Great game, even if it's very simple I enjoyed the gameplay so far, the idea it's very original and entertaining.

Took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but what a cool twist on a bullet-hell game! And the planet was so cute the way it moved! I'm glad they're having fun while I'm SAVING THEIR BUTT FROM DESTRUCTION haha

Wow, visually it looks very cool!

Very cool looking game!

Gameplay is good, but too hard (at least for me). With a smaller hitbox on the planet, it would maybe work better.

Good job!

It's a really good, simple and effective game. Who would have tought that with so little you would withdraw my first 5*/5* ratings. How did you made the ball animation? You simulated 2D with a 3D ball or is it just programming? I only wish the spaceship was faster for more cheeky action, It looks like just 15 score is unachivable already, my highscore was 11 and at 10 you will certainly have low life. The auto aim+shoot made the game better than i was expecting. Nice work!

It's a simple but very engaging idea! I enjoyed playing it! it took me a while to figure out that you could shoot the missiles though. Guess I shoulda looked at the gif a little harder

This is awesome. I think you truly captured what a Jam is all about with this one. You have a simple concept that is easy to pick up and learn, but makes for fun gameplay. The music is nice, and I love the overall aesthetic. Did you 2-D model things and crunch it down to look like pixel art? Or was it all traditional pixel art? The grabbing animation on the planet is extremely satisfying.

@zebraatomica the ball has two sprites, the circle and the face. So I moved the face back a bit in the Z axis and change the rotation. I hope my explanation was good enough hahaha

3ago 2020-04-21 18:14

@samsdevlog it is all real pixel art, but I crunch it down a bit too, Thank you!

abb1x 2020-04-21 18:15

Great Game ! The rotation of the planet sprite was great !

Nice game. Like the face of the planet and graphics. However the hitbox of the planet is quite big from my point of view and i can't just save it at the last chance. It could be much better if you will make hit box quite smaller. Good job.

Sweet game, simple and solid mechanic. Graphics and SFX are a great touch too! it did feel overwhelming as sometimes I didn't really have a chance to move my little planet in time, but that's okay! I dig the back and forth of playing aggressive and defensive aswell.

leekanarchism 2020-04-21 19:03

Oh gosh, what a brilliant game! A very simple mechanic, but well-honed! With very little instructions I found I could get a good feel for the mechanics and strategy after a few rounds. The music and graphics are solid. I'll be back for some more later :D

Honestly the is a perfect game. I love the planet's face a lot. The white ring is a great unobstrusive way to show health. Everything just works, great job!

aaron-taube 2020-04-23 21:56

The visual effects were remarkably polished. I especially loved how responsive it felt to tether and drag the planet, it was really well done.

Simple yet fun mechanics. Really like the touch on the facing direction of the planet
