I like how smooth the movement of the thingy is. Esspecially when touching the top and slowly bouncing back. I could cheat a little though. I kept my down arrow pressed and almost never hit anything. But enjoyed the music.
A truly enjoyable experience, a good take on the flappy bird genre! The game started so smoothly that It took me while to realize that I needed to control the probe! The music matched perfeclty the theme, gameplay and graphics! The ending felt little bit too long and meaningless. But so far this game was smoothest experience from the games I have reviewed so far!
The concept seemed simple at first but the execution is absolutely great, both visually and in terms of challenge. Great entry!
Great job! I liked the music quite a bit.
The movement feels pretty nice, though the game became genuinely nauseating near the middle. It poses no challenge but was enjoyable while it lasted.
That was so pleasant ! I absolutely loved how smooth the direction interpolation behaved. Gotta say : the idea of generating the level relative to the speed is absolutely brilliant. It allowed me to practice each chunk comfortably. Slightly frustrating at times, but never too much. And it was so relaxing, it just FEELS so good and nice. Very nice music too !
Really cool game. It took some time getting used to the handling of the spaceprobe but then it was really fun to control.
I especially liked bouncing of the top and bottom. The music is great and the graphics are also very nice. The background images are just amazing!
Unfortunately I seem to be not very good at the game. When I reached 50/60bn light years, I always started hitting one asteroid after another :D
Overall I had a lot of fun playing!
nice soundtrack
I love the floating effect of this little probe ! The displacement is super smooth and pleasant, and especially that little bounce around the edges ! The music is just perfect with the atmosphere. Really good work !!
Gave up at first, but I'm glad I came back for the ending! Thanks for the nice surprise!!!
The game is good, but I felt a certain delay in the management.
Nice execution of a simple game. Good job
I love the feeling of this game. It may lacks of game over, I could hit all of the asteroids without having any problems.
In the end I was sad to leave this little probe
Great work
loved the mood of this game, awesome job! that little space probe will stay in my heart forever <3 <3 <3
I saw this from others but Flappy bird is not the best way to describe it... but okay?
It is a nice object avoiding game for sure! Though the controls feels objectively betraying, it does feel somewhat satisfying when you move. Later on you do have to steer very early before the asteriods hit.
Definitely some parallax scrolling would help on the effect you're going for.
I do applaud you at the ending though it's very beautiful! ...the joke at the end too! Wonderful work!
Thanks for a nice little game. Trying to match movement with the wave length of the bounciness was actually quite fun. Made it to 100bn :stars:
Cool little game. Graphics and sound fit the overall mood quite well in my opinion.
What I found difficult was that the spaceship bounced off the edges, which more than once caused me to crash the probe into an asteroid
I found the steering too fast at low speeds, and too slow at high speeds :joy: I would recommend adjusting the up/down speed with the bn/ly speed for better control of the probe next time. But may be that was just me :see_no_evil:
I had fun playing the game. Solid submission.
I really liked the smooth controls, they are very pleasant. The atmosphere is good too, the music fits the mood well. I also really liked the fact that you can't lose, I think it makes the game very enjoyable ! If I had to make a feedback it would be on the impact with the rocks: there could be a small vfx (sparks from the ship or some bits of the rock that fly for example) with a small sound at the same time. In any case the game is nice !
It has rather simple and easy to understand mechanics, which I like for a gamejam game. The graphics and the music is really good and puts you in a good mood! One of my favourite games here so far!
I love the "checkpoint system". (if you can even call it that) Instead of the gameflow being disrupted you simply lose some smaller bits of progress. It doesn't feel punishing at all. It's really well done how older areas load back in, whenever you lose too much progress.
The art is great. I love the small detail of the path being hinted at in the background of the first area. The ending looks pleasing and the final resolution is fun.
The music has some abrupt changes which kind of disrupted the flow a little, but I generally liked the tunes and they fit the atmosphere nicely.
The game looks very pretty, the music is nice and the controls are very smooth. I just couldn't get much over 70bn.
I think the game would benefit greatly from a game over condition, either running out of time or running out of health due to too many crashes. As it is you can play it forever and never reach the ending. Some kind of scoring for the people not able to get to the end would be great too (like top speed reached).
Very nice! Graphics and music are outstanding. Personally, I thought that the spaceship was a little unintuitive to control, but maybe that's the point...
