Enjoyed this 1st person puzzle gem! Having to think about both space and time! Very ambitious 3D game for such a short time, and really good job to whoever did the haunting singing voice (did she do three songs?!). Though I'm not sure why shes singing in the space ship :smile:

emty 2022-10-04 08:30

@wildmusketeer This voice sounds somewhere from outer space. Maybe from a different time or even from other dimension. Tom don't know for sure but it`is make shivers down his spine

sageware 2022-10-04 11:26

This first-person puzzle was enjoyable. I found myself requiring consideration of both space and time! Very complex 3D game for such a short period.

emty 2022-10-04 11:30

@sageware Thanks! =)

benthetwoofus 2022-10-04 12:41

Nice Job. I understand that making this kind of 3d game is hard in such a time-limited situation.

Games that use Unreal engine always tell me that it's time to upgrade my 8-year-old computer.

emmatw 2022-10-04 18:09

Really nice game! The song at the start really set the mood and I liked how you used the theme to create the puzzles. Some movement in the hand would have been cool to make the experience a little more immersive, but really good entry overall!

picttarge 2022-10-04 20:16

Nice work - took some time to figure out if interaction was working or not (it is - I just needed to find a suitable object). Says 3 items were required to finish but only seemed to take 2 - but this was well done given the time available and - well - the hashtag at the end quickly brought me back to reality. Well done indeed.

hagamosvideojuegos 2022-10-04 20:17

Nice puzzle game.

It's a good proof of concept, maybe need more parallel puzzles to don't be stopped waiting the time too much but for a jam is well resolved.

Well done!

defilerzero 2022-10-04 21:01

Great little puzzle game. I was over-complicating it for myself... thought I had to recharge the battery somewhere first. (Or maybe I did, but had no feedback on it.) Otherwise, get work.

boxedmeatrevolution 2022-10-05 03:56

Super creepy! It would have been really cool if you leaned more into the horror elements, but its hard to do that much in a weekend. You can beat the game in an unintended way by jumping over the bridges at the end, which I did by accident my first playthrough. Wish it was longer!

nick-gozak 2022-10-05 08:58

@boxedmeatrevolution

Thank you for your feedback!

Honestly, we've planned to add this jumping element at the beginning of development, but it's hard to give the proper guide to the Player on what he needs to do. I know it can be done, but we couldn't figure out how to do it in a good way for such a short time.

Also, the game was planned to be longer, but we have only one 3D artist (@emty), so there wasn't enough time for him to make it longer as was planned).

As for the creepyness there was planned to be some creepy sounds (for creating them i've spent a lot of time), but again it needs a bigger amount of time to propperly add them according to the time-skipping concept, so each sound could represent certain time period.

nick-gozak 2022-10-05 09:23

@hagamosvideojuegos

Thank you for your interest!

It wasn't easy to plan these two rooms even with this small amount of puzzles for each. Because you have to think about the state of each room in three times simultaneously)

As for the parallel puzzles, you are absolutely right, but each additional parallel puzzle needs time not only for implementation, but for its planning as well. On the planning stage, you can't see exactly how much time each player has to spend, because you don't know how fast he'll resolve each puzzle. This is why you need testers in game companies).

nick-gozak 2022-10-05 09:26

@picttarge

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad, that you enjoy it.

emty 2022-10-05 09:30

@boxedmeatrevolution Thanks for your comment. Actually we added something to make it creepy, but for some reason the blueprint that toogles items between different times stoped working on those. We plan to fix it in near future.

someone 2022-10-06 13:41

Nice puzzle game. I really like the ambience. I feel the 10 second mechanic doesn't really work though. I was often just waiting for the correct time which was a bit tedious. Being able to manually switch may have been better, or just more things to do in each frame. You can also skip the charger by jumping over the gap to the door.

rekko 2022-10-06 14:06

I like the logic where things change on differents timeline, it's too bad there is not that much things to solve, but nice concept

nick-gozak 2022-10-06 17:14

@someone

Thank you for your interest! It's a pleasure to read, that you like it.

We are aware about the "waiting problem", parallel puzzles and manual time swithching.

The ambient is also in our improvement plan.

Our team will correct that in future updates.

nick-gozak 2022-10-06 17:15

@rekko

Thank you for the feedback.

We will add more parallel puzzles in future update.

sarah-alexa 2022-10-06 18:15

This was great! I had a lot of fun thinking about how you may have made it while I was playing and it was a great use of the theme. I would have loved to have been able to choose which stage I was jumping to and I wish the last room at the end had that door to the right open to have a little back and forth with battery management for the keycard and stuff but tbh that's not really an issue, that's me just wanting more which is a great thing.

I really liked the theme jumping between before, during and after disaster too and the environment all fit together nicely!

I played the jam version cause of the whole rating thing so I don't really know what you fixed up in the next version but other than me slipping around the ladder at first, I felt everything was very solid. I'm quite impressed with it all!

emty 2022-10-06 18:35

@sarah-alexa Hi, thx for your feedback. I`m glad that you liked game and graphics as well. We made that fix in hour after jam ended, and there is only some critical bugs that may prevent you from finishing the game.

leekanarchism 2022-10-06 20:23

Nice idea! I like the idea of teleporting between three timelines as a puzzle mechanic. The ship had a nice spooky atmosphere.

It'd be nice to extend the puzzles a bit beyond what there is so far -- most of them involve picking up a thing and putting it somewhere, obviously that's quite a bit more work :sweat_smile:

Nice work!

fgamer99 2022-10-06 20:28

I really like the modd you achived with that small amount of time. Good work.

sven-schoeling 2022-10-06 20:38

Good execution. The theme unfortunately comes with a lot of waiting, but with more time and polish this would be a great concept.

dreamerflow 2022-10-06 21:18

Awesome entry! congrats to the team, i really enjoy it, i like the graphics, sound effects and animation, the use of the theme is really smart and fun, this is my type of game, only a couple of collision problems but really impressive what you do in a short time, good lyrics at the end, great job guys, thanks for that experience, it was nice

woahitsjeff 2022-10-07 01:18

Nice way to tackle the theme! Loved the game very much because I love everything that is remotely related to space. I want more!! Well done!

dileriuml 2022-10-07 15:13

Nice graphics and mechanics! Like it

adecon 2022-10-07 15:41

Ohhh my GPU... Very good idea and mood :)

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:11

@leekanarchism

Thanks for your feedback!

We have a plan for how to improve and update the game in the future with more puzzles and mechanics. But it definitely will take some time.

The atmosphere also will be improved with the existing time mechanic.

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:14

@fgamer99

We are glad that you enjoy it)

It wasn't easy for all of us for sure, but we wanted to make not just a one-time game, but a game, that can be improved for something bigger.

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:18

@sven-schoeling

Thanks for playing our game and that you like the concept)

We are aware of the "waiting problem" and we'll make an update to fix it as soon as possible.

substain 2022-10-07 18:24

nice idea. Wish the game was longer :)

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:24

@dreamerflow

I'm glad to read your comment)

As far as I know, problems with collision will be fixed in the future update (they are already fixed in the engine).

I like sounds too) There'll be more of them in the future.

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:32

@woahitsjeff

We are pleased that you like our game) Thank you!

Space - is definetely the theme, that not everyone likes and we like, that you are one of them. Because we achieved what we wanted with this game - that someone would like it.

As for "more" we are planning to update the game with some more puzzles and features. Of course it'll take some time(

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:35

@dileriuml

Thank you! We appreciate, that you enjoy our game.

Our artist (@emty) is a talented guy)

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:41

@adecon

Thank you for your interest) We are definitely pleased that you the game)

Did you have some troubles with performance? If so, let us know in the comments. We will try to fix it in future updates.

Because on our machines weren't any serious issues with it.

nick-gozak 2022-10-07 18:44

@substain

Thank you)

It was planned to make the game longer, but there wasn't so much time to implement all that we wanted to add( We will extend it in future updates.

2022-10-08 02:50

Interesting theme.

What made you decide to have the time shifting go from Past, Present, Future, Present?

tanner-shelton 2022-10-08 05:42

This was an interesting entry! I liked the art and the shifting of the timelines. It was a really interesting concept and I liked seeing how things had changed.

link270 2022-10-08 05:43

I liked the theme idea and how that worked. The art and audio needed a little bit more work, and the story ended really quickly, before we could see more of the actual story. Nice work though.

nick-gozak 2022-10-08 08:10

@tanner-shelton

Thank you for your interest) We are pleased that you like our try to make a game)

nick-gozak 2022-10-08 08:18

@link270

Thank you for your feedback) One of our programmers had show me yesterday how he speedruns the game in 40 seconds or close to it.

Unfortunately, the audio was added at the very end, so we haven't enough time to make it better or to add more of it.

As for the art though our artist (@emty) have done a huge work, but we didn't have time to do everything as planned( This is also why the game is so short. There was one more puzzle room planned(

beep-boop 2022-10-08 09:41

I loved this entry, good job and I'm impressed with the amount amount of content you managed to produce in such a short time. The mechanic fit the theme well, but I agree with the people above that I found myself waiting often to cycle to the next timeline. Maybe a mechanic where you can reverse the order the timelines go in or grant more control to the player some other way would be good for the game? I think the game would benefit from the items tou pick up being a little larger or more highlighted, I had a hard time spotting them. I would love to see longer version of this.

nick-gozak 2022-10-08 09:58

@beep-boop

Thank you for playing) We are aware of the "waiting" problem and we'll fix it in future updates.

Items for pick up also will be larger and we'll try to make the room design more Player-friendly.

What about the "time-reverse" mechanic you mentioned - I'll ask our team if it's possible to do without rewriting a ton of code)

Our team is discussing how to let the Player control the time-skipping and we have some ideas about it, so stay tuned.

skel3ton 2022-10-08 19:40

I'm confused about the last riddle, I somehow did it but I don't actually see how and what the key was. I liked the spaceship setting and its design. certainly an interesting and original concept

alex-de-la-cour 2022-10-08 21:22

I loved this! All three of the time zones had really great atmosphere in their own way, the graphics and controls were really good, and the puzzles required just the right amount of consideration for a game jam game. A really good entry!

erlioniel 2022-10-09 16:48

Hi there.

To be honest I felt dizzy playing in it. Don't know what's in play - colors, mouse sensitivity, overall picture or something else.

The idea however might work, not sure that 10 seconds timer is a good for this types of games tho, since when you find a card for example it might be slightly annoying to wait until the right cycle arrives. However I see a soul behind this game, so good entry anyway.

reinhpash 2022-10-10 12:55

I rly enjoyed it, The puzzle genre is already a difficult thing, but is it a game with enjoyable puzzles in three days? just wow man congratulations

morc 2022-10-10 16:02

i really enjoyed playing this game :smile: i think the switch mechanic is very interesting. nonetheless i would like to have more player feedback :eyes: maybe some kind of animation for the arm etc. With a bit more of work this game could have pretty much potential

rjmarzec 2022-10-10 18:14

I thought this game turned out super unique with a great application of the theme! I enjoyed the horror theme for some of the timelines and getting some sense of an underlying story, but was a bit disappointed to see the game end so soon. Still super enjoyable and with some nice audio to back it all too. Great work!

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:12

@skel3ton

Thank you for playing) We'll try to figure out how Players can skip parts of the puzzle and we'll try to make puzzles more friendly in future

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:13

@alex-de-la-cour

Thank you for those words) We are really pleased)

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:18

@erlioniel

Thank you for playing.

Our team is creating a plan for how to get rid of this annoying waiting and bad-time skipping. We already have some ideas)

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:23

@reinhpash

Thank you) It wasn't easy to make this, really)

But it was fun to think about dozens of combinations, that you can make for puzzle game and how many of it is it possible to create in three days)

Essentially "How to make Portal without portals in three days")

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:28

@morc

Thank you)

We want to have more player feeedback too) Just joking.

You are right about animation and feedback overall, but it would be a big part of work.

Our 3d artist made a good job but it would take much more time to make more animations( We'll try to add more feedback for the player in future

nick-gozak 2022-10-12 17:33

@rjmarzec

There is a story in the game hidden so deep, that noone can find it) To be honest there were some audio tracks, that covers part of the story of the game world. But as other things they weren't added just because the lack of time(

Story parts we'll be added in future.

About the short end you are right too. Some more puzzles also will be in future.

muzakefron 2022-10-19 20:40

wonderful game!!!! also i loved the singing!!

kaylalalavalentine 2022-10-21 20:55

WOW these graphics!!
