Love this game so much, VERY well done Pomo ! Great entry, controls feel fair. Maybe an added indicator where your block is about to land, the shadows achieve the same but sometimes it gets pretty finicky to figure out what/where I'm placing a block.
But as I said, love it !
this was addicting as hell. thanks for making it!

@ausstein you just dont know the strat yet xD
I love the game, it's fun to play and really challenging. At the beginning it's hard to use controls, but little by little you'll get used to it. Well done Pomo!

Love the inclusion of a Leaderboard, as it motivated me to at least read my name for a while! Furthermore the funnily shaped stones aswell as the intuitive controls and the hilarious game over screen sold me completely on this game :D Fine job! Thank you for this unique take on tetris!
You have to get used to the controls at first, but then you just want to be in the Top 10. I'm sure not to give up here :smiling_imp: ... wait ... I am so bad at this game ~Love it, clever idea :v:

Another great game! A simple concept but very tricky to master. Definitely wanna play it again to beat my score!
We made the same game, but yours is 3d and way better.
Loved the game and also the fact that you had a leaderboard, real solid jam entry!
In Chaos lies beauty!
Adding a leaderboard was a good choice, it really makes you get addicted to it xD
Great interpretation of the theme! The game is a lot of fun! While the graphics are minimalistic, it also appeals to us nostalgic players who love Tetris. Balancing the tower is a lot more difficult than it seems because of the additional pieces (especially the triangles) Great job! Will try for a better spot on that leaderboard.

@ausstein yeah yeah I saw it when a streamer played my game a bit ago LUL, I might try to beat it while I wait for a game to download or something. Great job man! Ill give you priority this LD for beating me as well lol
I enjoyed piling up and then have my dream crushed by an explosion and a you died screen afterwards. 10/10
Damn you guys are sick at this game, I couldnt even get top 10! >:( Anyways, very well executed tower building game, online leaderboards make it even better!

I had a strat, and I failed. 5/7

I got 8 place on leaderboards, still trying to get higher score. Pleasant and relaxing experience, shade helps a lot.
I tried the space-smashing thing you mentioned on Outfrost's stream and this happened 😅

(and it kept stable after at least 5 or 6 pieces)

Pretty nice! I love me a tetris-type game, though not being able to slow drop & place the b locks like I would in tetris was confusing, as well as having infinite time to decide how to place my blocks, and for whatever reason my mind felt like the yellow square blocks should have been 4b4 cubes instead of half of that lol, nothing else felt off, my brain just can't handle 3D Tetris I guess.
I had to restart the game in the beginning as the controls are only on the menu and I couldn't figure out how to exit the gameplay to go re-read them when I had forgotten everything but WASD after testing out left ctrl+R in the main menu. I really liked the music, might have been nice to have some sound effects for the collisions between blocks so as to have that sort of clunky stacking-things-up vibe, and I enjoyed the memey choice of game over screen. The online leaderboard was a fun touch.
I find not being able to slot my pieces together the way I would in tetris to be a general discourager, as it makes it feel like it's more up to luck whether I get good blocks or bad blocks to do anything with. I mostly just piled up the bad blocks on the side of the table, and I lost after accidentally hitting spacebar twice when dropping on of my pieces.
I think this game would benefit from either looking less like Tetris, or controlling more similarly to Tetris in terms of the ability to soft drop a piece to position it more accurately. Overall, pretty cool game!
A fun take on tetris, incorporates the theme well and the little spikes and extra blocks add a nice bit of challenge. I wish the controls would be a little less complex, but it does make sense that you give the player the options you do. A pretty solid entry I just don't understand the table, because the table itself seems to be the most stable thing in the game. :D

Props for adding volume control. Fun take on the theme, and funny that I didn't know this existed when I made my game. 😁

I will settle for tying with Arthurds. Your games are addictive as always, gg. I didn't understand the Ctrl+R for reset instead of just R, but I now understand how you wouldn't want to accidently hit it with so many other key controls.
Interesting use of Unity physics.

Great job! We made pretty similar games but it's fun to see the different mindsets that they can require. Yours makes me want to play super carefully, take my time, consider the builds, and line up the drop as best I can.

Dope game Pomo! Nice music pick too haha I'm glad you got a game in even though I'm pretty sure you said you werent gonna do one xD only suggestion I have is some on screen controls (mostly for rotating the blocks I think, but maybe the other controls too)
Something like this, but off to the side, smaller and cleaner :P controls.png
The leaderboards are a great addition to the game to add replayability trying to beat high scores and I love the name too!
Congratulations on the game, it reminded me of my childhood that I piled things at home but when they fell they didn't explode but broke and consequently I got beaten up by my mother hahaha, thank you for reminding me, great game, if you can give feedback on my game I will be grateful, a big hug.

Cool game concept. I like variation in shapes of blocks, and that there are not only regular Tetris shapes. Good job with the game.

Hey there! This game was a bit confusing to play for me, too much buttons on the keyboard but I really enjoyed the concept! Thanks for joining us live!
I finally had the time to come back and rate everything I played so far!
