The music is nice and the visuals are clean. And the snake gameplay is definitely some old tech :D

It's nice to have obstacles on the level, however sometimes gems spawn in a corner you can't reach. I had one stuck between an edge of the map and a mountain, like the last chip in a Pringles can :) This is not really a problem, however, since there is a lot of stuff to pick up anyway.

PC controls can take some time to get used to. Maybe making it a tank-controls scheme would be a bit easier to get into?

Congratulation for your game ! I've never seen hexagonal snake before and it's quite challenging ! I tried to push my high score and I ended with a score of 12 ! It takes some time to understand the logic but it's still fun, and feels great to play !
