This is certainly a good concept, however it could have been improved with some form of jump or way to reduce the chance of being unable to travel between platforms.

@chargrills21 I think it definitely needs better movement, for sure. A jump, and a limited dash would have made it a lot more fun to play.
Thank you for playing.
This remines me a great deal of Marble Blast Ultra, one of my favorite games of all time! I love the concept!
Nice job!
This looks really good! Not to sound like a broken record but I agree that a jump would make all the difference.
@ideaspersecond @spice-cabinet Thank you for playing. I keep coming back to this marble idea so maybe I will have to add a jump.
Super monkey ball meets No Man's Sky! The controls are ok, I missed being able to jump (I always had to wait for my terrain to get bigger to move on) and some more variety of moves. But what I missed the most was an end result of how far I could go, or an end point in the game. The graphics were great, and the game runs super light. Congratulations!
@very-bad-bunny-studio Oh yes, that is definitely what was needed in order to make it complete. I'll probably add that right after voting is done.
I really appreciated the music volume knob at the start. Was fun but was hoping to see some more variation in the course. There were a few times that I was able to fall through the collision. I think with a little more variation and that jump button, this could be a lot of fun to play!
@tcastillo I found when the platforms moved too fast sometimes the colliders didn't work, so that is definitly something I'd have to work on. THank you for playing!
Reminded me alot of the old flash games we use to play in school, healthy dose of nostalgia!
@hcs-hades That's awesome. Nostalgia games are always fun. Thanks for playing.
It was fun for a while! could be cool to have something to motivate you to go forward. Some of the bright meshes are not very clearly visible but that can be my display or a mechanic :) Few times I got stuck on the obstacle unable to move in any direction.
I would also really like a jump, but I feel that adding a distance travelled counter and highscore system would be nice!
Graphics is good, music is really nice, gameplay is ok but a bit boring after a while. I didn't understand if the game is an infinite runner or not; if it is, a score counter could improve the game a lot. I think the movement of the ball is fine, maybe a little jump could help a bit.
Good platforms :D But it's not much fun because there is no challenge and I don't see my progress, it would be nice to add ratings or something like that here
Nice take on the theme. I enjoyed playing it!
I like the game even though this kind of random seems unfair from time to time. Would be nice to have a jump feature, i guess. Also it would be so fun if platforms twitches in sync with music!
I think a really cool addition to this game would be a distance counter and a high score I feel like trying to beat your previous would really encourage that one more try feeling. Overall great idea and pretty fun!
Good game, interesting but manageable movement patterns on the platforms. I think I did decently but hard to be sure without a timer or distance counter of some sort like others have said. A jump would be a good addition too, and would open up platform shapes and movement patterns even more. Enjoyed it, good work!
Nice game, looks like everything works as planned. A little annoying was totally unpredictable platform movement when the ball was already in the air.
Nice work!
I appreciate that the platforms are all distinctly colored from one another, there wasn't any kind of visual confusion for me on what I was aiming to do. Minimalism + functional graphics is a combo I like.
Agree with other folks, distance counter and score would be really cool, would be fun to post high scores and compare with one another :)
Definitely lives up to the unstable theme in a very direct way - those platforms are going to wiggle and groove in whatever direction they choose!
On the movement stuff others have mentioned - I dunno if I really want to have more control in the game's current state. Right now I feel like I'm sometimes working with the platforms (when they become a ramp for me) and working against them (when they make the hop to the next spot inconvenient). Having a decent jump would probably make the times when I'm working against the platforms more noticeable while reducing the need for platforms to help me out (meaning less "nice, good work, platform!" moments).
But it'd probably be easiest to tell during testing, I bet. Varied sorts of platforms and other obstacles might make more movement control feel really good, there's definitely a lot of directions it could go.
OMG thank you everyone! I didn't think it would be as popular as it seems to be. Definitely figuring out how to add that counter so at least people will have that after LD is over with.
Thank you again @mejzlosh @ranseur @firefly4 @antrimplato @sli @ashtheevil @aderpychickenstudios @landosystems @gucio-miszcz @doctor-zeus
I actually think the controls were great and I'm not sure you would need a jump. Some of the most fun moments were when I was cruising along and then end of my current platform dipped down, I had a reaction of "ohh no no no stop stop nooo."
It's endless, right? I never saw anything in the distance. It might have been cool to introduce new mechanics along the way, but the core was really enjoyable.
Really good entry! I think this needs a bit more of a scoring system, and some of the platforms were a bit hard to see (the details were lost on the white ones in particular), but I had a lot of fun with this game! Lots of potential.
Great work! :)
It is fun! I ran a long way, but it's sad that I don't know how far I ran.
I liked the game overall, a little more control would have made it much more enjoyable. I like the random levels but would also have liked if you could play the same "seed" as much as you want.
Good idea ! The game lack of highscore screen for example. Otherway it remind me the first UNITY tutorial too (with some amelioration). You can easily improve this one.
The procedural generation is cool! Nice idea. Would have been nice with a bit more game elements such as a high score and some more varied obstacles. Either way good job!
Great job keeping the scope small while being fun to play! It definitely lends it self to having a high-score counter for a future version.
@mhorth Yep, it's endless, and I never did figure out how to remove the platforms behind you so it's a good thing it's hard or it could bog down a pc eventually. But I'm glad you liked it.
@python-b5 thank you, I agree that white one is hard to see.
@sunnyrx Follow me, I'll add a scoring system by the end of the month I hope.
@robowarrior1982 Definitely used a lot of my early tutorial learning to make this. Thank you.
@gurbx High score and more platforms are the two things I want to add.
@nbumgardner Thank you, I wanted to finish something and didn't have a lot of time so small was definitely key.
I like the concept, but I found that I could mostly stay on the centerline and just go forward. I think having some obstacles on the platforms that you need to avoid or get around would help the gameplay.
