This was addictive! And a really good use of metroidvania mechanics.
I liked the level design -- I found each time I was exploring it guided me to see what I needed next, but didn't quite let me reach it without a bit more practice, which was very rewarding. The new abilities were all interesting and blended together well, and when I managed to reach the end it felt hard-earned (in a good, punishing metroidvania way :) )
I also enjoyed the camera-in-camera touch for the buttons, which was very swish.
I think I sequence-broke, however: I got the first three power ups then went straight to the end. I believe this is known as a "pro gamer move".
My only gripes would be: - Sometimes the hint box would cover areas of the level I wanted to see clearly, so making them fade after a short time (or hide) would've been nice - I found the click mechanic a bit awkward / uncomfortable to use in general whilst also platforming -- adding a bit more of a grace / buffer zone around the targets would have been nice (i.e. I don't think the accuracy required is very fun)
All in all really well made. Would love to play (and speedrun) more of this!
