Really good game, but sadly its really short :/
@redkitsune thanks for your feedback! It’s a little esperience 😊 but we’re planning to expand the game.
I like the cartoony style, but like RedKitsune said, the game is really short, and I don't even know how I managed to fix the lift.
I really like the idea and the games humour is really good. It's super difficult to follow the lines, but it can be done. Overall a good jam game. Well done.
Nice art style. The main puzzle was really hard, but I managed to clear it on my third attempt by resetting the puzzle until I got one that is easy to read. Cool idea!
@jk5000 @boclow, the puzzle is really hard, it's true, but it's important that the bad ending is watched :D Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate.
@RedKitsune @kr0s i'm sorry for the length of the game but the time didn't help us and we preferred to tell a little story with a bad or a good ending :) Thanks for the feedback!
i struggled a bit to understand that you can click on screws to unscrew the control panel lid beautiful art, great idea
Great artstyle! A bit strange that you win by clearing 3 of 5 paths, since that makes it feel like the time has run out or something. Otherwise, a neat little game! Good job!
The idea is really nice, you can easily imagine other mini games that could go in it. It's quite hard at the moment but I could see the two endings! The game is well finished from start to finish. Cool short experience overall
I'd like to point out that if you didn't do the graphics and audio yourself during the jam (which is ok) it says in the rules that you should opt-out from those voting categories. You can ask the jam organizer by email to do so (that's what we did for the Audio category of our game).
Hi @thob! we wrote in the in-game credits which websites we got some of the free resources from, as some of the works are original. Perhaps it is more correct to specify it better. We will see how to manage it. Thanks for your feedback!
Haven't figured out at first what am I supposed to do. Cool graphic, nice game, just short.
Bit difficult with the wires but eventually managed to do it, though I gotta say I almost gave up on it. The graphics are pretty good, especially the backgrounds and props, more so than the character, but that's just my opinion. The voice over's quality is a bit bad but that's ok for a game jam game to be honest, maybe use a phone recorder next time if you have no access to real recorders. Lastly, it took a bit to figure out I should unscrew the screws, after clicking everything on the screen. Would've benefited from a highlight or arrow or even text, though I prefer to keep the text to a minimum so the screws flashing on and off would've been best. Hope you take everything I said with a grain of salt and overall I enjoyed it!
@ratface thanks! There are lots of things we can do better, so we appreciate your feedback! That’s the purpose of game jam...
After saving my ass at -200 Floors
Pros:
- Funky graphics - Actually quite adrenaline-based gameplay - Nice soundscape - It's cool to see your mistakes making the cables go random - I like Italian accent!
Cons:
- I actually didn't know what to do with the cables at the first glance, had to give it few tries
One thing I saw is that, you guys seem not to rate other games. I think playing other people games and rating them not only would be a nice way to checkout how others solve problems, but also to get more attention to your creation, giving you ability to reach more reviews and valuable feedback through Smart system.
Hard to say more, but you guys did a good job nontheless! Mamma mia!
Interesting game! I really like the premise, a good idea!
It wasn't clear what to do -- when I tried the HTML5 version I assumed it was broken, so had to download the windows version. Some signposting of what the player is meant to do would be helpful, as otherwise I wasn't sure if it was a cutscene or a game!
The puzzle is probably more difficult than fun, but the combination of the tension of the plummeting lift with a puzzle mechanic gives it a nice Stop Talking And Nobody Explodes feel which I think works well.
Hey man, very interesting game! Graphics and sounds are great. I think you should out some tutorial, I didnt understant what to do at first time. Also, its too short! I think the team should keep the work and made a full version! =)
A good idea with nice graphics and mood
So, how to fix the elevetaor? :D
Well done! I was kind of surprised that I did not have to connect all dots correctly, but only three. The losing sequence was funny though!
Pretty interesting game but sadly I found the cable puzzle too unfair to feel fun. Nice art and mood building!
Grandi ragazzi! Cmq ottimo lavoro! P.S.: Nuanda ti ho aggiunto su FB! sono Federico Distefano :)
I’d like to see the game further developed. Well done!
@sublustris Thanks so much for your appreciation!
@triastase true, we realized that it is a bit strange!
@mikoziq @leekanarchism @felo07 @kotzi your comments are very helpful! we will keep them in consideration for the next releases! Thanks a lot!
@mamon fixing the elevetor is...a hell of a job! :smiling_imp:
@tomz-best @gamescodedogs Thanks for your feedback!
:hearts:
It looks like 3 power point slides with very low interaction level, which you can achieve with sequential prototyping tools like figma or invision. It's a cool illustrations but I don't see any game design here:)
@mrcubix It is obvious that our game needs to be refined in detail, animations and interactions. Considering the limited time available, we gave priority to the creation of a narrative that could give life to a small gaming experience. Yours is a correct observation but a bit 'an end in itself. Thanks anyway for the comment!
This is so cool! Too bad it's so short :slight_frown: Love the devil! And the art style! Great voice acting
Here is my LP  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEfL6u31isU
@molpe Maybe we'll keep working to a longer/complex version! Thanks for trying our game and for your feedback!
I, too, am fascinated by this kind of cartoonish drawing. But I agree that using an elevator can be quite stressful. Quite a large percentage of people get into situations where an elevator malfunction can lead to injury or serious consequences. So to keep you out of such situations, you need to take care of the appearance and the technical part. If you have not checked the correctness of the mechanisms for a long time, you may need https://hinchong.com/. I think it is not such a difficult task, but it will provide you with full safety.
