This is a great starting point to create something of really good. Work on it, add weapons, special items, sounds, background and a little story.

Fun game! I appreciate the idea, good graphics and mood. My record 1:36 :)
Davvero i miei complimenti.
Nice game, excellent graphics and style. The music is also very nice, maybe the level of difficulty is a little too simple. Peace! If you wanna try my game here it is https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/feed-the-fire-2
Ahahah, really fun! I killed him and saved my life! Good game idea and nice work!
Really awesome! Great concept, i loved controlling the environment instead of the ice cube! Good level design and the game is funny! Are you italian?
Ancora complimenti!
I died at the final boss, maybe a little too hard to defeat. The game has a good dose of humor and it's funny to play. A question, where do you get the name of the player and how in gamemaker? Good job man.
I finished the game and it was fun. Maybe you can try to do different paths on the same boss. However it's a good starting point for a bossfight-game. Good retro graphics and music! A good work.
Really original and fun! Maybe a little hard! But great game!
Oh my god! Really fun and full of humor. Great game, nice work!
Really good. A great entry for this jam. I loved the narrating voice and the mood of the game. Great graphic art similar to Binding Of Isaac as well as the voice. One of the best game i tried in this jam.
We made a similar concept. Great mood, very well realized! Nice graphics and sound!
Gameplay is cool! Really fun!
Thanks for feedback!
Really funny! Ahahaha and nice minigames. Gret job Bro!
You should develop this game! The idea is great! You should think about an ending and some more puzzles! A VR version would be cool! Nice one!
Nice story, beer, nice graphics style, beer, maybe a little short but hey, beer with a friend! :)
I went inside the star :D Beautiful atmosphere seasoned with a mysterious plot. I liked it!

Great graphic art, nice music, the theme is quite involved. I think it's a good game for this jam.
Really hard but also really addictive! My best was third level (or room). One of the best I've tried so far.
Really nice idea. I'm very curious about code. I used game maker studio 1 for the jam. Maybe an indicator would be needed to understand if we are at the end. Nice entry!

I think I set the record among the attendees! :D Simple but effective, it reminded me a lot of when I used to run over pedestrians in the first 2D GTA game! There are many games about summoning monsters, but this one has an original idea. Congratulations!
Really very cute! I finished all sixteen levels, and I must say that some were quite brain-teasing! Definitely a little gem, perfect for a jam, and it flows smoothly, leaving you eager to continue and finish it. Really well done.
Great game. Original, fun, well-made. The voice acting was really good, reminded me of the voiceovers in Max Payne! Funny and perfect for a jam! PS: I hate my office job too! :D
Really very cute, I made it with a minute and 3 seconds of time left after the third attempt... I had to figure out what was convenient to upgrade initially! Very nice graphics, well-crafted, and fun to play! Congratulations indeed. (Thank you for trying out my game live, the one where you have to summon the grandma!) :D
It's a shame you didn't have time to finish the project in a slightly more concrete way, because the idea was interesting. It reminds me a bit of that platformer where you could manipulate time to overcome levels, but now I can't remember its name. The style and gameplay are really cool, and I think you shouldn't give up on the project! Thanks anyway for sharing it even in this embryonic phase!
I had fun trying to get a good score! When I think that you did it alone in 48 hours, all I can say is wow! The gameplay works, there's a good level of challenge, and even an online leaderboard. Congratulations indeed!
A tower defense game built really well, everything seems to be in the right place. Very engaging, I've played many games but I haven't managed to find the right strategy to beat even one level. Probably it's just me not being very good at this genre, but I enjoyed trying. In my opinion, you did a great job.
Ahahahah that was unexpected!
I tried your game and I'll tell you what I think. The introduction is very nice, there's a true artistic touch. The game is clean, works well, and is cute in its mechanics. I passed both levels and managed to escape from the library. I'm glad to see it was developed with GameMaker, which is one of the first game engines I used myself to program video games. As I always say, in a game jam, when you manage to create a game with a beginning and an end and it's playable, you've already done great work. In your case, everything is combined with excellent execution and an intro that I really appreciated a lot. Congratulations.
The game is interesting, the mechanic of casting spells reminds me a lot of how stratagems are called in Helldivers 2. One thing I found difficult is successfully using attacks where you needed to aim well at an enemy. Then, of course, the time for Ludum Dare is short, so it's difficult to implement things perfectly! However, you did a great job in such a short time, and I think it's a project you could continue with!
The game could be very interesting if further developed, perhaps by adding character upgrades as you level up. I find it to be an excellent starting point to create something nice. Graphically, it's very well done. Congratulations, guys!
Truly, truly cute. I love the graphic style so much, and the gameplay is simple yet very effective! Really a little gem considering it was made in such a short time! Nice work.
@ategon Thank you, yeah, no problem!
@kanity Thank you very much, you're absolutely right about the table and various accessories for the summoning, unfortunately time was too short and we had to simplify! The summoning starts simply by clicking on the book when all the necessary objects have been collected!
I enjoyed playing it and appreciated the possibility of the multiple endings. The graphics are cute, matching the overall mood of the game. Honestly, it's a great job. The only flaw, in my opinion, is that the theme is a bit unrelated. Anyway, well done.
Despite the textual tutorial, it took me several games to understand the mechanics. Despite this, it seems well done both graphically and in terms of programming, and considering that it was developed in such a short time, it seems like an excellent result! Congratulations to the whole team.
Great idea, really clean, polished, and captivating graphics. The problem is that I'm really bad at it! :D I can barely play up to the Day of the Tentacle (there's the reference to LucasArts!) levels; the subsequent levels are already too confusing for me! You managed to bring so much gameplay and beautiful graphics in such a short time, truly excellent work, congratulations!
The idea is spectacular and original. The music is a real earworm and adds the right pressure while you're dealing with the keyboard letters and trying to read and respond to your partner. Perhaps there's a small bug that sometimes resets the timer even if you select an answer, but it doesn't affect the overall judgment of a game made alone and in such a short time. Very well done!
Truly a well-executed rhythm game! You've utilized the theme in an original way and didn't just make another tower defense game with summonings! Very well done.
My record was 22. Really very funny, the wizard's eyes make me laugh to death. In my opinion, you should implement a nice online leaderboard for the score and speed up the beginning a bit, which in my taste is a little too slow, but still, I appreciated it a lot, really good job!
I really appreciated how the game was 'packaged.' From the colors, graphics, and gameplay, it was an excellent game developed touching on a very important theme with a certainly weighty meaning. I managed to defeat my inner demons... but how many of us can do that in reality? Well done
A beautiful narrative, with a very nice style and also beautiful in its execution. It tells a story and has a beginning and an end. I believe it's truly excellent work and you should be satisfied.
I think I've finished the game! I reached 285 points and from a certain point onwards, no more enemies appeared! I really liked that everything in the game was related to the theme of cats, and I appreciated the graphic style resembling an animated drawing. Maybe it needs a bit of balancing because I found the cat with the homing rocket to be very powerful! A great game for this Ludum Dare, congratulations!
I've seen a lot of tower defense games in this jam, but this one is very original and one of the most fun ones I've tried. Well done!
A good game, I would have preferred to be able to choose the cards to include in the deck and maybe even discard some of them, but I understand that programming so many things is not exactly easy. However, you can still try to improve it because there is a good starting point! Great job!
Witty, fun, and with a well-balanced difficulty! I really enjoyed the level design with lots of hidden passages! I managed to finish it, but unfortunately my tea was broken! :D In the last level, I squashed the wizard so he learns not to summon me at the wrong times! Congratulations because it's very well done!
A short but very interesting experience. The mood is just right; it's not particularly scary, but you feel a sense of unease. I appreciated that you took the risk of telling a story and didn't just make another 'tower defense' game based on summoning monsters. Excellent job
Really very nice. I like both the graphics and the sound effects, very much in the style of 80s arcade games! The gameplay is fun and very well programmed. I enjoyed trying to finish all three levels, but unfortunately I gave up on the last one! A really great job, especially considering it was a competition and you had very little time! Making a game that has a beginning and an end and is so cute isn't easy. Congratulations.
A truly original tower defense game. Graphically well done and with excellent mechanics that perfectly match the theme of the jam! Many compliments to everyone.
Your game is definitely very original. I'll be honest, to overcome some points, I had to read the clues, otherwise I would have been in difficulty, but I enjoyed playing it. I had the desire to reach the end. The mechanics are really nice and innovative, congratulations on the idea!
Wow, a really well-made game! I really like investigative games, and this one is very evocative and well-crafted technically, graphically, and musically! I just want to know if there are real clues that can help understand who to convict, or is it just a matter of intuition? Anyway, really beautiful, congratulations!
It gave me some light Hotline Miami vibes, but I was disappointed by the boss! Is it really possible to beat it? Because I found it a bit frustrating... despite all that, I was having fun! The feel is really good indeed, the only downside is that I didn't find a connection with the theme of the game jam!
Considering it's a game made in just a few days, it's really nice. The gameplay is good, although I found some difficulty with character control and some issues with collisions. Clearly, these are all things that are hard to fix with limited time, but you can definitely improve them for a future version of the game. Nevertheless, I made it to the end and defeated the giant dragon! Overall, it's a great job with a solid structure and a clear beginning and end. Well done.
