Took a second to realize the mechanic at play, but was short. Could easily see the space for unique monster mechanics, but it's still a solid experience.
This game is quite adorable. I love it.
"Quick, just throw gas on the problem!?!"
Enjoyable treat of a game.
Played your game after you left a comment on our game, and enjoy the manager-able approach to dwarves mining. Congrats on the game, especially as a solo-dev.
I just want to thank everyone for the positive comments and the valid feedback. Just hoping that everyone is enjoying this treat of a game.
@xeke-death Gald you enjoy the style of the game, and agree on the feedback. There was a handful of polish we wanted to get to, but time was short.
@shaunjs Big fan of your YT tutorials. Glad you got to play our game, and had some fun with it. Feedback was great as well, and will keep in mind for the future.
@wolfier Thanks for giving are game a go. We did have the theme but approach player agency differently. And don't worry, I get jealous seeing what solo-devs can come up with in a weekend.
Nice simple game.
Only issue I had was that the musics sounded like was playing on top of itself, like when changing biomes one track should've ended. Beside that, solid little falling game.
Music is fitting and the pixel art is adorable. Was a fun puzzle of a game to play through.
Great concept. Thought the game was bug for a second, since the 2nd gold wasn't popping up.
Overall, solid entry.
Fun game. Got a high score around the 2600 mark. Driving on grass would've been nice (even if there was a penalty), and the controls felt funky at times. But not starting the clock until the first order is very nice to get acquainted to the controls.
Cute puzzle game, with a minimalist charm to it. Music was quaint and the engine sounds were perfect. Part of me wished for a few more puzzles by the time I finished.
I like the concept, and it got plenty of potential. Just feel like, receiving only one card does limit options as well has applying a heal before the hero dies (and yet still dies) is a bummer. A few tweaks, and maybe differing hero progressions would be neat, and you'd have a solid game.
Oh geez, this is a fun game. Cycling with crew members was simple, and an addictive gameplay to top it off. Plus, the polka is a perfect touch to the chaos.
Fantastic game. Love the concept of making your own rhythm obstacles.
Fun art style, but felt like I was missing something or the gameplay was too simplistic. Click on one place, then the next and third, then serve. It wasn't very engaging (unless again, I missed something).
Great tower defense. The little bit of deck building really adds some spice to it.
Adorable game and graphics, and fun incorporating other keys and mouse inputs through the gameplay.
Took me a second to remember what a 'latte' is, so maybe a menu to provide the recipes might help some folks. After I figure that out, it was a fun experience.
Plus, more food making game entries is fun to see.
Incredible cute little base builder. Great job and one of the best games I played so far. And the lighting, I gotta figure out how that is done because it looks amazing.
Probably the only feedback I might have is possible not have resources spawn on top of each other.
Love the chunky sprites and sounds, and a satisfying control of the character.
First, glad I'm not the only one with a burger theme. It is great to see how another person envisions a similar premise.
The music, sounds, and pixel aesthetic is charming. Their is a wonderful personality to the characters and the ingredients. The gameplay clicks easily, and the separate modes adds a lot to the replay-ability of this. Your team did an amazing job with this. I can easily see myself coming back to play this again.
Feels like a perfect little mobile game.
Fun little driving game, with a solid controls.
This is an adorable game. Love the little animation, and the gameplay is pretty quick to understand.
Super fun and well polished. Loved the combination with the theme and music tracks.
Has to be one of the best games I played so far this jam. The rush to quickly make a vehicle feels great, and accidents still are fun to see drive out, and fun seeing all the options available in design. Music and sounds are a great fit, and enjoy a good cat centric game.
Fun little exploration game. Took a moment to realize what was happening, and even found the flashlight after getting all the switches.
Great concept, and a fan of that low-poly aesthetic.
Fun game. Some sounds would've provided some nice feedback to the game.
The terrain interaction with the spells is a great touch. Manage to keep an area safe with a fireball and the occassional replanting of trees. Fun challenge to the whole game.
Absolutely love this game. Addictive and always providing that 'one more run' itch to keep playing.
A great and polished puzzle game. The overall aesthetic was perfect with the tone and gameplay.
Great stealth platformer, and awesome work from the whole team!
Love the chunky sounds and satisfying gun play.
You nailed the chill vibe and aesthetic to the game, but took be me a bit of trial and error to solve some of things. And not enough time to check through the computer for some on the solutions. However, the progression from easy problems to harder ones after the first few is a nice ease in of difficulty.
Love the style, as well as a good stealth game. Great work.
Great concept, and a fun gameplay and tone to the whole game.
Great little puzzle game. I was over-complicating it for myself... thought I had to recharge the battery somewhere first. (Or maybe I did, but had no feedback on it.) Otherwise, get work.
Your team did an awesome job. Cute look and simple (yet effective) use of the theme. Was an enjoyable time playing.
Neat little trading simulator. A short tutorial might've helped but started to get a hang of it after a few stops.
I enjoy that Klei style of artwork, but barely got the game to work (felt the click needed to be pixel perfect). And even with the game going, wasn't much there. Sounds very similar to @saintchristopher777 experience.
Fun puzzle game, and a really great concept.
Adorable little game. Took me a second do realize what the food was, my poor blue never got a meal.
Great concept, and pretty intuitive. Did get a collision off screen, but beside that it's a good time.
A charming experience, and the sailing perspective a great method of maneuvering the boat.
Gotta say, I love the concept. Will agree with @flanne, eyes got cross-eyed at times, but beside that it's an amazing concept. Just imagining it with a more polished playlist and a rhythm guide closer to the character. -drool-
A fun game with a very cute aesthetic. Thought it was hold the 'fix button' to repair, but then realized I could spam the keys.
An adorable game with a pleasant vibe to it. Good choice of music and color palette as well.
Absolute adorable little puzzle game.
Interesting game. Love the 2d/3d cutout style of characters.
A neat concept, swapping between platforming and dialogue. Believe I hit a bug once, died, restarted and only the title was showing on the platforming and no longer swapping into the dialogue portion. Bug aside, a great idea that made me investigate more.
The art is amazing, and the design in general is clear and intuitive. (Also, I'm sucker for a good nun design... it's a bad *habit* I have.)
Having a restart button at the gameover would've be nice, and was confused on if you hold A/D toward the wind or not for a bit.
@eerongal Thanks, and I think that is part of the challenge. Like being tongue tied but with your fingers.
@magus77 The timer is 10 seconds, so a burger every 10 seconds. It's a stretch, but it a satisfying premise that I went with it. And the music is an earworm for sure... been listening to it all weekend and now haunts my dreams. xD
Thanks for the early feed back from the you all.
@nullval It gets funnier when it becomes a tower of meat, cheeses, pickles and condiments. Glad you enjoyed it.
@slush Thanks. And yeah, was thinking about the middle buns option but past on it to avoid it to make sure less bugs would crop out. Also cut out numerous other ingredient items like bacon, veggie patties, grilled onions, etc. (Only so much over the weekend.)
@caerul @chase-of-bass @retrowillgames @goody @martin183 @valentinis @matt-ravenhall @neexor @fokaz @omphh @riphitter @r3d3r Just wanna thank everyone for their comments and appreciation. It's so great hearing that my game has been such a blast to play.
@nardandas Feels good when someone comes back for seconds.
@oakhardt I was really happy with how the tutorialization worked. Learn from another LD entry (Dwammings had no in-game tutorial, and it hurt folks experience), so made sure that it's important to point how the game works. And was debating on using 'C', but it would've been the only on that side of the keyboard. Keeping all the keys in that same region felt like a fun part of the challenge.
@jag Thanks. And yeah, played yours and a totally different feel (which is great). A lot of other food themed games have been entry this jam and all of them have a unique spin or feel to the general same premise.
@gonzalol Thanks for the compliments, and you're not the first to say that this is a strong contender.
Thanks for the feedback @sarah-alexa. While testing, my hands at times got a little crampy so the idea of accessibility did pop in my head. The idea of editable keybindings or mouse control were possible solutions, but would've invited a handful of potential bugs (and other design options). Limiting it to only keyboard (and a fix keybinds) just allowed me to focus on honing the game experience, which felt like the best approach as a solo dev.
If looking for how the experience might be like as a mouse focus game, check out [Fast Food In10sifies](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/fast-food-in10sifies) by @grau. It's a solid game with a good vibe (and needs a few more reviews and love).
@fuzzybut I have came across Miam earlier this week, and it is great game as well. They do they're own thing with the premise and feels just as fresh as mine. Also, check https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/fast-food-in10sifies as well. Another perfect burger making entry.
Great game. Love the choice of music and overall style, and the overall vibe of a chill restaurant. Took a sec to realize that peperoni were peppers and not pepperoni, I should've been a good cook at review my ingredients.
But as someone that made another burger themed game, it's great seeing the differing approaches to the concept.
Audio puzzle aren't my thing (cause I have no sense of pitch), but an enjoyable game none the less. Adore the artstyle.
That's a cute game, with a lot of fun anime references.
I like the concept and design. The music and aesthetic is on point as well. But something with the controls didn't click. Not sure if the Order screen is out of the way from the action or if the ability to grab multiple ingredients at a time, but wish making the sandwich was more fluid. It's the looking to the bottom and then going back and forth for an ingredient at a time cuts into any flow. Wanted it to click better with me.
Never would've thought that such a simple game would invoke that Itano circus vibe. OpenLeafyBillygoat-size_restricted.gif
Everything just fits in perfectly, and was a wonderful treat to play though. The graphics were simple and clear to understand. The music fits to look and aesthetic. And the difficulty ramps up just right.
Definitely lives up to the name. Fun game!
Only thing I'd add is probably a tutorial page telling how to plant trees and explain what each 'power-up' (like freezing the timer) does.
Rather enjoy the game, took a bit to finally beat it though but worth it for something that is a little hard sci-fi.
Something that might help is some player feedback in game. It took a moment for some key presses to register, and possible an on screen checklist of items needed for the ship launch.
A fun speed running entry, with a little bit of memorizing the map at the start. Solid platforming controls, good choice of audio, and fun gameplay.
Cheeky little experience. :3
Nothing like a typing game hiding in a fart joke and chiptune Dolly Parton. Hilarious game with a solid gameplay loop.
Fun idea. Some more feedback in the game would be nice, a little animation would go a long way.
Great execution on the theme, and a fun NES vibe to all. Did hit a silly bug on one level (2-1 I believe) where I walked through the exit and broke it, did just continue from the Level select but a funny bug.
The platforming is satisfying in this game, a little coyote-timer on the job would've put the cherry on top. (The big jump at the end of the first half level 3 require pin-point jumping.) The graphics are on point, and the character design is cute.
Love the game, but sure is hard. Highest I got was 22 or so. Great to see a shmup as an entry.
The art style is nice, but a variation of enemies would be nice to see. Snapper and quicker movement of the character would as help. As for weapons, once I realized you can't collide with the enemies I stuck with the sword and waited near the top.
Great design and premise. I always like a nice subnautical and diver theme.
Probably the most glaring thing I encountered is the collision between the diver and pufferfish is off, like two divers heights distance is a hit.
Simple and enjoyable, a nice collection of puzzles and very WarioWare-ish.
Cliquey cat chaos. A fun game, that is surprisingly bullet hell-y, like an Ikuruga that forces the phase shift.
Only criticism I have is that the graphics can get a little noisy.
Congrats on your first LD entry (and first solo as well). Solid little puzzle game, and the timer both helps and hinders the player which is a nice twist.
Solid little platformer.
Enjoyed my playthrough, even there were moments of waiting (like what Haotian suggested, a wait key would be nice).
Great concept, and very ambitious. May have enjoyed it more if there was a little tutorialization to help figure out the mechanics.
Banana gun goes pew pew. Fun entry and fun game to play through.
Great entry. A fun mix of Titan Soul and roguelike abilities. The theme is a little stretch, but adore the idea of powering up while the boss is monologueing.
If you had a chance to get some music and sound effections, it would've been the cherry on top.
Took a moment to understand the controls, but solid little lane battler once I figured it out.
This is a very challenging game, and also a very good one. The music fits perfectly, and the overall feel of the gameplay lands perfectly (even if I sometimes crash horribly).
A text based detective game is a innovated concept for an entry. Come of the UI elements seems to not respond for me, no feedback on what I had selected at the end. Maybe a little more polish, and would be a more interesting puzzle but it was still an enjoyable play-though.
Also, the embed didn't work, but the download version worked fine.

Was this game a fun treat, a 'speed farming sim'. About everything about the game just felt cozy. Also, comparing the score above, more points on plants planted is a good balance.
Only feedback I'd give is to allow the option of full keyboard support.
Unique concept. Love the gameboy look, but honestly had to stop due to the negativity.
Cute game with a cute character. Wasn't excepting a speed platformer though, which was a surprise. xD
