Shame about the bug (would love another try ~~if~~ when you get it fixed) but the aesthetics in this are great. The mechanic of picking out thematic objects in the scene and playing them as cards is pretty nifty - the whole premise is really neat. If you wanted to you could totally expand this into a full game (maybe you already have and we're seeing a slice of it?).

@smidgens Thank you for your kind words ! We just uploaded a fixed version. You can now play the full version  Yes, we have a lot of ideas to make a full game, so maybe, we'll see in the future
The card design are marvelous and the art assets are impressive. They are a feast for my eyes. The instructions within the game are well-detailed, but they are embedded within dialogues that appear too slowly. This might cause players who are eager to dive into the gameplay to miss some information before they delve into your mechanics.

Nice little game, i got stuck when i have to bring a soul because i had a card full in hand, so i couldnt do anything even throw it out I liked the card art a lot and the mood is oppressing and nice
(I played the fixed version.) The mood of the game is really incredible, and it looks very beautiful. It's very enjoyable to search for objects in the room, and the end of the game is very clever. It would be good to have multiple possible endings. The music is very great too. I would like to play a longer version :) Congrats to the entire team, amazing game!

Art is amazing, most beautiful game so far of this jam!

@Nomus yeah we just noticed that there is a bug when you first take the wrong object on your card at the final step, you can't talk again to the fortune teller ... We are going to fix that as soon as possible. It's possible to reach the end only if you directly take the good card at this specific step. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you enjoyed the game anyway :/

Wow! The 3D art, the beautiful cards… You really nailed the mood!
The web version still bugs out for me after getting the very first item, and sadly I also got a blocking bug in the downloaded version too (after I got the key in the card, I couldn’t interact with the NPC anymore)
Still, it’s saying something that after getting blocked twice, I’d still like to be able to see the ending of your game’s story. I’ll try it again when it’s fixed!

@ffenril Thank you for your kind message. Yeah it seems that some people still get blocking bugs. The game is working for us so we don't really understand what cause them for the moment but we're on the case. I'll tag you here when the problems will be resolved. We are also making a video walkthrough of the game for those who can't see the end.
Great work! Loved the art style, and the card gameplay was really inventive! movement speed was a little fast, and the sensitivity was a little high for looking around, but those are minor issues. Had a lot of fun playing :)

Bravo!
Amazing! This was seriousely well done! I was a bit annoyed that i couldn't change my card after putting it on the table, but as soon as a figured out how to properl play it, it was really cool! The music, graphics not the mention the ever watching eyes created a really great atmosphere, that made me wish this was a longer game. Great concept, great execution and great entry for the jam
Great concept! And amazing visuals and music!
I encountered a few bugs, some forced me to restart the game. But I played the web version despite the warnings, so that's on me I suppose... ^^
I didn't used all the objects in the room, so I wonder if I missed alternative ends...
Amazing work anyway!
Excellent game. Fit the theme well. Loved the vibe. Thanks for participating!

I love the card design and the overall art style of this game! The oppressive mood you created is fantastic. As a fellow developer, I understand how bugs can pop up, especially during a game jam. It's great to see you're actively fixing them and engaging with player feedback. I'm sure with a few tweaks, this could be a really polished and engaging experience.

Really sleek looking game and very atmospheric, I really enjoyed the experience. Sorry to hear about the bugs, but hopefully you'll take solace in knowing that people still enjoy what you made!
The art style and vibe was really cool. This has a good potential and could be a nice full game. Great job on this
Encore un super jeu, bravo à vous
Very good mood, and the cards had really a nice style!
I think this is my favorite game so far. Great art, great story and dialogues. I could totally image playing several clients in a full game.

@nomus @namnam @blaise-ebuth We upoladed a fixed version. Thanks for your feedbacks !
Some objects are useless, they're just here to add a bit of difficulty. Maybe in an upgraded version there could be different endings based on what object you used
Very cool idea and captivating story. Well done.

Wow, this is one of the best games I played this jam! It was so captivating and beautiful.
First, the visuals - they're truly perfect. It looks polished and well-done. The model of the card reader is 10/10. The design of the cards? Gosh, I don't have enough words left to express how much I liked it.
Then, the gameplay: it's the kind that I really love. A little riddle, a bit cryptic, but not too hard to understand - you pretty much realize right away which object you need for each step. With emphasis on the narrative, on words - it feels so enjoyable.
About words - I noted in the credits there is "localization". If it's a translation, I just have to praise it as well - the translation is fantastic! I loved how the dialogue was written.
And finally, a story itself - not too complicated in general, but with feeling put into it, and a bit chilling in the end. When I got the last task, I immediately thought of a mirror; at that point, I didn't notice it being in the room yet, so started to look around with no specific expectation, just taking all the objects in. And finding a mirror gave me that a-ha moment: oh, it is a mirror, and -then I saw the reflection, and then the last movie - you pretty much understand you had to trade your soul for the soul of your friend, but the game leaves you with so many questions - why was your protagonist willing to sacrifice himself? What happened to his friend? And what happened to his own soul in the end, did it get into the same place his friend's was in? And is the friend's soul now in protagonist's body? In my eyes, it's good that the game leaves you with such questions, letting you to build your own theories.
Little nitpicks: In terms of dialogue, I am used to having an option to make the whole phrase appear by clicking so accidentally skipped a few lines. If we could click on text to make it all be written-out at once, that would be nice <3 You can't exit the game after credits in any way other than Alt+F4, it would be nice to have an exit button, or let game close itself if you click on the screen when credits are up.
I really liked this!! I\t's definitely definitely one of the more interesting games I have played during the jam
The presentation is absolutely amazing and pretty insane for just 3 days!!
the models are great as well as the art on the cards I especially like the colors in particular, it makes the game really stand out and does a perfect job setting the mood. he way everything is set up form the beginning to the end is finely crafted to create a really intriguing and spooky experience. This is definitely one of my favorite uses of the theme form an aesthetic stand point.
I liked the aspect of using objects as answers for the riddles, all of them were the right amount of difficult, and the twist at the end was really cool
amazing entry!! congrats to the team!

@kanity @tetracold Thank you so much for your feedback, it makes us really happy !! And yes you're totally right for the dialogues and for the exit button it would be better. We're keeping this in mind for the next jam
L'ambiance surannée me plaît beaucoup.

Ohh this is absolutely insane! The graphics, audio, writing, everything is extremely polished. I love how efficient you were with the gam design, placing items all around a single room and making puzzles all around the dialogue, allowed you to really make the environment as pretty as possible. As others have pointed out, the text is too slow, but that's the only thing I can even complain about. The story and ending are marvelous, I especially liked clicking on the mirror to cast your own soul into the card. Really clever and impressive game all around!!

A beautiful narrative, with a very nice style and also beautiful in its execution. It tells a story and has a beginning and an end. I believe it's truly excellent work and you should be satisfied.
I dare say this might be the best game this Jam.

It was really a great experience. Every visual element is gorgeous, both 2d and 3d. Story is crafted beautifully and the puzzles are intuitive. The music fits the mood perfectly. One of the best in the LD55. Excellent job.
