Finished the game until the end. Fun game and love the art and music. I also like the concept of the restart in this game which instead of resetting everything, only the player doesn't get reset.

Also, I found 2 bugs. One is major bug, and one is minor bug.

I had a blast playing your game! I thought the retry and zapper mechanics were super neat. I noticed that the left wall of the level "nook" was missing collision, allowing the player to walk out of bounds, but that was the only bug I encountered in the entire game. Overall, it was a very good experience!

Overall, good game. Had encountered some minor bugs as already addressed by the previous players Nicely done!

Thanks for the reviews and bug reports, everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

@neithr That crash seems to occur when resetting without having zapped anything in the level yet. Looks like I missed something in the cleanup that happens when changing levels. I'll fix it!

@cameron-foster Oops. That level was a puzzle I made before I started putting together the story structure, and I straight up didn't adjust the blockers to match the tiles here. My bad!

really cool game, i have a real fun on it. the mechanics are clever and delivery right in time for keep the interest and makes you want to see the rest ! the dialog is cool too, add something, i'have be really sad at the end, when the "goodbye" is here. great job !

A very fun puzzle game, especially when the time reset mechanics come in. It's amazing how you can make pushing crates interesting again. :D It's also not too easy and it really took me some time to solve three of the rooms. The Slide level was actually the hardest for me to solve, so I already feared it might get really insane with the added time reset mechanics, but most of the levels hit the sweet spot and felt like a challenge without being frustrating. Only the penultimate level was maybe a bit too easy for being the last puzzle, and I'm not sure if I solved it in a way that shouldn't be possible as most puzzles before were much harder. There were no obvious bugs though (I played the patched version) and it felt like a very polished and complete little game in every aspect!

It's also a great example of how good dialogue can contribute even to a gameplay focused game like this. Most of it is basically a tutorial, but it's written so well and funny that I always wanted to get to the next room to read more of it.

Absolutely loved this! A really nice twist on a traditional sokoban which was really fun to play, and very well-paced -- the puzzles were well-engineered to teach the player something new each time.

I haven't finished it yet, but I'm _definitely_ coming back for more later!

One small nitpick: it would be nice to use WASD or a controller instead of arrow keys :)

I liked how you used the zapper mechanic in the levels. It gives this game a different feel from other puzzle games. The graphics look really nice too.

Fun game and I liked the time twist and story from Pinky and Greeny. Feels like there could be much more puzzles that work with these mechanics but of course with LD there is always quite a tight time limit.

This game is very fun to play, those pinky and greeny characters are fun, believable and entertaining, somehow I got a little bit attached to them =) I liked them both visually and what they say, their interactions are fun!

The style is cute (but the ant sprite could be improved), and the music was ok but maybe too loud, I also found it maybe too "energetic", "fast" I don't know how to say that, but it didn't fit 100%, thought it was nice!

The restart mechanic is clever, it's a nice use of it and a twisting one! It reminded me a bit of life is strange. The zapper mechanic is also nice. Both of them together add a lot of depth to the gameplay, and this game could be expanded into one that could be on steam.

That said, I'm glad it was easy enough so I could reach the end (I'm not very into this kind of puzzles), but I think you didn't get advantage of the depth of your mechanics. You managed though to well explain the mechanics through your levels (something I really admire), it's just that when I learned them there was not a challenge afterward! Also, the last level require you just to push 2 crates in an easy way, and was a bit disappointing!

Regarding the theme, it may be more about time loop than stuck in a loop, it's not out of theme for sure but neither fit that much.

I would have also liked to be able to change direction even if I was pushing a button. It's hard to explain but while I was going down I also pushed left but if I kept pressing down it didn't change the direction and was a bit annoying!

It's still a lot of work for only 72 hours, and it is very polished, so great work!

Loved the graphics and music, the two guys on the side were very entertaining as well! I liked how the color palette for the walls/ground were the same as the scientist thingies, really liked that attention to detail. Great work!

Great game! Definitely good use of interesting mechanics. It is simple yet has so much potential.

hadik 2020-10-14 09:39

Really ?! That game is really fun, good job.Partly match the theme, maybe next time it will be better..Average art design, next time will be better.Amazing audio, I like it, really.Overall I like you game, good job.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

Really clever game!!

I love the art style and the colors.

Top notch!

jam373 2020-10-23 20:28

The mechanics are incredibly smart and the visuals, sound and gamefeel are all really polished. Excellent game! Only nitpick would be that some levels I believe have easier solutions than the intended one via bodyblock moving a pair of zapped blocks.. Just shows how powerful and inventive a tool the zapper is!

deepnight 2020-10-25 20:28

The gameplay was really clever and I was always amazed by the new tricks you found in every single levels :) You also handled the pacing really well, as it never became boring at any point, nor tedious.

That's a great game that reminded me of TimeFcuk for the way you tell your story :)
