Awesome graphics and sound. I liked the interaction between the characters in the intro. Quite difficult (or maybe I'm just a Pico, and bad at music).

vivianmochi 2022-10-03 05:53

Ahh I loved it! Super cute graphics and super ambient music! The puzzles were perfect, and the dialogue was amazing as always!! The end screen with Aya playing the flute, so cute!! Amazing job Yulo!

astrydax 2022-10-03 15:37

I love that you've turned LD into a game series. Fantastic graphics. Mood is top notch. Always enjoy a nice Graphic Adventure game.

owca 2022-10-03 16:08

I loved your art style but the game was a bit difficult for me.

foursay 2022-10-04 02:13

Its great to see aya again! Still remember the little planet work lol. I am the audio guy and I like how you develop your puzzle with differernt tunes. I am initially stuck at the level where seems to be 5 notes in tune but 6 in the purple indicators. It turns out you need to match the beat and deactivate one of the purple column, and I love this beat-matching part. The art is awesome as ALWAYS and nice work!

thedashdude 2022-10-04 02:41

Art was nice and I liked characters, but music isn't my thing. Only solved two puzzles...

yulotomorrow 2022-10-04 04:19

@nate954 @astrydax @foursay Congratulations for beating the game and thank you for playing! Glad to hear you enjoyed the game!

@rob6566 @owca @thedashdude To beat the game you need some sense of rhythm and tell the pitch difference of a given piece of music, so it needs you to have some music knowledge! Don't worry, the game is designed to be challenging, and thank you for playing anyway!

wobbleblocks 2022-10-04 06:45

Really awesome game, the music is wonderful and it was fun!

diego-escalante 2022-10-04 06:47

I did find the mixed up order of the statues (compared to the order of the bars) to be a little frustrating. It seems like the main challenge of the game is to listen to the tune and rebuild it by ear. But it felt like the statues got in the way of that.

Having said that, I love the art style, and I really like the concept. This game has a lot of heart put into it. It's a difficult game, but pretty creative! Great work!

daandruff 2022-10-04 06:48

Nice little adventure style music game. I found it a bit unnecessary that the statues position didn't correspond to the place in the tune. It made it so that even though I knew the correct answer, I was constantly tripping up clicking the wrong statue. Nice work though!

kevin-barrios 2022-10-04 06:57

Love the setup and humor. Had a hard time understanding the relationship between the statues and notes because I accidentally brute forced the first puzzle.

senso 2022-10-04 07:19

Nice and relaxed game that looks Amazing! Love your work , good jam!

tero-pulkkinen 2022-10-04 07:22

I liked the graphics, but there's too much text in the game.

arya-s 2022-10-04 08:37

The visual art style is really nice and I like the humor. Introducing the game by a dialogue between the two characters is a good introduction without feeling like one.

I'm a Pico too tho, I really struggled with the game mechanic.

wizcas 2022-10-04 11:40

Finally finished it! The final music is touching and beautiful. I feel very much moved by this game. Finding the right bar height is challenging. But once it's figured out, I had a strong feeling of achievement. Beautiful art work, too! Thank you for bringing this nice piece to me

I would also suggest not to disperse the location of the statues, though. It's kinda frustrated finding the right one.

*Sorry I cheated by looking into the scene file of `new4`. LOL*

otterfaelure 2022-10-04 12:01

This game was suuuuuuuuuper cute and I normally love music matching games because it feels like a delightful puzzle that makes my brain tingle.

But the statues being in the "wrong" order (as compared to the bars up top) left me feeling frustrated and I didn't get past the first level post tutorial. =(

Sorry I can't get farther to give you further feedback. It just felt so frustrating to go "okay the second note needs to go down/up I think... oh darn which statue was it again" and then furiously click until I find it.

I love that you are making a series via the jams though. Hopefully I can see more of the adventures in a future game. :D

Love the art style! Though it's a bit challenging. Great idea to implement hearing into the game but I feel like it started off too difficult. I figured out the solution but the first level has like 6 statues and 4 different pitches and the statue is of the wrong order... I've tried my best to distinguish the sounds but I can only make out the differences between the close ones and I can't make out which pitch they belong... It would help if it's less difficult. The graphics are cute. The difficulty is quite the opposite.

zimny11 2022-10-04 17:57

Really nice game! The art style is amazing! I wish there was a mode for people like me, who have no sense of music note recognition at all and can't past second level :")

cooz 2022-10-04 21:25

Graphics are awesome! But game is too hard for me ^^ Didn't succeed the first level !

sleepymenace 2022-10-04 22:12

This is a nightmare when you have absolutely no relative pitch! Very cute and comfy game, though, with nice art!

eugenik 2022-10-05 01:24

Nice ! Simple and addictive !.

ggross 2022-10-05 02:40

I love this game! The graphics and mood is wonderful. Music note is not a problem for me, but the status in random position is a little annoying :D. Still enjoy the game, well done!

saikai 2022-10-05 08:51

Super cute game and graphics. Theme is a bit underutilized but the concept is great nevertheless.

georgy 2022-10-05 15:15

I really liked. Excellent work.

2022-10-05 15:19

i liked the graphics! and the idea is super cool. i make music myself and don't really struggle with notes, but i feel there should have been an indication of where the first note was supposed to be as a baseline! this game is awesome if one is up for the challenge!

div00 2022-10-05 17:11

It's very challenging for me to play this game. I didn't understand how to get the right bar, is it with hearing only? or visual clues also. The positions of the statuses was annoying, it's hard already for me

It was super impressive though, the art style is gorgeous, and the music is fantastic. I like that you made a series out of it, and for sure looking forward to play your entry on the next LD :100:

defilerzero 2022-10-05 17:48

Audio puzzle aren't my thing (cause I have no sense of pitch), but an enjoyable game none the less. Adore the artstyle.

chase-of-bass 2022-10-06 05:40

The art in this is really good -very charming puzzle game! Great job! :D

erlioniel 2022-10-06 19:33

It's really nice from art perspective, but really as a lot of people mentioned above - hard to read the pattern for people, who's not so much in music. As well that fact that statues are mixed from timeline drives crazy :sob: But anyway good job!

amaroq 2022-10-07 20:16

Really nice game with a sweet intro. I'm quite bad at music so maybe that's the reason this game felt hard but I would have liked to perhaps be able click on the bars to listen to the corresponding sound. Also as some other mentioned, the buttons not being in the same order as the bars was quite frustrating. Nonetheless a very cute and good entry, good job!

blinry 2022-10-11 19:44

Very pretty and cute graphics! :) It took us a short while to figure out that you can *turn off* notes, but after that, we enjoyed finding the correct patterns, humming along happily! The dialog at the beginning set the mood nicely. We would have loved more levels! It was really satisfying to play through the game and find the flute in the end!

Looking forward to Aya and Pico's next adventure!

Great visuals and I like the concept. I think the first puzzle is too hard. I would have liked a way to hear the note I was setting each thing to. It was hard to contextualize where to start a bar at without a reference point.
