It looks like an early Zelda game, Enjoy it

jcmonkey 2022-04-06 20:33

for some reason i had alot of trouble placing pots. they wouldnt drop

prodigalson 2022-04-06 21:01

@jcmonkey sorry, there's a bug that if you get too close to the back wall it won't drop because it thinks it's blocked. I usually take a step back and it works. Thanks for playing

@silkmeloni thanks for giving it ago

potkirland 2022-04-06 22:36

beautiful execution of both theme and mechanics! thanks for sharing your game had pretty fun!

alexthehuman2 2022-04-06 23:23

simple yet intriguing game that took me half an entire play time to get used the actual mechanic - placing sand in the pot so things don't sink under. I actually don't have much suggestion other than more levels and more floor pattern designs, so good job!

alexthehuman2 2022-04-06 23:23

also I got 29650 score

frozenfire92 2022-04-07 00:40

What a great entry! I appreciated the volume sliders at the start, I'm going to need to do that on my next jam game  Overall a well polished experience that made great use of the theme. I think you could really expand upon this concept and make complete game a lot of roguelike players would enjoy! Keep on making games \o/

wassim 2022-04-07 04:09

Amazing game, a great idea implementation I had lots of fun playing it Thanks for the amazing entry

jitspoe 2022-04-07 04:24

Got 30050. Everything vibed together pretty well for a nice, cohesive experience. Solid entry!

gandelianna 2022-04-07 11:47

What a pretty visual on this game! I'm happy to chill with it!

yellowkamel 2022-04-07 19:23

Cute little game! Loved the music and art, and the concept of the sand rising. In my opinion you could increase the sand rising speed a bit to make these pots more worth their effort. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!

nardandas 2022-04-07 21:39

Really well put together game. I'd almost want more time pressure, I got 32200 and barely broke a sweat! I really loved the particle effects! Well done!

caudatecoder 2022-04-08 07:23

Nice looking and surprisingly enjoyable game! It's really funny that there's no motivation to pick stuff up apart from the player's greed.. which works pretty well, haha

Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it: https://youtu.be/1s0mnrLO_ak

aarimous 2022-04-08 17:04

Very nice entry, I liked that I had moments of chill and moments of rushing. I think that made a good balance.

javasaurus 2022-04-08 19:39

I've never seen any game with these mechanics, it's amazing ! SO cool, very well made :) Love it. The only thing I would maybe suggest is adding waves of enemies of some sort, as you have the combat mechanic ready anyway! But overall, this is a very very very fun game and I really enjoy it. Bookmarking this ^-^

bauke-regnerus 2022-04-08 20:00

That is a nice concept for a game! Very unique and well executed. Love the cartoony style. I couldn't get my controller working in the browser, but that could have been my bad. Some (particle) effect when picking up coin would be nice. I feel the pace of the platforms should also speed up more, because when I finished I didn't really feel like being pushed to the max. But really nice game, good job!

prodigalson 2022-04-08 21:31

@bauke-regnerus thanks for giving it ago. I tested real quick and verify at least my ps4 controller works. I did have to make sure to click on the game to have focus on it. Sorry that feature didn't work for you

lbrande 2022-04-08 22:43

The basic idea is cool and innovative. However, the controls are a bit too clunky (it's very easy to accidentally place the pots beside the sand instead of below) and playing feels a bit too much like a chore. I believe the game would be more enjoyable if the pace was increased.

prodigalson 2022-04-08 23:22

@lbrande thanks for your feedback. Much appreciate it. Sorry the controls didn't work all to well for you. Thanks for playing

nafos-games 2022-04-09 00:05

Really enjoyed this one because I could finish it. That is rare for me so, thanks. But seriously, I loved the vibe of your game. It was really fun, would love to see it developed into something more.

ladymistleaf 2022-04-09 15:50

Neat little game, love the concept, the music was nice and fit the atmosphere, and I managed to beat the game (after getting squished on my first attempt). Great game!

Epic! Great game, good job!

Wow, this game is amazing! Absolutely love the artstyle and gameplay. Everything feels so polished. Please keep on making great games, best of luck!

This was so much fun! It was a total blast to play I love the unique design you came up with for the theme. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1449896005?t=03h29m05s

makhan 2022-04-11 01:09

Simple but fun game, really enjoyed the music. The character reminds me of Wind Waker, really cool.

arity 2022-04-11 02:35

Fun little game! Would love to see faster sand fill and throwing the pots to make the gameplay feel a bit more hectic! Overall though, nice job! Very well polished!

drentsoft 2022-04-11 18:45

Lovely little game! Would be nice to see this developed into some kind of infinite run with breaks to get upgrades, maybe some overworld that sees you taken into different tombs/dungeons to get ever more valuable treasure diamondInTheRough.PNG

prodigalson 2022-04-11 19:32

@drentsoft it's like you read my mind! Thankd for playing and for almost getting a perfect score!

syafire 2022-04-11 20:14

Hello Drums,

Thanks for hanging out with us in stream. First off, I loved the graphics in this game really well done and fit the theme you were going for. I think that there could be improvement in the UI. I was not a huge fan of the font, I really don't think the font supported the style that the game was in. Also the light blue color I am not sure about as well, maybe sticking to the warm color palette would have helped a bit stylistically.

The overall gameplay was really fun but I feel like something was missing. Maybe having an enemy on top of filling up the pots with sand. Super solid and well polished for the jam. Great work :D
