Love this art style. Like a demonic version of the pizza minigame from club penguin. Only complaint is I was a little confused on whether I got the pizza correct sometimes, and if I got it wrong, what was off.

What a lovely game!! The art is gorgeous and the music is awesome! I liked making the pizza but it was so hard to make them quickly! Whenever I put the pizza in the oven I would get a game over, but maybe I was doing it wrong?
Great job on the beautiful game, the mood is perfect!!!
So gorgeous, such an amazing artstyle and audio was lovely
I was very confused at first though, all of my stuff was going wrong because I had a hard time seeing the "cheese". Loved it though.
That's a ***really*** solid entry. Stylish graphics and I got some really FNAF Help Wanted 2's Funtime Chica segment vibes from it! Master volume doesn't seem to affect all of the sounds and I got a lot of game overs for some reason. I really want to enjoy it, but its speed seems to be cranked up to the 11, so I end up just failing all the time. But other than that visually it's a job very well done and the game concept is really nice.
So fun, LOVE the art-style super cute. A bit hard for me but that's a skill issue I think. Fantastic entry!
THIS ART STYLE IS INSANE! Really that's absolutely blew my mind! Love it. A bit polishing in feedback and responsiveness will be quite useful, but I really like it and how you put it on the itch page as well.
The gameplay however feels a bit plain and unbalanced. There is no learning curve and overall controls are far from ideal.
Good entry tho!
I love the art style and funky music!
The timing of the orders was quite tough, I often couldn't keep up with the first order. Also I'd love to have an option to remove an ingredient from my hand just by clicking right mouse button for example - without the need to drag it to specific area of the screen. I also missed the circle to put an ingredient a bunch of times.
The idea is so fun though: when I got the hang of the conrols, the gameplay loop got very addicting, nice game!
Very cute cat! I'd want to feed him pizza on purpose! :)
Very cute and pleasant art!
Love the art style of this game and it's a funny idea. But overall it's a very solid entry.
Very nice! The art is cute and wonderful, the music is on point too!
The game from the beginning is very difficult, I barely had time to give the second pizza, the third was already short on time.
Despite this so, really liked it! good job!
LOOOOVE THE ART! Was tricky but addictive game! ..may play more later as it was very fun after I got use to it. could only get 7 pizza in a row T^T
Very nice art style, but order pics were so tiny, that if was hard to see the ingredients.
Awesome art style and cute game overall.
There is a bit of a flaw in the design in that if you mess up one pizza, you probably won't have time for the next one either (since it was running out as you were messing up the first one), but you instinctively try to solve the next only for it to also run out of time and so on, it's easy to get stuck in this vicious cycle as it is quite counter-intuitive to let go of the second pizza as well and wait for the third to appear.
Maybe simply not having a second order appear at all would solve this as it's not like you can prepare or do anything with the second order until you are done with the first anyway.
I'd like to be able to draw the sauce in one go, think it would provide a better flow to the game.
Small detail but visually I think it would fit the style better if the customer sprites would just slide out the door instead of scale down because no other graphics scales in the game and it breaks the "printed paper" immersion a bit.
There could be some ending or increased difficulty as the game can be played indefinitely if you get the hang of it and it's never ideal if the player needs to let themselves die to finish.
More target shapes for the sauce or more sauce types would also be cool.
To add more variation you could have some special orders without cheese or sauce or "rush orders" that run out extra fast.
The paws could have a grab frame for pickups instead of dissappearing.
All that said this is a great entry and it made us super hungry for pizza too ^^ Awesome job!
I really like the art! (btw want to order pizza)
Amazing art. Amazing fun to make pizza's the clean pizza is smart and funny.
My timing is so terrible that I might appreciate a difficulty slider. Fun mechanics though! I love the art style.
Awesome game! I had no idea making demonic pizza could be so grueling and yet so much fun! Great job, team <3
Very stylish and cute game. I played with pleasure. The sound of the loss is a little creepy :D
Really well done on this! Super cute art style, loved the happy little sound effects, and really just overall like the concept of drawing pentagrams on pizzas.. haha. The ketchup sound effect is so satisfying.
I had absolute blast playing your game! Super fun. Love the art, love the music. My only point to improve would be to, as I mentioned, changed the color of one of orange cheeses since they are a bit too similar. Also more patterns of "special tomato sauce" would be nice, maybe different types of sauces? Anyway, great game, well done!
Really loved the art and general mood in this game. It looks really nice! I would love to see more indicators/feedback to what you are doing and what you should be doing, I felt a bit confused at times what I was doing wrong and how I was supposed to do things. Overall great work!
Thanks for dropping by my stream! <3

Suuuper pretty artstyle!
Thanks for joining the stream and participating! After you've mastered this game, you'll be a master pizza baker. I thought it was cool that you could handle multiple toppings at once. Congratulations on the submission!
Hilarious concept. Perfect and consistent art style. Music got a bit repetitive, but that's oaky for a game jam. I'd definitely eat at Hellmouth Pizza xD
I really like the visuals of your game, and the cooking mechanic was fun ! It makes me think of the game "good pizza, great pizza"
As a connoisseur of cooking games on PC and mobile, Hellmouth Pizza is quite enjoyable. Comfy music, cool visuals, my favorite customer; tentacle lady :heartbeat:, everything is light and humorous despite being "hellish". What I didn't figure out was whether the signs on the scroll mean something
Couple of things that bothered me were: - It is difficult to see what's on the order pizza while it is slowly showing up, but the time is already ticking. - I feel like it would be an improvement if we could place the same ingredient multiple times. - In games like this, clients usually wait in front of the counter as you prepare their meal. I think it would be nice to be able to look at those characters for longer than a second while they are picking up their order, because otherwise their cool design and art are wasted.
The graphics style is so amazing. Really wonderful game!
The artsyle is amazing in this one, really cute and charming! I like how everything looks textured and cartoony and colorful it's very cool looking, congrats for the artist for pulling this off!
As some of the other people have pointed out, it would be nice if the timer was a bit more forgiving. I eventually got used to it and I was able to make 8 pizzas.
PS I tried the post jam build and it fixed a lot of the issues I had, I enjoyed it a lot!
Your game looks really cool and the sound track sounds really good too! I was able to only see the trailer and listen to the OST, because I'm not running Windows. If you manage to upload a Webgl version please let me know and I will gladly give it a try!
The artstyle is very well done, I commend this game's artist for everything in it. The game itself was a bit tricky and took some getting used to when playing, the lack of an in-game tutorial was a bit strange as I hadn't read over the full web page beforehand. The short timer on orders and lack of feedback on what was wrong with your order was also confusing. Additionally, several toppings can look similar at the small size of the pizza request at the top right, which messed with me a bit. Once I fell into the groove though, it was an engaging game and I was kept on my toes to complete orders faster and not run out of time. As a suggestion, maybe the timer could start more generously at the game's beginning, then become shorter with more satisfied customers? Just a thought. Good job overall though!
Yay, a cooking game! \^v^/ This one was recommended to me as I was looking for cooking games this jam :)
First of all, it looks fantastic. The menu, the paw cursor, the ability to change audio volume (ok that's not visual but just happens to be in this list lol), the visuals and design of everything IN the game - just purrfect.
Music is fun, fits the game; controls feel smooth. You have to be pretty quick, so I am thinking - if I take some peppers, can I keep them in hand to place everywhere I want? And switch to something else then? (Maybe option "none" would be a necessity then though).
The summoning circle patterns on pizza is a fun take on a theme, though it took a second for me to realize I have to use circles as connection points. Not sure if you could make it more obvious though, might be a line in the tutorial, but I did figure it out pretty soon. Just took a few tries to figure everything in this process out before I could get to some more serious cooking :)
On that note, a few nitpicks: * would love to see a fullscreen option * it's not very clear in the beginning where to put the pizza, gave it to a cat on the left a few times then realized it's like a "throwing away" option and only then tried the oven cat ^^' I think just a few lines of tutorial at the start would do the trick: a few lines on the screen with arrows, saying: -> when your pizza is ready, bake it here to give to the customer! -> if you made a mistake, feed your pizza to the hungry demon cat! This will also give an opportunity to add a bit of humour and character in text <3
Edit: That said, I did NOT read a description on this page before playing, sorry ^^' But still think the advice should be in-game for post-jam (I played "jam version" first, then tried "post-jam" as well!)
@tucan Hey, we added the HTML 5 version! Check it out, please!
Love the presentation and style and appreciate all the tutorial animations in the description - I still had a tough time figuring out the interactions unfortunately, part of the puzzle (?) but my brain don't work good right
Html version works great on android! (maybe that caused some interaction issues...)
@funnypumpkin thanks for letting me know you added the HTML5 version! This was a really fun! I really liked the cat paw! Also I really like how the music changed to give you a sense urgency when you are close to a game over! Great job!
Tip for anyone using the HTML version, do it in full screen mode!
Super awesome graphics and music! I also appreciate the urgency. Nice instructions on the home page too, well done!
