Pretty fun, got quite difficult later on when there was many shifts in a row
@kankje thanks a lot. In fact it does hatch. You need to survive for 20 rounds for the baby to hatch.
Love the intro song. Love the gameplay. It gets more challenging as you progress. Graphics and sounds are very nice.
Wow, your game has a vocalized intro song?!?! Amazing! I was totally not expecting that hahah the sound design overall was just fantastic! I also really liked the idea here, having the different tiles of the world slide away is such great design because it works in so many ways from protecting your egg, to getting enemies off screen and to getting the keys/chests. It was definitely kind of tough as I found some cascading moves that caused me to go off screen even though I didn't think I was in a red zone. But regardless, really great job!
The music is cool. And the idea is funny. A nice little game. :egg: :elephant:
Felt like the goal of the game could have been made a bit more clear, there also could have been more of an instruction to the gameplay at the start as well
I liked the idea ! Nice Game!! And I survived until the egg hatched :)
In mechanics, the topic is perfectly disclosed! It was fun and exciting to play. Good job!
Really nice mechanic! When there were more than one row moving I missed the ability to know in which order they would move because sometimes it felt chaotic for not knowing that, but still works well and it has the right duration. Nice entry!
Really nice feel to this game. It took me a little while to realize the shades wouldn't attack the egg. Once I realized that I was putting keys in chests. I think it would be nice to ensure there was always a key and chest available.
It's fun! I think it's cool you can try to trap the shades on a tile that's about to be destroyed. I may have found a bug. I walked off the edge right before the egg hatched and it gave me the lose screen but then switched to the victory screen.
The song... I am dead.. you've killed me...
I was sort of half-listening to the lyrics and then suddenly realized what it was X'D
Anyhow, really liked this one, the puzzle sliding got really intense toward the end. I did have some trouble with recognizing when the same tile was going to slide twice in the same cycle, but otherwise really well done! Great work!
Very cool mechanics, awesome audio, solid controls. Great entry! I'm still trying to protect the egg until it hatches :).
This is really really good! Love the take on the theme. Pretty much everything works, art's good, music and sound's good, gameplay is simple but the shifting platforms are interesting. I think a bit more to do on the player's side would've made it a lot more engaging, although it's already good as is. Really good job!
A very interesting concept. Love the intro and the music. The gameplay is nice, but could be a bit more challenging. But I enjoyed the short time with your game. Well done!
Love this, cool concept, cute style and fun gameplay!
I think it would be nice to see more clearly where the tiles will go as they can be a bit unpredictable at later stages because of how the red overlay shows the directions. It is a bit misleading because you'd think only the red zone is the actual danger but when two shifts intersect some tiles that weren't red also move out of the level. Maybe the red could grow to each tile that will disappear or instead of a red overlay, every tile could somehow show where it will move?
Also, if you ever continue working on this we need something with gameplay value out of the chests :)
Thanks for this!
Great concept, and a fun gameplay and tone to the whole game.
I enjoyed the in-game soundtrack, but admit the singing in the intro wasn't really that great to listen to for me. The game art and mechanics was solid, and the fact that I could finish it in one sitting was great! There weren't many chests spawning anymore after the first few, so the keys kinda became useless. Otherwise, cute artstyle!
Thanks for making this!
The intro song was really cool ana a nice touch! My egg hatched, btw :D However, I dind't really understood the mechanics till the very end, I don't think I should have won without understanding that, so I think the game could be a little harder ^^ Great work overall!
