Loved it! graphics are crisp, so are the SFX, I love watching my simulated peoples walk about in town and fight in the dungeon. (and mourn the dead) My only feedback would be that I didn't really need to swap or think about their stats, all I had to do was just hire people, send them to fight, get rich, upgrade buildings, rinse and repeat, without thinking about anything. So I didn't need to make any decision other than just press the next action required of me. Regardless, excellent polished entry. I don't know how y'all did it.
=== edit: I forgot to comment on the cutscene at the start! loved the fire and despair!
Loved it, I'm a sucker for isometric games. It wasn't hard to understand what I had to do without reading the tutorial. The only thing that took me a bit to get was that all units are neutral. (I checked after I realized and found it written in the tutorial.) Simple and polished. I love the fact that you added a computer as well as the option to battle another player.
Short, polished, good graphics. Reminds me of the good old days of flash games. Only thing I didn't understand was what constitutes an invocation and how many followers I would get for each brilliant, or good hit, but regardless the goal was clear. Also I feel like a more flashy feedback for brilliant hits would boost the game feel a lot.
Couldn't finish the skateboarding level because of a difficult jump, but I loved the game and the humor.
Innovative concept, slick graphics, pleasing color palette, good humor. First playthrough I tried to click on things quickly and being a yes man without fully reading and died to the psycho, lol. Funny how my game could be a fitting sequel to this one. Loved the minigames, the captchas always get me. Best game I played in the jam so far.
Hilarious concept. Perfect and consistent art style. Music got a bit repetitive, but that's oaky for a game jam. I'd definitely eat at Hellmouth Pizza xD
Though inconsistent, Sir Lancelittle's attacks are too powerful for a man of his skill level haha. I like the simplicity of the concept and the execution. The sound effects made me chuckle. Good job!
Short, simple and enjoyable, although for some pages it was difficult to understand what I had to look for, I had to go by process of elimination with help from the prompt on the left.
