Great job! I liked the music quite a bit.

Great job! I liked the music quite a bit.
Great game, I like the look that you have going on and the protagonists running animation makes me chuckle!
This was awesome! I really enjoyed everything about it, especiallly the physics used for the movement. Wheeling around and jumping on plants felt fantastic!
Super unique concept! I have seen several tower defense games, a bunch of shooters, survive the zombies, and such not, but this is the only breeding game I have seen yet! Took me a moment ot figure out I just needed opposite sex of the same generation. I kept waiting for 2 of the same creature type to appear! Bravo
I will admit that I didn't know what to think at first. Then I started getting annoyed as I couldn't do any damage to the Mech. So I started again and tried another strategy which also didn't work. Getting a little bit more fed up I tried a third time with only spiders and crawlers seeing as none of the other units can a)catch the mech or b) do any damage. I still haven't won yet but realized that I have spend 30 minutes playing this which earns you a 'coveted' spot in my bookmark folder of games that I actually want to come back to. If you plan to do a post jam patch or anything I would suggest floating damage numbers to indicate when your aliens actually do hit the mech as I am still not sure what/when damage is dealt as it seems inconsistent to me. All in all great job! Top marks all around!
Nicely done! I enjoyed it, not too complicated but not to simple either. A great job on getting a good balance/feel to the game without making it too much.
As advertised it was a 2 minute adventure! Well done and I appreciate that it is playable in browser!
Decently fun I must say. I flew about did, some mining, found a cool star or two, Landed on a planet and finally found some enemies to fight but then after I killed the first enemy it froze on me (playing on Chrome). Seeing the colored squares 'behind' me gave the sense of movement and the controls made decent sense. I appreciated in combat that if I forgot to select my type of attack that there was a prompt! Only thing I couldn't figure out how to do was sell my minerals. I stoped at several cities and didn't see a sell cargo option. All in all I enjoyed the concept and think you did a great job.
Fantastic concept and I have almost gotten an orb so many times but the mobs always crowd in and kill my roads and despawn the retriever unit. I really like the original Warcraft/Starcraft vibes the game gives. It is one of the few I have bookmarked to come back to a play again. Any tips by the way on selecting the buildings to assign units? The one struggle I had was 'grabbing' the building as it would try and just build whatever I had last selected.
This game is super addicting. The soundtrack is super catchy and yet strikes that balance of not being dominating. The game mechanics are nice and I can see that you have the space for power ups and such not. Some fine tuning to catch all the little odds and ends that get cut during the jam (our 'cutting room floor' is littered with ideas) and this this would be perfect for a mobile game so I can procrastinate anywhere! Also what is this bubble.io that you built the game on?
score.png Challenge accepted. @cyzaine and our team tried a combat card game mechanic in our first game jam game and this brings me back!
Well done, I quite enjoyed the hand drawn graphics!
This was fantastic! Simple controls and playable in browswer which is always a plus in my BookAnnotation 2022-04-06 203433.png This pop up threw me for as I reflexively moved my cursor to close it so bravo!
Annotation 2022-04-06 183851.png well done! Pretty enjoyable for a typing game! I don't normally have to think about where the keys are but when you put it in a game I suddenly cannot remember where to place my fingers! Really brings me back to my "Mavis Beacon teaches typing" days!
Nice concept and great execution! Tower defense games are some of my favorite games to just pick up and play. If you all plan on building this out the two things that I think would be nice is to have the turrets and radar display their range when choosing where to place them and the option to destroy a unit if you want to swap it with something else. Pretty awesome what you all got done in the time frame!

Well done! Great graphics, gameplay, and Audio! I appreciated the tl:dr at the end of the tutorial as tbh I didn't exactly read it super well. I feel like the balance between map size, movement speed, and enemy speed/aggression was perfectly done!
As Cyzaine said above: Go team Godot!
Well done to all of you. A pretty cleaver take on the theme with the assembly line and racing a robot. I was able to speed up a little bit as I got the feel for the part and what slots they fit in, although I never quite got the hang of the black angular one, yet stil felt tension once the robot appeared. I appreciate that while it looks like it is going quite fast, it is in fact not at first!
Well done! It was nice to play a quick paced game!
Great game to you all! The time manipulation on movement was very clever!
Nicely done! I really enjoyed the voice acting that you had in the game. The bit about "the more you add the faster the vortex is shrinking... but don't stop now cause Science" was pretty great in my opinion. Nicely polished submission!
Brilliant game. Superb style and pace to everything. I especially loved the 'Hints' some of which clearly are not right and some which are! Congrats on a job well done.
Annotation 2022-04-06 193901.png Great game and really clever concept! Took me a little while to realize I could leave the street as my character kept getting hung up but when I did I lasted alot longer. In the end I did end up getting stuck and was unable to move any more. Here is a Screen shot of the location and I am running on Chrome if that helps. Once again great job!
@anton4ik-dev We definitely want to fine tune the dialogs in the Post Jam patches that we will do. We gave them a once over before release but there was so many things that needed to get tuned first! Thanks for playing!
@polymathld and @reneantunes we appreciate you playing! We are so pleased with the concepts and design that our artists came up with. I think all of us really like our protagonist Aggy's look and animation. The bunny slippers push it over the top!
@bamuko right?! The brain slurping sound is also pretty creepy when you get caught.
@malero thanks for playing!
Hey thanks for playing @tyrannas!
@plixel, @jivvy ,and @cover-club-media , thanks for playing! We do have some super talented artists that we are lucky to work with!
@davision Thanks for playing our little game and for the feedback. We are super lucky to have such talented artists with us! As for the Gameplay we are actually just talking about that now in discord, trying to figure out the first steps we are going to take post Jam. Keep your eyes open on our itch page for future releases!
@rawb Thanks for stopping by!
@the-fazzo thanks for stopping by and for the feedback! Keep an eye on our Itch page as we have a patch coming through to fix some bugs. It won't do anything for the sounds but we are starting to brain storm on the direction we wish to take the game. Step one is to fine a dedicated music/audio person!
@renge That is a pretty good idea for the full build we are planning. To be honest while we all have shared some things that we wished we could have/would have done differently there has not be a whole lot of discussion yet on the features that we would like to add to a full build. We do plan on getting the lights wired in, we laid the ground work for it but ran out of time, so it would not be a bad concept to have it push the monster to the corners where we can keep some shadows for it to crouch in.
@bios3008 Thanks for giving our game a try. We are really proud of the gameplay loop we came up with for the jam. There is always things that we wished we could have incorporated if we had more time or thought of them sooner. But all in all this was one of the smoothest jams that we had. @cyzaine was so confident in where we were at he went out for ice cream on Monday!
@quite-good If you are interested in further developments make sure to follow our itch page. All of us are pretty excited to continue development over this summer and have already started brainstorming features for a 'full' game!
@hawkin Thank you for your suggestion, I had completely forgotten that I was supposed to do that in our final revision before we submitted the game! I am definitely adding that to the to-do list. I also like the idea of slowly revealing the monster as the level progresses. We are planning on building this out over the summer so make sure you follow the itch page (https://zaknafean.itch.io/somnipathy-game) for updates if you are interested. Thanks again for stopping by!
@david-york The slurping sound is a good one. All and all we are pleased with the audio that we were able to pull together during the jam. As I am sure you know it had get hard to juggle so many hats durning jam weekends! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. We really appreciate it.
@alks We are super blessed to have such great artists on our team! Thanks for playing our little game.
Thanks @mavvy! We are pretty pleased with how the apartment came out. There are some plans to rework the size of some of the rooms but overall it is a great environment for Aggy!
@erkberg Thanks for playing our game and linking the VoD of it! I have been at work so it will be nice to be able to watch it and see what you think. We are all pretty excited about building Somnipathy out over the summer and are voraciously devouring feedback!
@4ahizon, @nsadie, @tulio, and @johnnysix thanks for stopping by our little slice of LD 50! Our artists are pretty awesome are they not? We are scheduling out a meeting to figure out a unified vision for moving forward as while we had a rough idea of the concept that we wanted to make, we did all kind of head there in our own unique ways. Going forward we really would like to be a little more coordinated. Keep your eyes on https://zaknafean.itch.io/somnipathy-game for future updates!
@potkirland we are going to tweak that in the full build out that we are planning. We will most likely have some dialoge while the monster chases you as it does build tension nicely. Keep your eyes on the Itch page if you are interested. Thanks for giving Somnipathy a play and for your feedback!
@jvdwijk and @filgru thanks for playing! We have often forgotten to put in some sort of instruction or tutorial type section in our prior jams and have suffered for it. The splash images were a great way to get the point across in a neat and quick manner. We appreciate your play throughs!
@chris1919 I don't know if you saw it but Zakahrum posted a DevLog on his design of the hallway. He designed it specifically so it *appears* that you can make it by the monster but in most situations you really cannot. Good work on his part! We are going to build out Somnipathy over the summer so keep you eye on our itch page!
@ronanrory thanks for playing! As for the content keep your eye on the itch page for more over this summer, we wanted more to be in the game but were struggling with some bugs that forced us to cut more than we wanted too!
Well done! Quite enjoyable overall and I appreciated that part of the difficulty scaling was the camera zooming out. I may have 'shot' myself in the foot as I was constantly clicking on my ship thinking that it was sinking, then moving to get the enemies, then back to the ship. It wasn't untill I got hit that it gave me a hammer for repairing (though it didn't seem to lower the level of water in my ship) and then it was back to shooting the enemies. Two thumbs up to you all!
Awesome submission! I have a fondness for tower defense games and this didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the concept of using varius dieties as a driving point for the campaign! Plus it is aways good to see another Godot offering. What did you use for the dialog section? We opted for Dialogic in our submission as we knew it would work well and free us up to work on other aspects.
Well done. I liked the overall atmosphere of the game and the mechanics. The inventory system was pleasantly uncomplicated!
Annotation 2022-04-06 192837.png Of course I had to try a game that also dealt with delaying sleep and I was not disappointed (much). I enjoyed the fact that the words needed to type were pretty simple and that you had some clues for the P??? hidden about. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to get past this gate. I tried the + for the warp but that didnt do anything for me (playing on chrome). If I missed something let me know and I will give another run at it and I will for sure pass this one to my teammates to try!
Great game! I really enjoyed this and it worked quite well on mobile as well so kudos for that!
So much fun! I do enjoy some macabre humor and literally exclaimed out loud when I saw one toddler dart for the road and one headed for the bleach! I was closer to the bleach than the road and hand to chuckle when the inevitable happened!
I liked the concept quite a bit. Took me a couple of runs to get the hang of it but once I did it was quite pleasant. I kept trying to get on log in the fire with another sitting right next to it, then light my torch and go hunting for more. Seemed to work okay until I got lost. Well done on your submission!
