think the idea of placing grenades to boost the boulder up makes for interesting puzzle opportunities. I would recommend hosting on itch.io and using that link instead. Itch supports any type of file you upload and that way people won't see your personal email address when downloading your game and Google Drive won't automatically block the initial download attempt with its built in virus scan feature. (For anyone concerned, I downloaded and tested the game myself. It's just a GMS1 game, nothing malicious)
@daniel-foutz Hey, thanks for playing and the advice! I will work on making an itch.io page for it.
Just played through.
Overall I thought this was a good entry that felt like it achieved what it set out to do.
Likes: * Very polished, didn't run into any bugs * Good balance of art/audio/gameplay concepts * Easy to pick up and play, all instructions needed were in the game
Feedback: * Would have been great to see more levels. You introduced some cool concepts but I would have loved to see them explored more. * Overall I felt the art was a little too dark, the character, items and ball could benefit from standing out a bit more * Would be nice for the level to naturally restart instead of needing to press R - maybe the ball should slow down over time?
Well done :) I'd say next time try to give yourself more time to work on content. It's hard to strike the right balance between polish and content, feels like you almost got it!

I enjoyed this! Good amount of polish, intuitive concept, and fun puzzles. Art felt a little dark (as a previous commenter mentioned) and could have improved contrast. Overall, very neat game.
The polish on things like the screen transitions, animations, sound effects, etc. is really nice. My main complaint would be that I wish you could reset the level without all the puzzle elements returning to their homes. Often I would have the solution but a grenade would be just slightly misplaced, or something, and I wanted to just nudge it over rather than having to re-place all the other elements as well. Overall, I liked it, it's very charming and silly, reminds me of old flash games in a way.
A game about gold miners? I'm in. I liked the music and retro feel of the game (the level complete was satisfying text).
Hitting the space bar did not pick up the hand greneade, but all in all a fun experience
My poor little character, he just couldn't catch a break. Loved the idea, should push it a bit more, maybe make the goal is to get him killed instead of through to the next area

Nice job, had fun and didn't find any bugs
Nice game! It made a lot of fun to play it! Even the way you made the theme is not also a very funny but a creative way! Keep going!
Fun! Looks great
The music is super fun, and I liked the reverse spelunker vibe! It's also great to see such a well-crafted game made in game maker, I'll download the code and study it later.
Some puzzles are quite difficult, but the controls work well and that helps a lot.
Congratulations!
@widdershin Thanks for playing the whole game and the excellent feedback!
@cassowary Thanks for playing! I tried to make the puzzles relatively quick to complete, but I agree that that is a flaw.
I like this game. Great mood, fun puzzles. Glad I ignored Windows Smartscreen, as others have said hosting a web version on itch would be great.
@trev3lyan Thanks! Yeah, I will probably use Godot for the next jam so I can make a web version.
Great polished game. I enjoyed puzzles. I need more levels.

Very cool concept, if a bit dark haha. Would play more levels if more were made.

Nice game, wish there were more levels, this is the kind of game I can play for hours on end!
Very cool game! I was a bit frustrated that the grenade placing needed to be so precise sometimes, because I wanted to focus on puzzle solving haha. But it was very fun, I think I could've easily played through 10 more levels! The art is pretty straight-forward (like 0 doubt about what objects are, the glass around the key is cool), and globally the game looks very polished, I think you did a great job at scoping! As a puzzle enthusiast I would've preferred more levels with one mechanic (grenade or teleporters) rather than two mechanics, but with your choice the potential of the game is clearer :) The only drawback for me is the theme, that doesn't feel so embedded in the game core mechanics for me. Maybe it would've felt more natural if being killed by the boulder was an actual winning condition? idk. Anyways I hope my review doesn't sound too negative, because I liked this game  and having it so polished after so little time is very impressive :tada:
I played your game and here're the things I loved: - Finishing all the levels and being genuinely upset there are no more - Thinking this thing must not be coming this way but completing the level nonetheless and realizing I was subconsciously doing everything right - Not breaking the game as I play while it being obviously possible with physics style puzzling
I also did not like: - The theme having nothing to do with all of it =)
Hey Great game! And a funny take on the theme. I also like the progression of new mechanics introduced, like portals and such.
Great puzzles and an entertaining concept! My only critique is that I am just not a fan of pressing up to jump - but that's a personal preference. I naturally try to press space to jump. But other than that I felt your game was easy to pick up and play. I enjoyed myself! Great job!

Nice game! I really liked the old-school vibe you were going for, the graphics, audio and gameplay in general really sell it well. I found out that pressing the Alt key triggers an error though.
I'm sure others noticed this, but it is quite possible to survive on some levels, simply by tossing the exit portal beyond the button. I felt pretty clever when I figured that out! The platforming physics aren't quite as refined as I would maybe like to see. In one level I had to jump through a 1 block wide space and, while I didn't get stuck, there was a certain friction with the tiles that feels like it needs ironed out. Good job, though, creating an entire puzzle platformer under jam conditions is nothing to sneeze at.

this is a fun lil game you got here!
The mechanics and the puzzle-like aspect are great! All that are really needed are some upgraded graphics and SFX and this would be wonderful! Also maybe some more difficult levels, I was enjoying myself and want some more stuff to play with :)
