Nice game. Really cute graphics.
The light effects are cool :) Could be a bit more content, but otherwise solid entry.
It's a very nice game! I like it!
Strong aesthetic! Would've loved a little pensive music to fit the scene.
Quite easy and short, but it looked nice and had a good mechanic.
Really fun stealth game. Gave the game a few runs, before attempting to get the lowest time 10000 point, only kill target run. Got it down to about 10.4 seconds.
The lighting effects are really cool, and it was quite fun to find new paths to the target.
not bad - a fun little stealth game. I really like the lighting effects, they're very impressive.
I enjoyed playing this -- the light effects are really cool!
I think it's a good structure for a game -- at the moment it's a bit too easy and too short, so could do with something to make it a bit more challenging (like your suggestions of more levels, moving enemies)
Interesting, a very decent stealth game with nice light effects. Good job!
Thanks alot for all the feedback. :)
@LeekAnarchism, @tomdeal, @razavidn: Yeah more content (levels, audio and so on) is definetly a thing. I hope next time I have a bit more time to put in some more content beside the general game logic. :)
@someone9999: Special thanks to you for playing it more than once ;). The challenge to find different paths and to get a top score + a fast time was one thing I hoped some players will enjoy.
I felt very guilty at the end, but I found the game incredible. The lighting effects were a good idea, but the blur did make them a little odd. Maybe some nice music next time? Overall it was a pretty good game, well done.
I enjoyed the game for what it was. Seems like you already have a good idea on how you want to continue the game.
The game doesn't launch for me. It just mentions that a Java Exception has occured. :/
I like how the graphics serve the gameplay in your game. The mechanics are not very innovative, but well executed anyway, which is what matters. Nice entry.
@Jajo Yeah, music would extend the immersion quite a bit, I think. But I'm totally uncreative in that area. :D
@tobbez Definitely, I have some plans to extend it to some sort of "real" game, perhaps for mobile.
@Kaype Hmm, that's really strange, nothing special there. :/
@stevenlr Thanks for your feedback and that's true, nothing new overall, but I really wanted to try some "light and shadow" mechanics. ;)
I killed everyone and am the monster. I believe that means I win.
- graphics are simple but work well to show whats going on
- kind of fun, but was really easy to kill the target
- enemies don't seem to react to me at all
- killed myself without killing anyone else, would have been nice to get different ending
- gameplay needs more depth. like maybe enemy's that are moving along a path. random levels would be cool
@KilledByAPixel Thank you for the extensive feedback, I really appreciate it. It's overall to simple and there should be some kind of an AI, rather then just random turning objects, thats true. That was planned but I didn't managed to implement it in time.
A different ending is a nice idea and if I continue developing there will be different ones for sure. Random levels are a great idea, or at least more levels at all. The latter could be done quite easily, because of a small wrapper I wrote and which allows me to model a whole level (including enemies) encapsulated from the game logic in TILED.
Nice use of 2D ray casting tech!
Nice entry! it's it's kind confusing to know what is going on at the beginning, but it have a nice gameplay. Good job!
