nice idea! Loved the music! congrats!
Would have been great to upload the html version on ichio or directly in the ludum dare website . Otherwise great game . Love the music and sound . The idea is fun and work well for a little game like that . Had fun and that the goal .
simple but fit with the theme
Well that was probably the weirdest way to distribute a web game I've seen. 😅

Very fun and original (probably been done but I've at least never seen it) idea to disallow loops. Makes it harder to do level design though. You even had a chance for a full on lock up...

Pretty harmonious looking color choices! Except for the red kinda pops out too much. But it was indeed effective in its warning function. And what a banger of a music that was too!
Sad to see it be that short. Could have easily been couple of screens longer without anything additional without getting repetitive. It pretty much ended right after getting the hang of it.
I have a sneaky suspicion that this Minit-like "reset" every 10 seconds is going to be quite a common take on the theme this time around.
Good job! 👍
Very nice game. Interesting progressive maze concept as well. Good job! + Music is really good
@antti-haavikko: Thank you for very detailed feedback! It is really appreciated. @bobo-oh, @budark, @ricky-owings: Thank you for the feedback! It is really appreciated. @ginahe: We are planning to embed it here. Stay tuned. Thank you for the feedback!
I really like this game, but, its kinda hard to take the last piece of gold
Cool concept! It was a little frustrating realizing that to pick the last piece I had to start over though
Great concept. Thought the game was bug for a second, since the 2nd gold wasn't popping up.
Overall, solid entry.
@mandytoh Thank you for playing. I agree but it is kind of the only puzzle in the game ;-) @ironcutter Thank you for your comment. I was thinking about to make restart part of the game (e.g. restart it by picking something) but we run out of time. In other words, yeah, you are right, player must be very lucky to be able to finish the game without restart feature. But even with this modification somebody could say: "It was a little frustrating realizing that to pick the last piece I had to start over though." ;-) @defilerzero Interesting feedback. Thank you very much for playing!
@paveldlouhy maybe you could add the ability to fill back in a square of dirt for every piece of gold you take and make more pieces hard to reach. Once balanced that could some add strategic value while giving a limited, non game-breaking, undo option. Or you could just make the forced path to the last piece shorter and the final speed of the characted higher, but this may take away much of the fun
@ironcutter Thank you. Those are very interesting ideas...
Really cool game, enjoyed playing it :)
@quoc Thank you for playing! :smiley:
This was cute :D I liked hunting for the gold, although I stressed myself far more than I should've with the whole "you can totally make this unwinnable if you're not careful" thing lol. I'd be curious what happens with this game with even more built upon it, but it's a cool experience as it is as well! :)
Nice game. I had to start over to reach the final piece of gold because my path to the other room was to convoluted.
I had to restart because that last 7th piece of gold is unattainable if you don't have a direct path right from the start!
Cute mechanic. I'm impressed that this is written entirely in some Javascript. I think in today's age of Unity and Construct and all the other game libraries it's easy to underappreciate the sweat that goes into coding a game on "hard mode" using some direct to HTML/JS code.
That is a cool idea of a game, I would like to see it iterate upon
Very cool, love the music, the art style is simple but it work really well. I'm really impressed with how much gameplay you were able to achieve with such simple mechanics :)
I was stuck at first, before I saw that I cannot do loops, but the second time it worked out :smile:. I like the concept, for such a short game it's better without loops as it give it more depth. I can see it could be developed much further.
@cataclysmicknight @flying-dog-fish @candlesan @juels @mikouaji @delpod Thank you! :smiley:
Yeah, I just collected the 7th gold! Great concept, simple and fun, with nice music too! I think it will be very challenging if it is required to collect all golds in one try, but the timer will reset when a gold is collected. Well done!
Very interesting concept. It took me a while to figure out how to explore, but eventually I got the hang of it. I only wish there were a way to overcome the “no loop” limitation. It would have made the game more interesting. On the other hand, it makes for a good puzzle game. Overall, a pretty good entry — certainly innovative. Nice work.
@yword @gamebuilder Thank you! :smiley:
Neat little game you've made! The music is great and though the graphics are simple, they provide enough clues to what the game is actually about. I really like your take on the theme too.
The game is definitely interesting, if somewhat puzzling. Really cool to see such games during a jam!
Good take on the theme! Gameplay, music, and graphics worked well together. More levels would have been great. Which I guess means, I like the game enough to want to keep playing :smile:
@saskle @congusbongus @douglas Thank you! :smiley:
