I had a lot of fun with this game. The combination of DDR-style button presses with drawing the glyphs works surprisingly well. Using a tablet helps a lot with the drawing, I had a hard time doing it with a mouse.

I did find out that just putting any small line inside the glyph shapes counts as a success, you do not need to draw the whole shape. This made the game a lot easier, but it felt like cheating :smirk:.

I made it to wave 16 that way. does the game have a final wave or is it endless?

Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to try to fix that "cheat" :( We had already spent lots of hours to try and make the system work, for the sake of fairness, we hope people will still try to trace the symbols ;)

Congrats on getting to wave 16 though, that's impressive :D

The game is indeed endless and gets faster every wave after a while. We wouldn't want Grishnek to ACTUALLY summon an abomination, right :D

This is great! Though my post-jam reactions may be somewhat lacking (it got tough to draw at around wave 5 :D)! Really like the animations and the music SLAPS! Bravo

No notes! The mechanics are tight, the difficulty ramp is intense, and the music is one my favs so far. Amazing!

I like art and start cut scene it's cool and music of course and gameplay it's really fun (but it may be harder for touchpad users, if you are planning to make postjam you can make penup-pendown button I think)

The drawing gameplay was hard to implement I guess, so kudos for that!

Maybe some more articulated sounds for the success/failure would be nice.

I didn't had time to enjoy the graphics because of the gameplay in the middle.

Tough game once it gets going, but really fun! I kept messing up the spiral glyphs, but I managed to get a decent score :)

Pretty fun game, I enjoyed the DDR / Guitar Hero type gameplay combined with drawing the glyphs. Pixel art was cute. A solid entry!

This was a great entry! I had a lot of fun, and the combo between buttons and drawing was nice. Sometimes the drawings were a little unforgiving :sweat_smile: Keep on making games!

Games like this are oftentimes my greatest struggle because I'm bad with rhythm, multitasking, and precision. The ultimate combo! Thankfully, it wasn't that hard after just a little bit of practice, and the spoooookeh music really helped get in the mood :3
