Loved to play it! Very impressed by the voice acting and the graphics! The only weird thing is when I skip the dialogues the voice acting will keep going. I really liked it!

clonze 2022-10-03 23:42

Voice acting in a game jam game?! impressive. I had some FPS issues on webgl version, i'm guessing that's not a problem on the standalone build. Nice work!

kepsert 2022-10-03 23:44

@clonze Haha thank you! Yes, our audio guys insisted so we can't possibly say no, now, can we!? As for the lag, it shouldn't be happening on WebGL either, may I ask what browser you played on, and did you happen to try an alternative browser?

clonze 2022-10-03 23:44

@kepsert chrome

kepsert 2022-10-04 00:12

@clonze Ah right, that'll do it. Chrome has some issues with WebGL games in some cases - it will probably work better on other browsers, Edge or Firefox for example

eerongal 2022-10-04 01:24

The art in this one is amazing! Everything works really well and looks great.

wrex 2022-10-04 01:42

Pretty fun! Love platformer puzzle solving, but F being the invisible button made some of the puzzles quite frustrating. I think I would have preferred to see invisible and dash as LMB / RMB. Incredible job though very impressive!

cornflowerblue 2022-10-04 02:02

Oh, voice acting in a jam game! I like how you were able to up the presentation-factor in this with a bunch of artwork and sounds. Puzzles were nicely designed as well. Great mood.

triangle-point 2022-10-04 02:19

very fun saw your post on the front page and knew I had to play and also no I could not beat your time

eoshadows 2022-10-04 03:53

Great game! It gave me Celeste vibes while playing. The graphics are amazing, and the levels are very challenging but still fun. My controller gave me a whole lot of problems while playing but that sounds like a me problem haha. The audio and voice acting were all very well done, and your response to the theme was really good too. Overall, I thought this was a great game. Well done!

not-tomo 2022-10-04 03:58

The levels were well-crafted and made good use of the stealthing mechanic. The voice acting was also a great touch! The logs added just enough lore to keep us looking forward to what's in the next room. Great work!

diego-teran 2022-10-04 05:45

Art, music, mood, and jump feel are amazing! I liked that levels had multiple paths to completion. Going to the end screen after every fail was a bit tedious tho.

projectcolorball 2022-10-04 06:22

nice platformer game! I got stucked at the stage where those multi-eyes dog shows up (try our game plz!)

coderaurus 2022-10-04 08:09

One of my favorites for this jam for sure!

I think you nailed it overall, it felt really polished. Points to every corner of the team.

Few issues I noticed. The audio and text of the records isn't synced. You can basically listen to it all, and then you have to scroll the text as well. So maybe clipping the audio to match each line could be helpful. Another thing was the laser lines. They blend quite well to the environment and at the beginning I had hard time seeing and reacting to them.

EDIT: The game could use some sound effects, naturally.

Great work, team!

defilerzero 2022-10-04 08:26

Great stealth platformer, and awesome work from the whole team!

stalemeat 2022-10-04 09:54

Very nice game you made here. Very polished and with some great VO! Felt like I was playing a game that took months to make. Impressive level design. The control was great. Had issues with some collisions (jumping on robots, touching corners, etc) but nothing game breaking. Loved the art and the color palette! High marks all around! Fantastic entry!

astrydax 2022-10-04 13:07

Absolutely amazing game. One of the best I've played so far. Amazing audio and art. Character controls are very tight and responsive. Level design is great as well. Very impressed.

wizzzle 2022-10-04 14:38

The artstyle is awesome

hekateras 2022-10-04 14:39

I really like this game. I didn't quite make it to the end (see later). The blend of platformer and stealth game is something I LOVE and desperately wish more devs would make, the stealth and puzzle platformer aspect reminds me of Mark of the Ninja in a good way. Controls feel pretty good (especially with keybinding options), graphics are superb as well. Music is really enjoyable and atmospheric. It all feels incredibly polished so far. I like the non-linear level design too.

Only quibble is, I got stuck in a wall while dashing (a common curse of platformers XD). ( See https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/392739131173896202/1026864721120460850/unknown.png ). I forgot restarting the level was an option so I lost my progress. But I want to come back to this game later.

kepsert 2022-10-04 14:50

@hekateras Hey! Thank you so much for the comment. I'm so sorry you got stuck, I thought I had it fixed but there turns to still be a few pixels when you dash that will get you stuck. Sadly, loading the game doesn't work in WebGL, it's an oversight :( Sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you for playing!!

hekateras 2022-10-04 14:57

Nah, you had the foresight to incorporate a restart mechanic, that's on me for forgetting it. Great game :D

bakemonomori 2022-10-04 16:26

Stunning animations and very fun gameplay, very challenging at the same time. Really a great job!!

andidebob 2022-10-04 16:32

This is a super solid platformer with a cool side mechanic. The theme is only barely scratched, but I will let it slide, because you made an otherwise near flawless game, with gorgeous graphics, an engaging story and amazing platformer mechanics! Really well done!

lex 2022-10-04 17:18

This is one of the fewer games I played at LD that I actually cared about the story. I wanted to know what was going to happen and it made me curious to know more about the world and characters. Level design, music and art were all great. Very solid entry! Congratulations!

misterstripey 2022-10-04 17:30

Yall knocked it out of the park with this one. Really enjoyed playing this on stream - thanks for stopping by and sharing this game. The level design was really nice and had me wanting to play more. The audio and voice acting were really on point too. This felt like one of those rare game jam games where the team really has it together and it showed! Way to go.

rookrules 2022-10-04 19:07

thank @kepsert @yirsi for being in stream yesterday, I got a chance to play this game on DAY 2 and special shoutout to @thestoff (someone mentioned they know of you in chat)

austin-sierra 2022-10-04 19:39

Nice work by everyone involved and great application of the theme

melektaus 2022-10-04 20:42

My favourite game so far!

Thank you for this experience  Unbenannt.png

ruruie 2022-10-04 23:12

Amazingly beautiful for a jam. The hitboxes got a little weird around the edges of the platforms though. Also sad I can't jump from robots' heads :(

kepsert 2022-10-04 23:18

@ruruie Thank you for playing! And I'm so sorry, can I make up for this by quickly releasing a build that allows you to jump on the robots? :D

somecodingguy 2022-10-04 23:53

really nice game, playing it later!

mavvy 2022-10-05 00:51

This is super engaging, I played all the way to the end. The production and quality of the production is rad! Voice acting, good sound design and a killer soundtrack, tie together a desperate escape from a hostile facility wonderfully. The main character's portrait design was giving me some serious The World Ends With You vibes, and the level visuals are some of the finest pixel art I've seen this jam. The levels escalate nicely and as a bonus, there's quite a few of them! None of them are so hard I wanted to stop, but none of them are a pushover, either.

The visuals sold me on trying it, but the quality of everything made me want to finish it. Definitely one of the best this jam.

2022-10-05 09:30

Great game, had fun playing it :)

harry-alissavakis 2022-10-05 11:45

Great amount of content and well-designed levels! The controls felt tight and moving around the levels was a bit challenging, but super satisfying. I had plenty of fun playing this, really nice work =]

rickylee 2022-10-05 12:53

This is amazing \o/ the art is amazing, I honestly cant believe this is a Jam game, very fun to play, well done team! ^^

rincs 2022-10-05 13:31

I need (NEED) to play through all the way to the end. I loved what I played and really want to know what the story is about and what's up. Can't wait. LOVE basically everything about this game. :3 I can't even imagine how this will be like given enough time to polish!

yirsi 2022-10-05 13:58

@rookrules Glad you enjoyed it :)

smilfred 2022-10-05 14:21

SO nice this game - a stealth platformer right up my alley  The game was very well executed and gave me strong Stealth Bastard vibes (which is meant as a big compliment!), very good job! I'm going to go play it some more a bit later

bongard22 2022-10-05 14:34

slimebro 2022-10-05 14:43

Very cool game with much content! Can't believe it was made in 72 hours. Also it would be cool if you could skip the text slightly faster :P

I LOVE voiceover in jam games. Really loved gameplay and graphics. Thank you for submition!!!

frogravity 2022-10-05 16:47

Really nice game! I loved the amount of content it had, and the story & gameplay were really cool. All the stealth puzzles were very fun. The cooldown between stealth activations felt a bit too long - it wasn't very fun just standing around for 10 seconds - but it couldn't really be helped with this theme... Other than that, great entry!

kepsert 2022-10-05 16:57

@frogman Thank you for playing! There were indeed some parts that'd force you to wait unfortunately, as I started building levels I realised how hard it is to build platforming levels that would cater to all audiences' skill levels :D I tried to work around this by adding additional routes at places where players were most likely to get stuck, but there are too many different speeds at which people go through the levels to get it 100% smooth sadly - I'm glad you enjoyed the game either way! I'll def take this with me as feedback for future level design shenanigans :D

finde 2022-10-05 19:03

I have to say you did an incredible OST in only 3 days. Best game I have played so far. WELL DONE! :)

kepsert 2022-10-05 19:09

@finde Thank you for playing! To raise you one better, I watched Mundo/Yirsi do ALL of the soundtrack basically on the first day haha. They went CRAZY and did an AMAZING job!

clonze 2022-10-05 21:17

@kepsert i found out it was a chrome setting. i think i have hardware accel graphics turned off for discord streaming

leorid 2022-10-05 21:50

Very cool game, but I didn't make it to the end, so probably a bit frustrating too with the waiting mechanic in some spots. Still liked it tho, very cute Artwork.

Regenerating air could be way faster than losing it (without violating the theme). This might help the pacing. ^^

ghostbomb 2022-10-05 22:48

The art is Very cute! I love the main character! I just wish hazards were maybe a different color than the rest of the terrain.

vkaike2 2022-10-06 00:23

The art was great and the audio too, the only issue that I found was when I was stuck above the robot because I couldn't jump.

rage-paint-games 2022-10-06 01:06

I really loved the graphics of this game. The pixel art and character designs were lovely (and I do mean the enemies just as much as the MC). Also throughly enjoyed the voiceovers and that you paired it with subtitles at the last moment - good move!

I noticed there was some forgiveness for the player around platform edges, to either prevent you from falling off if you didn't mean to or to help you get onto the platform if you just barely made it. Much appreciate this! I still sucked at some of the areas, but honestly I should have hooked up a controller to play instead of on keyboard. That would make it a much better experience (I have to do the same when I play Celeste so should have known).

My favorite part was the puppers. I want one. LOL

coleb 2022-10-06 03:44

Really fun game. The speed running was great, loved how you could cancel the dashes. Couldn't get less then 5 min, but still fun

cassowary 2022-10-06 05:38

The graphics were very nice! Love the color palette. Aesthetically it really reminds me of the old Nitrome flash game 'final ninja', what with the turning invisible and the dodging shooty-guys/lasers/drones/cameras in a techno-world, haha.

I liked the dash mechanic a lot. There was also some clever level design with the stealth-disabling doors - I appreciated how sometimes you would go through the same area twice but be able to take a different route the second time. I wish you could use the stealth in chunks, rather than having to wait for it to recover even if you had some left over when you canceled it - it was a little annoying to have to stand around and wait for it to recover, and adding a 'conserving stealth energy' aspect might be a cool extra dimension of gameplay.

I was surprised how long the game was! And that there was voice acting! Overall a very impressive level of polish and sophistication for a 72-hour jam game.

callofas22 2022-10-06 06:02

Nice art, and the mood of the music goes well with the theme.

oolimry 2022-10-06 06:07

Definitely the most polished and well developed game I've seen so far! The graphics are amazing, the high-res art is beautiful and the pixel-art levels are super crisp and communicates the details about the gameplay really clearly! The music was exciting and there's even voice acting! Gameplay too was well polished, controls were responsive and forgiving and dashing felt natural (although not being to dash without holding left or right felt abit off to me, died to that a few times, but is a minor thing). The whole mood is really cohesive and it's great :)

My minor gripe with the game is there's a lot of waiting, be it waiting for the 10 seconds to replenish for invincibility or for drones to go out of the way. The flow of the game often became like clear one area with invincibility -> find safe space and turn off invincibility and wait -> continue on (and similar with drones too when I don't have invincibility). I'm sure for speedrunning it's interesting since I would have to consider when and how to conserve my invincibility, but playing casually it disrupted the flow of platforming when I had to wait for invincibility to recharge.

But yea anyways I'm over explaining an issue that's not that serious and the solidness of everything else makes up for it!

nyxkn 2022-10-06 08:29

Astounding entry! Visuals are gorgeous and art is really well done. Menus are impressive as well! Music is amazing, really well done. Rebindable controls were a very neat addition, and I think using F for the abilities was a poor default choice. Especially in a platformer made with the possibility of speedrunning, not being able to trigger the ability while moving is very annoying. You definitely should have rather used one hand for movement and one for dash+ability. Also when prompted to perform new actions like dash and "special" in the introductory levels, I would have liked to also see which key to press! Otherwise you're forcing players to leave the game and look it up in the instructions on this page. Overall *insane* amounts of polish. I'm sure you'll do really well with placement. Good luck!

michaelaranda 2022-10-06 09:58

Pulling of an engaging, feature-filled platformer during a weekend-long game jam is no easy feat, but you guys have done it! Excellent job!

cyrolis 2022-10-06 10:22

The game is really cool ! The only thing I wanted is to play again with the jump button but it didn't work. Good job

phillip-scott 2022-10-06 11:47

Amazed at how much is in here the art, music and voice acting are all good.

Stealth mechanics are fun, the platforming was a little iffy at some points with some you stopping against platforms, and I really want to jump for the robots

The 10 seconds recharge was pretty annoying and the restart button not being in the centre of the screen was also strangely annoying - no idea why!?

But these are minor, great game and fantastic entry!

oakhardt 2022-10-06 13:56

Had so much fun playing this game! I liked the level design. For example that there are 2 paths. One quick one and a slow one. Would love to see the dog being more dangerous. Can't really critize anything really. The music was also great. The character looked lovely.

kepsert 2022-10-06 14:00

@oakhardt Thank you for playing! I'm going to spoil that the dog WAS meant to be more dangerous but the time limitations got to us :D He was supposed to jump after the player, using waypoints, throughout the level, until it lost sight haha. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it <3

delpod 2022-10-06 14:08

Well done, the level design is amazing for such a short time, especially that often there are multiple routes for the level, the mechanics you created were very well utilized. I really liked the graphics, it looks like a lot work was put into it, the same with music.

The movement seems a bit clunky at times, especially at the edges of the platforms. The eye-dog would be more threatening if it chased the player if it saw him outside the guarding path, but still on the same level. Also I think that it was more of a `time as a resource` theme than `every 10 seconds`. All of those are really just minor nitpicks, the game is great and I'm really impressed that you even had time to put control rebinds there.

nestral 2022-10-06 15:01

Pretty cool game! The concept is nice, but the enemies didn't feel threatening, especially the dog. Though, I liked the wave dashes similar to the ones in Giraffe o'clock, so I did one speedrun:

holospecter_10m59s

sterco-raro 2022-10-06 15:22

Minor movement and gameplay wonkyness but truly a great game, I've played it for quite a while!

sven-schoeling 2022-10-06 15:50

Wow. The amount of content is incredible for a jam game. Voice acting, story, really polished. And you even added high skill shortcuts for the speedrunning mode.

The only minor bugs were the usual collision hiccups when hitting a platform in a 45° angle (rounded collision shape?) and a strange joystick drift (maybe increase the deadzone a bit?).

john-llyod-apolo 2022-10-06 15:55

Great game. I like the level design. The mechanics work fine. The art and music set the mood well, and I did not expect some voice-over on the character. Great job.

0x-void-x0 2022-10-06 16:19

Amazing game with gorgeous art style! really enjoyed finishing it, I think the game idea is pretty solid even more so with the added lore and the sense of curiousity is has, the voice acting is always appreciated too. I think this is one of the best games I've played so far mainly because of the art and mechanics.

if I'm to give a bit of criticism I would say waiting for the ability to recharge feels like a flow breaker, sometimes I'm dashing arround running as fast as I can parkouring non stop whitch feels badass but then I have to stop and wait for the ability to recharge in order to move on, I wish that wasn't the case, also encountered a bug where lazer still detected me even when I was invisible, but that's not really a game breaker, I mean what jam game doesn't have its fair share of bugs lol.

anyway I think this game is great, hope to see it in the top 10 for the art category

kepsert 2022-10-06 16:20

@sven-schoeling Hi, thank you for playing! Just had a question regarding the joystick drift :D What controller are you using? I believe the current code is set to a deadzone of .15f and if you move a stick past that in either direction it'll immediately set itself to 1 in that direction, just trying to figure out if this is a controller specific thing I need to look into or whether it's a thing in general :D Thank you!

kepsert 2022-10-06 16:23

@0x-void-x0 Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! As for the waiting times, this is definitely something we ran into as a problem throughout the weekend sadly, we changed to being able to deactivate invisibility for that reason and I added alternate paths at places where I guessed most people would run out of invisibility, sadly, after watching a lot of playing play, I did realise it wasn't quite enough :(

On a positive note! I can assure you that the speedrun strats have basically no waiting periods, besides the power-off-gateway levels where you have to hide from the drones :D

sven-schoeling 2022-10-06 16:53

@Kepsert I use an XBox360 for Windows. In our own game I left the deadzone at the Godot default of .5f and I had no problems with that setting - and we even use the stick strength as float.

kepsert 2022-10-06 16:56

@sven-schoeling Thank you for the headsup! :D I'll try with my own xbox360 controller as well - haven't ran into any issues with my series x controller. Appreciate the feedback :)

runicpixels 2022-10-06 22:14

This is a really impressive game, amazing how much character art was done during the weekend and the pixel style is lovely!

resacagames 2022-10-06 22:34

Amazing stealth entry! Very long for a jam, the graphics were nice, there was a story, it was really polished. The character movement felt very good and the theme use was great. I only wished there were controls in game, I had to go back to the main menu to look at them when faced against having to do a special to cross a laser :P Nice work!!!

shmador 2022-10-07 10:14

Id start by saying this game was great and I had a lot of fun with it. Art and animations were superb and the level design felt fair and challenging! With that out of the way id just list stuff I found inconvenient for you to pay attention to if you haven't already :)

-Controls felt a bit awkward, id prefer Arrows/F/R/Shift or WASD/J/K/L/etc.. to utilize both of my hands while playing

-I noticed that if I stopped pressing the right direction while dashing, my dash would cut right out which felt weird, imo a little air deceleration would have helped here

-Obstacle art seemed too similar to environment art at times- Lasers & Floor, Eyes were hard to notice. a bright outline or different coloring could have helped a bit here :)

-I wish I could reuse my ability if I still had more energy left, Seemed logical to allow further gameplay options

That's about it tho, as I said had tons of funs with this one! Good job

jamiedoesthings 2022-10-07 10:37

@rincs thanks so much for the kind words! I had a lot of fun working on the backstory, and there were quite a few voice notes that didn't make it into the game, so there's definitely more that could be explored in the wider world of this story :D

dileriuml 2022-10-07 17:46

Superfun to play. Here's my all five. Very good game! Thank you for this experience!

spacefudge 2022-10-08 07:58

Very satisfying mechanic to elegantly weave into a platformer. Cool lil backstory, but i think the theme could have been incorporated more than just a cooldown. Sound and sfx are awesome and mood setting. Great art direction

shrillwhip 2022-10-08 19:31

This was absolutely insane. Controls, game design, music, story, everything was on point. The limited voice acting was a nice touch. I can't believe you made this during a weekend. Please turn this into a complete, commercial game.

almost 2022-10-08 22:04

At the point where the game says "Special" I had to mash the keyboard to figure out what key it is, and the same with the dash. WASD shift spacebar and F is really crowded on a keyboard. Ideally all of the non-movement keys are far enough away that I can play with two hands spread out. And then with two hands on the keyboard, needing a mouse to retry after dying is awkward.

I also would have liked if the stealth power recharged faster while not in use (so 10s to run out, and 2s to refill).

There is one level part where you need to fall through a small gap and then dash before landing, and I failed a couple time before I realized that the dash button only works if I provide a horizontal input.

Anyways, those complaints aside, I quite liked the game. I think the art style is great, and I like that you have a bunch of background art decoration while still having very high contrast and clarity for interactive elements. The invisible visual effect is pretty cool. I enjoyed the platforming and did manage to beat the game in the end.

waffleworksgames 2022-10-08 23:20

Woah, it's insane that you guys were able to get so much done in 3 days! Basically everything is top-notch, especially the art, but the controls are smooth, the audio is amazing, and the polish is unmatched. Simply incredible work, I managed to beat it!

stingby12 2022-10-09 13:20

Finally I beat it...

That was a disaster. Yeah the art is good, but the gameplay is even worse than Labyrinth of Darkness (https://ldj.am/$302184). - There is not arrow keys control. - There is not any control indication in the game. PuzzleScript automatically shows the control keys in the main menu for the new players, but yes "it makes the game too easy" - You have to be walking in a direction to dash. Why ? - The second guards level is the most unbalanced level in the game. There is a part where you have so little time to not get hit by the spore, then make a jump not too low to get hit by the guard, but not too high to touch the laser.

yirsi 2022-10-09 16:22

@stingby12 if you prefer arrow keys over wasd there is the option to change that in the controls menu

stingby12 2022-10-09 16:47

@yirsi Nooooo are you serious ?!

stefan-laimer 2022-10-10 11:36

This game is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to speedrun it some more. Looks great, sounds great, plays great. The only thing that I would like to have is a little dead zone for controllers, because at least for mine, I sometimes walked left without even touching the stick. But that might also be because my controller is already old. But even the fact that you added controller support is amazing!

bluishgreenpro 2022-10-10 13:12

Hey, I got a request for an interview on my stream from @kepsert, but I haven't been able to contact him. Are you, or any other members of your team still interested in an interview?

kepsert 2022-10-10 13:45

@bluishgreenpro Hi! I submitted it the other day but I think I had fallen asleep during the stream haha. I'm technically still interested, but time's a bit limited on my end, sadly. I could try and stop by whenever I see you're live/I'm available at the same time and then depending on the queue size we can perhaps work something out? :)

amarokczukay 2022-10-11 14:44

this game was very nice and fun to play, i spent way more time than expected! i completely see why there is a speedrun category haha

the art is lovely and coherent, excellent job on all points!

@kepsert weeelll I don't know, there's some time to be saved in my run, but it's hard to get everything right. Guess we'll see.

wow I enjoyed this game a lot. I love your graphics, both pixel art and other drawings. The character is very cute, I fell in love with her right away.

If I can be constructive, I would point out a few problems. What bothered me the most were some yellow walls that I could only run through as invisible. Why are they the same color as the floor I'm walking on? I killed myself about three times before I realized that they were going to kill me and that it wasn't a bug. Danger and Hazard should be visible and recognizable at first glance. in addition, you already have the color for danger. What about the orange light from the cameras... I believe it would serve much better.

When I used invisibility for maybe only 4 seconds I had to wait for it to recharge before I could use it again. I thought that was a shame because it was holding me back from progressing through the game.

The controls weren't terrible, but they could use some fine-tuning. I missed a tutorial on how to control it. When the game tells me to use "special" or "dash", I didn't know which button to use. I had to go back to your LD page and find the controls.

Oh, and in one level I somehow mysteriously jumped over the gate that was supposed to take away my invisibility and thus I got to the goal very early ;)

Look, these are such little things. Even though I've written a lot about them, it's still true that you made a great and fun e with an interesting story, great artwork and nice music. Good work :)

Wow unbelievable job! The art is absolutely phenomenal, and the sound all pairs so well with it. I had a ton of fun playing this. The controls were so tight, and the movement felt satisfying, especially with the dash. My one gripe is sometimes having to wait for the 10s to fill back up to use the ability, even if you stopped it with 5s more to go, etc. But that is a minor gripe. Really well designed levels too with lots of different types of hazards, all in such a short time. Love the speed run aspect of it too! Incredible job!

Really impressive level design, loved the graphics and the voice acting.

Y'all have really nailed down the technique of making a great feeling, stable 2D platformer character controller, and I am extremely jealous of that.

The art, music, sound design, controls, level design, and mechanics design are all top notch, really no notes there. :ok_hand:

I actually wasn't a big fan at first of the fact that I had to wait for a full recharge of my invisibility before I was able to use it again, but now I can really appreciate the reason you implemented it this way (ie: to encourage risk-taking for speedrunners), so now I think it's a super clever decision!

Although, since it's clear that this game was designed to be speedrun, I do have a coooouuuple of tiny niggles that I wanted to mention:

- The "Game Over" sequence/animation kind of takes a little too long when you fail, making me feel a little frustrated/annoyed when it happens. The pace of this game reminds me a *lot* of Celeste, which I think is why it feels noticeable when there isn't a fast "immediately restart level" flow when I get caught (at least not in the base game). EDIT: I actually just opened it up again, and noticed you have a "quick restart" button. That's super nice  Although I do still think the default behavior should prolly happen faster.

- The "Back" button on your credits screen doesn't do anything (at least on WebGL) :stuck_out_tongue:

- This last jump is mean. :slight_frown: I dun like it...Especially since it's one of the last platforming challenges the player needs to do after a pretty long level.

Hopefully all my tiny criticisms don't bother you too much. At the end of the day, this is easily one of the best , most solidly put together LD entries out there, imo. So none of these complaints actually bother me all that much. Y'all just seem like you've got an eye for quality, so I wanted to do my part to facilitate that.

@coleslaughter Thank you so much for playing! Always a pleasure to hear from you ha. I'm glad you liked enjoyed the game a lot! I'm terribly sorry about the last jump, though! It's those little moments where I, as the level designer, am aware of all ins and outs of the game and sometimes tend to forget that other players might not see things the same way as I do haha. The eyes have a smaller hitbox than its visuals, so when I was playtesting it I would basically just walk into them slightly, then jump - rather easy.... if you're aware of the hitbox. Oops. Definitely something I need to improve on, but will take that, and your other pointers, with me to future jams!

Unfortunately I couldn't find the time to read a lengthy review on your game this time around due to an injury, but I'm def looking forward to your next LD entry (you guys better be joining again!)

Really nice work, to be done in such a short amount of time! I am still trying to get my paired PS5 controller to work with the web version but no big deal.
