@arity it should be working now! I set the wrong file to load. Are you on MacOS or Linux? Those versions are coming today, as i had trouble compiling them.

Edit: Nevermind, it still seems not to work. I'm compiling the Linux and Mac builds

I downloaded the MacOS build but it seems to just be a zip of the Contents folder of an app - I can't seem to start the actual app

Not bad at all, I liked the main idea of the concept !

However, I think that it misses some elements to fully get in the game, which are for me: - The sound feedbacks, I would have like good strong sound when I shoot with the shotgun - I think that it misses information on the UI, like hints of where we have to go, or the objectives, in order to keep the player focused on the purpose of his mission - I found that the shoots where too unprecise, indeed, sometimes I could shoot several times, even empty totally my ammunation, that I couldn't kill the enemy

I liked the music, I found that it fits well with the nervous gameplay !

Overall, gg for your work !

@edalbung Thanks for your feedback! You are right, the sound effects are missing. We started making them in the final hours of the jam, and we couldn't get them to sound right. After many failed attempts, we compromised and added music only.

i liked the direction the game was going however certain parts , stuff was unclear such as where you had to go next and stuff. The artwork and music fits very well with the game. Overall i enjoyed it. Good concept.

Nice little game, i really liked the concept and the graphics. The sound effecte are missing tho and the music is a bit repeated. One problem i saw was that the ammunation wasn't working very good and i believe it would be better if the main character had a pistol or an automatic weapon. Overall nice game, good atmosphere and graphics.

It looks very cool, but it wasn't very clear what to do or what story was behind the bodies lying around. Also the reloading takes too long

The controls outside of the building don't seem to work very well. They go full lock to the left (in my case). I also found it quite difficult to aim.

Reload is way too long. The ammo cap on the AK47 makes it impractical. I did love the art style and the enemy alerts above their heads.

Nice enemy AI implementation, music got a bit much quite quickly but I enjoyed trying to figure out what to do.

Congrats on the entry! I like the graphics. the hard shadows. I read the opening message so I understand it was rushed, which is unlucky. Good job getting it up though!

My suggestion would be to speed some things up. Make the player faster, make their bullets faster, make them reload faster, make them auto reload, etc. Things already in the game just needed to be tuned up!

@ismael-rodriguez i was going to introduce player classes into the game. they would have different stats, like health and speed, but we ran out of time. I think i'm going to continue the developement, because i always wanted to make a rougelike

Interesting project which could be improved with more time and some new features. The main aesthetic is clean. I am not a big fan of this genre, but you did something good in less than 3 days. Impressive. Continue developing it and it will become a full game. Well done ++

pretty good graphics and sound for a 3 day project! The controls felt like they responded differently while shooting, like the direction you are facing is treated as "up" rather than the top of the monitor being up. Also, it's very easy to die when too many enemies spawn close together. Still, well done, this could make an interesting roguelike with a little more polish.

Good graphics. I think the game would be better if it was more clear what to do because to be honest I found myself confused. I liked the art and music, if there were more sound effects it would be even better! Good for a 3 day game jam!

It had extremely bad performance on my (somewhat powerful) computer, so I was not able to make it past the first room unfortunately.

@fractal What platform were you on? Could you please provide your PC details? I was testing it on lower-end computers and it was still playable, however the game is not well optymised, because I had no time for that.

@bajtix On Linux (Ubuntu 18.04). It was at the first room, there was a lot of enemies firing a lot of bullets and it was basically unplayable :( I have a laptop with an Intel Core i7 CPU (although only an integrated graphics card).

@fractal I haven't tested this game on platforms other than windows during the jam. However, I tested it just now on an old laptop with Ubuntu, Intel Celeron N2840 and it was -as you said- unplayable. I'm not sure what is really causing this problem, I think It's something with the build. The game isn't well optymised, but it ran pretty well on lower end Windows PC's.
