Hard for me, I can move just 5m. Anyhow, well done!
Oh my god, the vertigo with this! Loved the mocking voice, the concept and the graphics. Nice and simple gameplay, but fiendishly tricky. Never made it more than 9m (the wind got me every time). Well done!
Motivating narrative! Now my mousepad has drag marks.
The naration is great! Game is difficult as hell. Is it possible to make it across or are we just delaying the inevitable? xD Anyway very well done. Keepr up the good work.
Love the audio work!
@cedric86 Thank you for your kind words! Yes, it's possible to make but it's intentionally set up to make you *feel* like you're just delaying the inevitable. That's also the narration's job ^^
@schirdev thanks! I'm sorry for your mouse pad :D
@silkmeloni Ah, that happens a bunch at the start. We kind of expected many people not to make it very far but it's certainly possible to get the hang of it. Thanks for trying!
@digital-bacon Yeah, makes sense. It's a really hard game. Thank you for your kind words nontheless!
So, you think you can make it to... So, you think you can make it to cross... Nah, i don't think like that anymore :D This game is hard and narration becomes annoying after 10+ attempts. Would be great if there were different voicelines after fails. Great style nonetheless!
Game is hard but fun and looks really cool!
Good show, only got 7 meters. I think it's kinda funny you can listen to the whole audio after dying, though. Crisp gameplay idea, works well, fun challenge.
Amazing concept and execution! The mechanic of balancing feels very real. The audio is amazing but can get a bit annoying considering how fast I died. Congrats on the game!
@sprunth Thank you so much! I really care about putting work into audio.
@kro yeah I agree. We kinda put all the voice work in within the last hour. It would have been nice to have more random lines especially early on. It kinda gets better once you get further every try (after learning for a bit) but yeah, having more variation would help keeping it motivating.
Wow this game is frustratingly hard. The furthest I got was 10 meters. Since I failed a lot, the starting "So you think you can make it across" started to feel like a part of a brainwashing session . Overall really polished entry. I especially dig the animations.
awesome entry! the narration was great and there were plenty of surprises! i was able to make it 38m. i only wish there was more!
Very well made, the naration reminds me of Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy! Awesome controls and nice visuals, wish I could come up with ideas this simple and effective. Unfortunately the furthest I've managed to walk is 12m...
@zachsbutt Thank you so much! If you made it to 38m that's already further than most people here. However, there's still a lot more if you manage to get further. It's hard though ^^
Hello! I literally laughed as hell because of the windows pop up. Its the same concept as a Wii-Fit rob game but in this one there a fun for being bullied.
@andrground If Bennet Foddy was really mean to you, this is what you'd get hahaha:D Thank you for giving our game a try!
@sagiii Glad you made it to the pop up ^^. There are a lot of fun little ways of tricking the player like that in this game.
"So, you think you can make it to cross, huh?" I've heard this so many times. I tried so hard, haha! I really like this game, the mood is on point. Especially interesting is the art-style on the character, is it a 2D image or a 3D model with a very convincing texture? Anyhow I like it
@katsuhira Hey, thanks so much for trying it out! It's actually a partially hand-animated 2d sprite that we rigged to get the smooth tilting movements. It's funny how most people are actually convinced that it's 3d until I tell them :D
This is the hardest jam game I've played so far, but it's okay. I was prepared, I was emotionally ready, and I was INVESTED! At first I could get no farther than 7 meters, but once I remembered I could walk slowly (very smart, me) It got way easier. As of 8:25 pm, my farthest is the 38 m mark. I am going to beat this game. I will update my progress as I go
8:30 pm, 58 meters....... you are a cruel, cruel person.....
Aka I give up here for now :) Super good game, I love the visuals, the voice acting is STUPENDOUS, it only get bogged down by its length due to repetitiveness, but... that's kind of a feature of the genre.
FANTASTIC job, immediately going on my best-of-jam list
@mopifish Thank you so much for the glowing review :) I'm happy that you pulled through and made it further than most people would. I'm glad you liked my voice acting, that was such a last hour thing to add (but we planned it from the beginning). Good thing we managed to get it in in the end. I also loved your game!
Cool challenging game!
Nice work! The game was easy enough to understand, but had some real challenge to it, especially with all the different distractions and challenges going on. The balance mechanic was done particularly well; it felt very realistic in how it was done, and it felt great to slowly master it. The voice acting was also an impressive feature, particularly for a game jam! I wish it'd insult me a bit less, but I can understand why that's a feature still! It'd definitely be a different game entirely if it was just encouraging me. Overall, it was a solid game, so good job on making it!
@cakestorm Thank you for playing and leaving your kind feedback! I totally understand if this kind of insulting narration isn't everyone's cup of tea. The idea behind it was that it'd contribute to convincing people that failure is inevitable (though in truth it is possible to make it and there is a win-state). I hope my recorded voice wasn't all too harsh on you. I'm nicer in person :)
The game was nice and the voice acting reminded me of squid from wys.
I was prepared to finish with the popup in my way. Got past that part, but I'm throwing in the towel at the second gust.
This was fantastic! Simple controls and playable in browswer which is always a plus in my BookAnnotation 2022-04-06 203433.png This pop up threw me for as I reflexively moved my cursor to close it so bravo!
@pickyburrito49 haha got you :D Thanks so much for playing! It's actually possible to close the popup by clicking on the x but it's pretty hard to pull off without falling to your doom ^^
Oh my god why is this game so addictive! Kind of the perfect jam game really. And that voice over. Bravo to you fellows.
LOL. Fun? I don't know. But I played it over and over for about 10 minutes xD Condescending in all the best ways lol. I had a good time!
I'm in love with the game! The concept is great and the visuals really pulled me into the scene (especially the hip action when walking). I played it for hours but still didn't get to the very very end - though I'll take on that challenge again next time I want to be high (up a building). The voice acting is very well done (and pretty hawt) and the distractions were generally well executed and creative ideas. Great job, pretty coolio dev team!
@puttiputt Thank you so much. Making me blush haha
Such a fun difficult game!!! reach 8 m after multiple tries. Love the audio but still want to turn it off after few times. Keep playing it till i reach the end!
I really love the concept of the game, really a great idea! I'm absolutely terrible at it but I have to admit that you came up with a bright idea, and well executed. The audio part is a good idea but the other side of the coin is that for someone as terrible at me at that kind of game, you will heard a lot of time "So you think you can make it across ..." in a row which can be a bit triggering after a few times - even if the voice over is really fine tbh. Excellent work from you all, gg!
By far one of the most fun games I have played from this jam. Got the hang of it after I passed the popup. The call almost got me, though the next change really threw me.
Great graphics. Game for the ones who love challenge out of nowhere and mocking. Sad that I'm not audience of such games. Great work!
I really liked this one! The narration is awesome but got a bit annoying after a couple of tries :D. The sprites of the player and the camera leaning felt/looked really good! Really good job guys!
@asukanami @mrpouletbzh @recyx yeah I hear you all! That's definitely something to fix in the full version. We'll just make the first voiceline play only when you load the scene initially rather than every subsequent try. It's not so bad once you get the hang of it and make it further every try but when you're new to the game, I realize that it's pretty annoying. Thank you all for the kind feedback!
I did fall. Over and again. Pretty hardcore. Simple but nice graphics, a simple mechanic. Good sounds. Well done.
Damn, this is hard, but fun. I'm a fan of the art style, this feels pretty polished for a jam game. I'm going to hear "So you think you can make it across?" in my nightmares tonight.
@real-flamingicecubegames Thank you! So, you think you can make it across?
A very difficult game. My record is 5 meters, after 10-15 attempts.
wow, probably my favorite game from this jam! took me a while, but i managed to make it to 58 meters. the graphics and voice acting were both great (although as others have already said,it did feel a bit repetitive at times). the discord distraction was funny as hell, the part after that felt pretty unfair to me though since there was no way to tell when it's going to start and end. i would definitely play this all the way to the end if i had enough patience lol CleanShot 2022-04-07 at 21.12.20@2x.png
A masterpiece, and it was to be expected. I recorded my playthrough and I'll post it to my youtube channel with all my other recordings : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcGSR_DYUY_BQIsujY2QXpg
I liked it a lot, I didn't expect to go very far but I actually got to 28m. I also thought earing the same voice lines every time would be annoying, but after a moment you're just too focused to notice. I also made a prtty good run while thinking about something else and not paying attention XD I was probably subconsciously paying attention.
@pipelinks wow you made it really far! Yeah I agree with the VO stuff, we need to make more random lines for the earlier events. The best way to behave when it's about to invert is to keep it very centered in anticipation so it doesn't throw you off suddenly.
@yaen that's what i did on that attempt, still was very tricky though, my heart was beating super fast when i did it lol
@pipelinks I kinda love that about it. You never quite know when to expect it so there's so much tension!
@bottled-up-dark-peace Oh awesome, thank you! I'll have to play your game later too :)
Hahah the voice acting, love it.
Fun little game, good job!

Ahhh THE POP UP WINDOW! The humor is fantastic and brilliant. I wish it had checkpoints, but I can see how that defeats the purpose. Really well made, and it got a good chuckle out of me. Great game.
DAMN this game is hard but addicting. Had to check the comments to see if anyone (if it's even possible) has gotten to the other side... shit is hard AF
@unitedfailures Thanks for playing! It's definitely possible - I've done it. But yes it's hard. I haven't heard from anyone else that they've managed to get all the way. I hope to see more people make it eventually.
I hate this game, 9/10.
In all seriousness this is a really addictive game and I enjoyed it a lot, like others have said I played this game for a lot longer than I expected, and I will definitely be coming back to finish it. Furthest I got was 59m but I know I can reach the end with time. The visuals as well suited the game, it was clean and simple, but I also loved the wobbly fluid animation of the character with the solid stepping, it was a nice mix that represented what you do and don't control well. Whilst I get that it may be part of the challenge, I will admit the camera had moments where it just didn't feel fair. It would be trailing far behind and I'd feel robbed, more than feel like it was something that was my fault. Overall thought this was really solid, and mark my words I will finish it one day
Very interesting game, very very hard but the narration is great, well done!
It is so hard! I like it, but I want to throw the mouse out the window
@mrscom Hahaha please don't. But thanks for trying! I really appreciate it.
@porcus-pie Thanks for pointing that out. We didn't see that issue, but definitely something to look into for the post-jam ver. Also very interesting analysis, I don't think it was intentional though haha. Thanks for playing for that long, and thanks for all the great feedback.
Damn man, if I listen yo your voice one more time, I swear that I will break my headphones. I don't have that much to say that was not already said, too difficult but it was a brilliant idea to add a narrative part to this kind of "mario party" game. Some kind of evolution in the dialogues could be amazing and would push the player to start over again. But it can be difficult to do that in a single jam. Good work though.
Pretty neat concept! The difficulty is kinda brutal, but still fun.
So you think you can make it across huh? Come on don't kid yourself.... So you think you can make it across huh? Come on don't kid yourself.... So you think you can make it across huh? Come on don't kid yourself.... So you think you can make it across huh? Come on don't kid yourself....
Very hard game, greatly carries the theme of delaying the inevitable, love the concept as its definitely an original one for this theme, the voicework is definitely a plus, even if the phrase "so you think you can make it accross" is now my MKultra kill phrase from the amount of times i've heard it, playable in browser is always a plus since being able to play quickly is half the battle with a LDjamm. overall definitely has merit and is quite enjoyable
I loved this game! :D Good job! At the first few attempts i didn't think I could make it past the wind, but I did! The narrative was great, and despite i heard them dozens of time, it was crucial for my survival :D My furthest attempt was 58m, but definitely will try later to beat it! Just hoping it's not a 1km run :D
@krisztian Thank you and good luck! It's 100m
Really cool game! I made it to 38m and then each time just fell off. I'm not sure why. Besides that, this is a really cool casual game. Maybe you can make a port for mobile and sell it on the appstore!
@renge what happens at that point is that your controls are being inverted for a little while. To make it past that point, stay very centered with your mouse and stable with your balance in the time before and during the inverted phase.

Still trying, haven't given up yet
@porcus-pie Congrats, nice indeed :) Keep going, you can make it!
So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh?
Managed to get 38m then kept getting pushed off! I enjoyed playing though!
So, you think you can make it across huh?
This is fiendishly difficult but definitely fun to play, and quite compelling (I kept wanting to try again). Audio and humour are great, and the simple graphics work well.
Nice game! Very on-theme :) Very difficult game, could do with a slightly gentler learning curve as a lot of people struggle to get past the first few metres. Pressing W just seemed to be a death sentence, so I stopped doing that pretty quickly.
The repetitive sound gets a bit annoying on repeated attempts, but I liked the cheeky things that happened as I crossed! It's very addictive too, a group of us spent quite a lot of time competing. Nice work!
Record thus far: 26m
This is so good! So addictive, fits the theme amazingly, and I can't get past the second wind... YET!!
I think this is the game that I've replayed the most so far this jam. I found that I got better each time which is what you want for a game like this. The style of the game works well and each obstacle is different enough that they don't get boring. My highest score so far is 58m
@leekanarchism Thanks for playing, sharing your experience and for the detailed feedback! W is mostly for those who are already quite good and want to get through the beginning section more quickly to get back to where they failed last time. 26m is a good start :)
@tim-leach Thank you so much! I wish you the best of future attempts. The game has quite a few more tricks up its sleeve ;) If you make it further one day, let me know :D
@decrementedpalindrome That's a great score, further than most people get! Congrats! I'm happy the game worked so well for you
This was really fun. I liked the vibe you set. After a dozen runs or so though it would be nice to have the option to turn off the narrator.
Enjoyed this one, hard as nails but the voice acting does the job and is pretty funny, though it does wear after a bit.
very interesting it reminds me of what i did with my team for LD49 - tight rope balancing also but with microphone controls :P hehe it's quite fascinating because it's frustrating at first but actually lulls you into trying one more time :P like I feel the mouse control is a bit awkward - maybe not that adapted - I ain't sure - something about it doesn't feel right - it's hard to pinpoint
now that being said the model & engine and camera management and everything is pretty incredible like idk how you guys made it but for a game jam game it's mega clean kudos to you guys, very impressive :D
had a good time testing it thanks, well done, and keep it up y'all :D

really fun game, the wind makes it really hard though. the voice a bit repetitive after failing over and over. oh and i love the camera, makes the game feel nice
I had difficulty in getting into the game because of the high bar in the game mechanics. Art is good and voice audio to belittle your skills was humorous.
