I'll have to come back when ratings open up, this was really good! I did have a couple instances where my character got stuck in the road just to the right of the left ramp.
Adding rating! Very fun!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Never High Noon

Adding rating! Very fun!
my character got stuck too after 2 plays, but i liked the art and the idea
Super fun idea! First thing I did was try and shoot the gunslinger...
This game was super fun!
@sam-horner  I did warn you he's the fastest shot in the west. Thanks for the feedback, I'm really glad I added that, It amused me a lot for such a simple game-response.
I'm from China, but it makes me feel like I'm in the West! Nice work!
@yellow I'm from NZ so my guess as to what the wild west is like is as good as yours, I make no claims of historical accuracy but I'm pretty sure they shoot bullets into the sun all day.
Although we are not in the west, it does not affect our imagination of it!
Love the art style, and the game feels really responsive.
One small trouble I had is that if I accidentally click outside the game, I can't seem to get focus back on the game and WASD stops working. Since you're using Godot, have you considered using [`MOUSE_MODE_CAPTURED`](https://kidscancode.org/godot_recipes/input/mouse_capture/)? It might solve the issue.
Great game!
A great game to kill time. HAHAHA HOW did no one make this joke?
Great light effects! It took me a while to find out that I could get inside the houses. (Actually, I only found out when I lost the first time)
Congratulations, I'll download the code later.
Gorgeous! Creative take on the theme.
Hilarious take on the Theme!! Most creative I've seen so far
I  it!
Concise but not lacking in depth. You had a reasonable scope and did it well. Fantastic job.
Great artwork in a cohesive style! I'd love to explore a village in this style. The game was pretty fun to play overall, but my character kept getting stuck after some time playing, so the rounds ended because I was stuck rather than because the clocks/sun got out of hand. Also, it would be neat if there were some more intent/behavior behind how the clocks appear since it felt pretty random. The shooting at the sky keeps cracking me up. This is a very unique take and a lot of fun! Great work.
Great entry! The music was good and the art was fantastic! However, I got stuck quite a few times and all I could do was shoot stuff. The clock spawning I feel could have some logic behind them instead of spawning completely randomly. Otherwise fantastic work!
Great entry! I like the twist on the old west genre.
Absolutely adorable, hits it on almost all fronts, just made me feel waaaay too stressed. Love the idea and theme.
What a wonderful game! The controls are super fluid and amazing! The artstyle is spectacular! And a well thought out take on the topic! I did not come across the bug of my character getting stuck and had an overall very enjoyable experience! A great entry indeed!
Great idea and awesome execution. All the stars from me.
Pretty hilarious concept, and loved the characters and animation. Not sure if it was just because I was playing on a Mac, but it was very skippy which took away from otherwise a fun play.
Fantastic artistic direction for this, and a really cool concept. Fun to play as well, although I did get stuck at one point.
I think if you were to take this forward, having some indication of the clocks off screen would be helpful to the player and also instill a sense of urgency. Being able to see a bit more of the sky might be helpful as well, as the sun seems a bit of a small target at the moment considering how central it is to the gameplay. Also, the clocks chiming (I think that's what that sound is) as noon approaches are quite loud compared to the the rest of the audio and is a little bit jarring.
Excellent work.
Feels really polished! My character got stuck a few times though. I love the different types of time measuring objects. A flipping hourglass lol
I experienced the same issues as others are pointing out. I got stuck after a few plays. But aside from that this was a fun little game. I especially like the small details like the player switching guns after each shot.
This is so god damn funny!!! I couldn't focus because I was just laughing. That character and the whole backstory is just so well done. One of my favorite games so far.
Great art! The game is funny and matches the theme. Maybe the mouse moves too fast and sometimes is hard to target the clocks. Shooting the sun was a good point.
Nice game, I like the setting, it's a good idea.
Such a cute game! I love the concept, and the art style is amazing. Really enjoyable, great job!
Fantastic entry! Very nice looking, great sound, loved running around shooting clocks and the sun. One of my favorites so far! If you're looking to continue this: it'd be nice if there was a little bit of strategy instead of just trying to be everywhere at once haha
I really like the name, the pixel art was great, very interesting and unique concept. I enjoyed it, great work!
Never seen a game like this and it provides a very nice and unique approach to the theme. Great job!
@dan-livings Thanks for that feedback both of those are the sorts of "I know somethings wrong but can't put my finger on what" problems that I had during testing so really appreciate it. Indicators is a brilliant idea.
To everyone having mouse speed/skipping issues I believe that's the result of me misunderstanding how delta and mouse positions calculation works for gGodot in browser vs on desktop, too late to fix now but still great to know. This might also be why the player input stops working on occasion, or when you get windmill arms (although nobody's said they've seen that one yet).
@jordwest is right on the money with MOUSE_MODE_CAPTURED, I completely forgot to do anything with it and it probably would have helped a lot to avoid a lot of this.
It was a fun experience running around shooting things. I must Say the first thing I instantly did was trying to shoot the other guy. oh well
Concept is great. Love the dithered sprite light. The clocks are a bit too unmanageable imo. An indicator would really help, as mentioned above.
This was great and definitely agree with all the positive feedback given above. My one complaint was that it was hard to tell how much time I had left.
Really like the dithered sunshine which is casting on the map!
Very fun game ! My first reflex was to shoot the sheriff, which was not a great idea XD
I absolutely love the concept! Really fun game.
This game is so funny! Really liked it!
Fun concept! Loved the graphical effects!
Unfortunately, my character also got stuck part-way through the game.
Nice job overall!
Nice! The graphics are very good. I found the idea of shooting the sun in order to stop it from setting hilarious. Big dub imo
Really nice graphics and concept! I've always wanted to shoot the sun in a video game!
A clever and fun entry. Loved the visual execution of the light from the sun, looks really interesting. The result of shooting the gunslinger made me laugh :D
so good! the guy is so panicking he's even shooting the god damn sun :') this is one of the best entries I've played so far :)
The concept and execution for the game were really well done. The graphics, audio and gameplay all worked well with each other to increase the experience.
The only thing I could point out is if you could've hidden the mouse, but that's just me nit picking. Also, it would've been cool if you could effect the guys putting down the clocks in some way like stunning them or delaying them from putting down more clocks by shooting at them or doing something else. Really well done!
Annotation 2022-04-06 193901.png Great game and really clever concept! Took me a little while to realize I could leave the street as my character kept getting hung up but when I did I lasted alot longer. In the end I did end up getting stuck and was unable to move any more. Here is a Screen shot of the location and I am running on Chrome if that helps. Once again great job!
I loved the feeling, visuals and sound. Gameplay was a little simple to be honest but the concept was funny and interesting.
Loved it! What an original take on the theme. These are the kind of jam games that stick in my mind for many jams to come. Well done!
Ha, great idea! I don't think I've ever had to shoot the sun in a videogame before. I like your interpretation of the theme. It plays nice, sounds and looks good. A really solid compo entry. Well done.
Good stuff :8ball:
Very interesting game which the player objective is to extend time by killing time. The pixel art style reminds me of an old NES Wild Gunman. I enjoyed the game.
