Very nice graphics and music. The tension builds well in levels 2 and 3, though I feel like the 4th level could have been harder. I liked how so many jumps were at the absolute max of what was possible. Good work!

Great platformer. This is a poetic reminder of how one day Yellowstone supervolcano will erupt ending all life within thousands of miles :(
Woah, nice idea, we're on the same page! Cute game, I would love the tiny "platforms" in the tree level to be able to be jumped on Screenshot 2022-04-04 081245.png. Great job!
What a fun game! It's funny that although it doesn't stray too far from the platform game formula, the music and art made me want to play it over and over again.
Regarding the code, I think some "quality of life" functions could have been added, such as reducing the sprite's collision mask, and adding a "coyote time"
Congratulations!
Really cool! Although I did not find a refrence to the theme, delay the inevitable. But it was fun to play!
I was betrayed by the egg, I went too far D:
This was fun and cute, great sprite work! The tight jumps in level 2 were a little tough, and holding down space means you jump again instantly on landing which felt off. Good platforming action entry!
@asmadigames haha, I was wondering if someone would actually find the easter egg. That was much sooner than I expected :P
I thought the game was well put together overall. It had nice graphics and sound. It was complete with several levels. All around very well done for the timeframe.
On the platforming front I thought it could be tightened up. The jump seems a little floaty. I would agree that its good to have some hard jumps. It felt like there was a lot of corner of one collider to the corner of another collider which wasn't my favorite. I think that is all iteration though and not much time for that in a weekend for sure.
Great job making a game in 48 hours!
Oh my gosh that intro, strong Link's Awakening vibes ! Graphics and audio are decent. Control are a bit weird, the jump mostly is very flaoty but you ade the level design around it so it works. The time mecanic fits the theme, though I think it's a bit punishing and doesn't really add new gameplay or desicion making, it made me think about "risk of rain", a cool rogu like where time affect the difficulty, so you have to decide if you stay longer in a level or not to grind. Anyway, it's a nice game for compo, keep it up !
Very nice game! Some jumps were a bit tight and hard to make right on the second level  Overall the jumping puzzles, the feel, art and sound were good and the game was fun  I was just expecting a volcanic eruption by the end but I didn't get one :disappointed: Great job!
I think the jumps and collisions were a little frustrating, but nice game :)
Fun little game. The tuning on the jumps felt exacting without being punishing. This sort of thing is hard to get right and you did it well.
Not gonna lie, I find the jumping control frustrating. Took me quite a while to time the jumps correctly in the second level. I like how it's designed, it looks like a mid 90s platformer.
Nice little game. When I restarted the game, I noticed that on the first level, the same volcano from the splash screen is in the background. This is a good approach to depicting the world in the game. Too bad I didn't figure out how to use an egg.
Really fun platformer. Really liked the music, obviously quite fitting for the theme of your game. I also found the concept to be quite fun. Good Job!
Lovely pixel art and cool music! For me the second level was the hardest one :) Also nice traps set up in the game. I was able to save the island :)
I really like the art style. Reminded me of old SNES and game gear games I played as a kid. The controls / physics don't feel quite right, but I think it actually still works fine because I'm able to control them well enough to do what I want to do. Could definitely see this developing into a more full fledged game if you put more time into it!
Graphics are nice and the core gameplay is good, however some of the platforming sections could go with a bit more balancing. Having more space above you so the jump feels like it's even possible is quite important during platforming sections, so it doesn't just feel like you have no other options and try your luck, but rather feel like the jump you are about to make is a jump that's possible to make, and a jump that feels mechanically good to do as well.
But I like the core idea, core mechanics and the graphics. Well done!
I like the graphics, and especially the different environments you managed to squeeze in. You don't often see Ludum Dare games with this much variety. Unfortunately, I feel like the levels themselves suffered a little as a result. They feel too short and straightforward, with the challenge stemming entirely from the fact that the jump physics don't quite feel right. There's definitely promise here, but the levels need fleshing out.
