This is for Jericho, would be nice to see where the shots are / going.

foxor 2015-08-24 05:01

The ending was a bit uncomfortable.

mikelovesrobots3 2015-08-24 05:03

Nice. I loved the ending.

jmguillemette 2015-08-24 05:08

nice carpet graphics!

panda 2015-08-24 05:10

Haha, very topical! Excellent take on the theme, and I actually really liked the graphics! I was surprised you even took the time to model the whole office! The game could use some sound effects, though.

markoburzan27 2015-08-24 05:10

nice.

andyman404 2015-08-24 05:16

Well done, poignant game, even for programmer art. Definitely a monster. Thank you for the game.

pusty 2015-08-24 05:57

I really like this theme! :D

hunttis 2015-08-24 06:04

Never mind the graphics or the length, I think the ending was perfect. You got the theme excellently there. Great job!

wavertron 2015-08-24 06:35

Heheh, ya know I had thought of a Hunter game too at one point, very topical. Despite the basic graphics, I found it kinda fun chasing that lion around. Damn hard to aim though. Would have been great if you stuck some trees in there for the lion to hide in, and made the lion leave footprints, then there would be more of a hunting aspect.

evergreen-games-ludum-dare 2015-08-24 06:36

Whoah that ending. i sort of knew it was coming but i still feel bad.

nonentheless 2015-08-24 06:37

I actually like the lion model ;)

gafblizzard 2015-08-24 06:52

Shiny! Crosshairs would be nice, though eventually I kind of figured out that the middle of the screen at point blank range would work.

peterthehe 2015-08-24 09:58

YEAH, where do the shots go

mrdave 2015-08-24 17:30

I liked the lighting/shadow.

You shouldn’t have called your art crude because I thought things like the lion were well proportioned and intentionally made to look that way.

I enjoyed this entry, good job!

adrenalinechallenger 2015-08-24 17:31

Good short game.

mrjorts 2015-08-24 17:44

Nice topical game. It's quite hard to aim the gun, though. I really liked the lion model.

snooze82 2015-08-24 19:27

I thought, I would play the monster? But I could not control the lion :( (just joking)

imdigitaljim 2015-08-24 19:28

I liked it! Good submission. reminds me of like the hunting part of oregon trail, which was debatably the best part! Dentist Simulator 2015 for current events too :P

The fade to black was a little cheesy. Not sure what the tone of the game was meant to be, but a geometrically simple lion flying into the air and rotating like a can you shoot with an air rifle is hilarious. Lion model was qt.

alexlamarche 2015-08-24 21:42

Good game. Reminds me of that guy who everyone hates for killing that lion... Probably reminds everyone of him.

leekanarchism 2015-08-24 21:54

Topical!

I thought the simple geometric style worked pretty well.

I think the ending could've maybe gone on a bit longer, and punished the player more for killing the lion.

lowercaserho 2015-08-24 21:56

I could see the ending coming a mile off, but I actually enjoyed the hunting part of this. Getting vision from high ground, and actually having to not shoot even when you can were both welcome inclusions.

conormn 2015-08-24 22:50

Amazing!

brainfreezeman 2015-08-24 23:40

It's an interesting take on theme now with all the Cecil stuff. The "crude art" as you called it is kind of charming actually, especially the lion! Makes me think of balloon-animals haha!

The gameplay was a bit confusing though. It would've been really helpful to have a crosshair and do know the range of the gun. A shooting sound effect would be effective too I think. I was never able to hit the lion, but maybe you can't?

patvanmackelberg 2015-08-25 00:36

Lol! Good stuff.

boskosokolov 2015-08-25 00:53

Not allot of gameplay, needs more.

hdong 2015-08-25 01:31

A bit weird but enjoyable

vividhelix 2015-08-25 03:24

liked how the lion went belly up. not a huge fan of the ending. solid entry otherwise, short and memorable!

rattower 2015-08-27 00:15

If you put your movement code into FixedUpdate() instead of Update() you won't have this weird jiggle on collisions (FixedUpdate() is synchronized with Unity's physics engine).
Anyway, nice.

hamsternator 2015-08-27 17:32

You nailed this jams theme with at least a whole box of nails '^^

valid4life 2015-08-29 19:30

Aiming was a little difficult and I took a while to find the lion for some reason.
Interesting take on the theme

handkor 2015-09-03 23:58

Well this was topical. Good job.

ponywolf 2015-09-14 16:52

I actually like the graphics.
