Feels very polished, great art and sound
Fun style of game, love the art. One thing I would've changed was the perspective of the walls. It kinda made it hard to read what were empty spaces and what was the wall.
The art and sound combined make a great atmosphere. This is a very challenging puzzle game. Multiple attempts are definitely required for this mind-bending puzzler.
I'm suspicious of talking about games like this, I was never very good at them. The art and music are impeccable, and I'm sure many will talk about it. About the theme, I had the impression that it was used more in the story than in the gameplay.
For those who like puzzles, it's a full plate! Congratulations to the team!
I'm not a very big fan of these sorts of games, but I stuck with it far longer than most thanks to the incredible sound and art. And, despite not being a fan of the 'push stuff' genre, I thought the puzzles were well designed, even if I had to skip them Tunnel onward because I just couldn't crack them. Amazing work!!
It's just brilliant! Very polished and beautiful looking game, it took me a few tries to go through the levels but it's part of puzzle games haha. Also, the sound effects and music fit the game art style and gameplay so nicely, it's charming and appealing.
Very polished gameplay and impressive art-design. For me, it's a great game!
Congrats for the very great work!
The game was polished just a bit too hard! I would add a redo button and make the puzzles a little easier in a post jam version.
Great looking game, but also very hard! Only managed to complete the first two levels, the perspective makes it hard to visualize the moves to solve the puzzles. Otherwise a really great game!
Nice game, very polished! The puzzles were maybe a bit too hard, I managed to solve all of them but took me a long time.
Astonishing artwork and music. Only if I could clear those level with out any help....
I couldn't do the last puzzle lol. Amazing work on this none the less. Feels polished all around for what it is. Puzzle design was phenomenal as well. The pixel art is amazing but at the same time it also kinda hinders the game. The perspective can make it hard to see certain tiles behind walls or behind the pillars. Maybe just reducing the height of the walls from 2 tiles to 1 would fix that. Still, an awesome entry all around
Wow, this is amazing, absolutely love the art style & sound created in this! Feels pretty polished! Well done on making this in such a short amount of time!
Hey guys, thanks for submitting the game to the stream, it was a good time! Here's the vod if you'd like to rewatch; https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1167974254
the sheer level of polish, atmosphere, design, honestly it's hard to criticise this! it's a cute lil puzzle game with a gorgeous aesthetic and incredibly fitting soundtrack. everything feels like it's part of a well oiled machine, fitting snugly together.
i will mention one thing however. i feel that the view got in the way of being able to understand where the goals for the pillars are, as well as the available paths i could walk down. this made surveying the puzzle to come up with a plan of attack a bit harder than i would have liked. i do appreciate that the goals for the pillars have a glowing halo above them for visibility, but it's rather faint and took me a while to understand what it was for.
but yeah, otherwise this is really quite a lovely little game, excellent work!
I also made a Sokoban-inspired game, so it's really cool to check out others who have done the same thing :)
As far as presentation and polish goes, this is probably the best game I've played this jam. Truly fantastic work. Graphics, music and sound, gamefeel - all excellent, and makes a beautiful, cohesive whole. Crazy good work for a weekend.
That said, I'm afraid the visuals don't serve the gameplay. As others have mentioned, the perspective makes it really needlessly difficult to read. For a Sokoban game you really need clear line sight of all the tiles. You kinda get used to it and learn to read it a bit better, but I was really frustrated in the beginning.
this is a great little puzzle game, the atmosphere and FX are lovely and its so fantastically polished for three days :O fantastic job
I loved the art in this game, it is a nice puzzle game, well done!
Very polished, art & sound are quite good. If I had to nitpick, I would mirror what others have mentioned about the perspective, and maybe try to have the camera not move around as much. That being said, great work given the constraints of a game jam!
the art design serves well to the story. I'm personally not a fan of these sort of puzzle game, but I tried it for a little bit and I think the levels are well designed. good job!
It's a block pushing game with *hella a e s t h e t i c*. I'm bad at these types of games, but if you're not, it ought to be a rad time :)
the art and music in this game were breathtaking! and the puzzles were really fun and just the right level of difficult...the only complaint id give is one i see a few others have given and thats the camera perspective...while it added to the atmosphere, it did make the puzzles a bit more difficult to maneuver..but i loved how charming this game was over all, yall did a great job!
As others have said, this is a game with wonderful presentation, but feels a bit too difficult for a jam game. The difficulty really ramps up, especially without a way to undo a few moves instead of restarting the whole level. A few other small things: The camera was a little bit stuttery while moving around; I think it may be because it is moving a pixel at a time as it slows down. Also it would be nice to be able to hold space to keep pushing instead of needed to press it over and over. Overall though it was still a fun game.
