Well I don't speak a word of Italian but I'm french so I manage to understand what was going on hahaha At some point I did use google translate though, especially to be sure I would understand the ending (nice plot twist haha) Loved the old school point and click style, the visuals and basically everything made sense. Really good job!

@pimeko Thanks for the nice feedback! we will shortly insert the English translation. I recommend you take a look again to enjoy the dialogues.
I thought the art style was fantastic and it was a nice coherent story. Funny and lighthearted. Found a few animation bugs such as the walk animation playing during dialogue but they didn't take away from my enjoyment at all. Excellent work!

OMG! These artworks are sooo coool! I love it! I'm a big fan of Lucas Arts games, I even put a reference to one of my favorites in our game, let me know if you find it. 😉 Thank you for your game and its homage to point n click!

Very clean & neat graphics. Also game the old click& point game feels, lots of nostalgia! Very well done! ^^

@tayteus @svenerik so happy you appreciate and that you caught the homage. Thanks a lot and will definitely take a look at your games too!
Thank you for briefly taking me back to my teenage years! Everything is in its place here - art, music and good humor

@turbolaser as you can imagine we are nostalgic too 😉. We did our best to try to reproduce something at least vaguely similar to the old games!
Really liked it! I'm normally not someone who plays point-and-click games, but this one was great. The quests were fun to figure out, and it worked well. Very nice graphics as well, and the story was well thought out and funny!
A personal preference for me would be if the text would appear faster. For me it was a bit too slow, especially on the longer lines.
But great effort people, loved it!

I really enjoyed the game, especially loved the humor! Felt like a love letter to the old Lucas Arts point-and-click games

I always appreciate good Day of the Tentacle esque shenanigans. Really liked this game and loved the graphics. As an adventure game aficionado, maybe the only thing I'd bring up is that usually you're able to pick up anything, regardless of whether you need it in the moment or not. Saves you from having to remember where to pick things up, and there's something funny about picking up a seemingly useless thing early on and only having it pay off at the end. To be fair though, you would need to add extra dialogue or tooltips to make all of that work. You guys did great all things considered!

@smidgens your consideration makes sense. We intend to improve the game so any advice is very useful. Thanks for the suggestion!

Cute little point-and-click, something I've always enjoyed. Liked the humor, and the graphics was really cute! Wish I could summon my grandma for recipes in real life :')
Nice cute little game, loved the art on this, so clean! Daje ragazzi!
Nice little game you've made, I like the art you included. I loved the jokes you added to the game. This game brought back the memories of the point and click games I used to play when I was a kid. Overall a very nice submission, good job!
VERY deliciously beautiful art, nice mechanics and super fun music! The game is great, had a lot of fun, great and kind idea :)
Perfectly executed!

Interesting concept, I was not expecting that ending lol
I really enjoyed this game, it was a short but fun experience! Getting that last candle took me a little while too. It reminded me of the classic point-and-click adventures of the past! I also love the fact that your character is so fixated on trying to summon grandma to learn the cake recipe, she doesn't even think that maybe this book could be useful:

Nah better summon her instead!
great little point n click with a nice interpretation of the theme. The atmosphere is very gentle, the graphics warm, a real pleasure.
Simple but enjoyable! I really like the artstyle here, it's very well done and charming!
The dialog was funny, the ending in particular had me laughing, it was pretty good ngl. I also like how the character ignores the one book that literally tells them how to bake a cake lol
it was pretty simple finding all the objects needed and it kept things enjoyable.
The only thing that could improve the experience for me is if the game had some original music but the music that is there is fine too!
great entry!

cool little adventure,i miss my grandma
Vibe points: 100++++ :100: :raised_hands:
The art and music... just perfect. :ok_hand: They set the tone so well. And overall nod to Day of the Tentacle feel... SO GOOD. Wow. Super impressive. That is so much work too. :open_mouth: Really great job.
My only notes would be: - Dialogue would be nice if you could click to speed up? - I realize for a jam timeline, this might make it too easy, (and maybe not enough time to implement) but I do wish I could do things out of order a bit. Some of the best things about those old games was doing the wrong thing, or picking up random stuff and the characters saying funny things about it. "I'm not putting my lips on that." etc

I love P'nC games, and Lucas Arts' ones are obviously my reference. And you did well to get the spirit of those, from music to humor, so it was very fun for me to finish this story - thank you for that, and good job!
REALLY GREAT art, fantastic. Click to speed up text would be great, it's very slow. Good sense of humor, solid adventure game!

I really like your game, the dialogues are really funny and well written. The graphics are really nice and I also like the music who perfectly fit the mood. Congrats
It’s an adorable game which looks really polished. Art style is charming. I liked the cartoony backgrounds and character designs of the girl, granny and the doggo equally. It’s a huge plus that the puzzles are intuitive and don't require pixel hunting. The humor is cute and the music fits the mood of the game nicely. I know it's a jam game but I wish I could play a much longer version. Excellent job!

I always love to see point and click games during ludum! The graphics are really nice and I love the homage to Day of the Tentacle and retro-lucasarts games like that! A fun little game, Would be fun if you expanded on it later with the quest to finally get the cake recepie!
I refrained from rating audio, as all the songs are pre-existing songs.
Great work!
Lovely little adventure game! Excellent visuals inspired by Day of the Tentacle style (nothing wrong being inspire by the best after all ;-) ) Perfect duration for a weekend jam entry. Nice story with a fun little twist at the end. Great job!

That was such a fun little experience! Even though I watched some gameplay on Tobugis stream, I enjoyed going through the game myself! The music is a perfect fit, and this is definitely the funniest game I've seen this jam ^^ I wasn't sure how I triggered summoning though, I think by clicking on the book in my inventory? I think it would make sense to have a summoning table where we would put all the items we found!

2024-05-01 18:37
@kanity Thank you very much, you're absolutely right about the table and various accessories for the summoning, unfortunately time was too short and we had to simplify! The summoning starts simply by clicking on the book when all the necessary objects have been collected!

What a lovely adventure game! I see you had maybe played Day of the Tentacle before  Looks and sounds great, and the writing is good too! I wouldn't have minded if it were a bit longer, but a lot of fun this way too.
Comments/small nitpicks: - In the beginning, I think moving "she is dead" to the next dialogue would have a bit more punch. - Would be good to have a different cursor or a highlight with the change room arrows. - Why doesn't the rubber chicken have a pulley in the middle?
Well, this one had a nice little dark twist in it from the start. The music was good and very fitting. It was a short game, but I enjoyed every moment.
Quite a polished game for a jam, loved the graphics! Excellent work!

It really fun! this submission is great! The audio and the graphics were really good. The only thing that could be improved is the movement, I really had to click near the arrow so that she goes to the next room.
