Solid platformer, I wish the move speed accelerated a little less exponentially, it made the character a bit hard to control especially in the air. The shooting was satisfying, and the grenade was good as well. Good game!
simple mechanics and easy to understand, I really liked the general concept of shrinking down to the size of the tiny creatures, good way to interpret the theme!
What Duke Nukem Forever should have been
This game is very well done! Wish the physics were worked a little more so the wall jump would be easier to control and more satisfying. The humor is 5/5, and it's impressive that you guys could add even character voice to it =)

I love the concept and the humor: well executed! I found the controls too floaty, but was ok once I got used to it. Also I wish I needed the grenades more, they were satisfying. Great job!

Hell yeah, awesome movement, it felt really cripsy. Also a fun concept!
Nice entry, I had fun with it. Platforming was a little difficult at first because the guy moves fast, but I guess that's just how the Rex-Terminator rolls. The flying bug section was brutal! There doesn't seem to be any limit to how many of them spawn, and if you die they don't reset. Shit's hardcore!
Graphics and music work well together, and the voice acting is top notch. Trust me, I know what bad voice acting sounds like...
Nice game, but the movements aren't fluid
Excellent job on this project! The movement and wall jump mechanics really stood out to me; they were incredibly smooth and engaging, making me feel fully immersed in the action. It perfectly captured the power and agility of the protagonist, which made the gameplay truly exhilarating.
I also have to compliment the cutscenes—seeing cutscenes in a game jam project is not something I expected. While they might not be the most polished, they effectively conveyed the game's narrative and gave me a solid sense of how the story unfolds. It added a layer of depth that I really appreciated.
My only critique would be that the goal of the game could be clearer. The bugs seem to regenerate indefinitely after being killed, and it left me feeling unsure if there was an ultimate objective beyond simply increasing the kill count. It might help to have a clearer sense of progression or some way to show that you are making meaningful progress towards a specific goal. That said, the different levels with increasingly challenging bugs helped mitigate this, adding variety and keeping the gameplay fresh.
Overall, fantastic work! The mechanics, the cutscenes, and the challenge progression made for a very enjoyable experience. Keep up the great effort!

The sound of the character taking damage is very cool. Wall jumps work well, and make moving around fluid and fun.
Nice game! The gameplay is fun I really liked the audio and voice over, Rex's barks are hilarious. Also the intro in very nice addition to understand the context of the game. If I had to make one comment though, controlling the character is quite difficult, there's a lot of inertia in the movement and it can get a bit frustrating not being able to go where you want/sliding off platform. I feel like this is part of the challenge of the game but I would have liked feeling a bit more in control. In any case, good job!
I had difficulty with the controls so I kept on falling down but I enjoyed the audio and voice over. It feels like you were going for some acceleration in the movement but most platformers get to full speed very quickly so that they feel more responsive.
I really appreciated the flashlight beam interaction with objects in the scene.
Fun concept. Great usage of theme. My issue with the game is the controls. They're too slippery for how fast they are. The wall jumps also feel inconsistent. The checkpoints also spawned me on top of enemies. I would also clear an enemy on a wall and jump onto the wall only for an enemy to spawn immediately and damage me.

Great job! You can really see a whole team made this game! The graphics are great and the gameplay is very fun! Wish there were more bug species, but one was enough. I imagine a cartoon or TV show about Rex would be possible! He has a funny personality!
There is a problem with mixing the same sounds and sometimes very illiterate lvl design
Very good game! liked goofy gas bomb and dash sounds, i would recomend to make queen's hp restore every time you lose because i could just sit and hit her then revive and hit again, 5 stars anyways!
THIS IS WHAT IM TAKING ABOUT! I'll take inspiration from this going forward, because to me, this is what a jam game is all about. it's fun to play, but more so, I can tell that you had fun making it! and that's the whole point imo. we need more games like this
Super funny audio! 9 Deaths 148 kills and 440s to beat. I really like that you made it "easy" by just counting the deaths.
I enjoyed the platforming though it was little finicy and hard but got much easier after i realized you CAN and have to dash (always forget something when reading the controlls). Map design reminded of getting over it and other "rage" platformers, dont know if this intentional.

Always great to see a cutscene! Capture.PNG (2nd attempt) Liked the respawning enemies, it made the platforming a lot more strategic. Think the controls need some rate-limiting though, as I managed to pull off some suspect double jumps, and spamming dash lets you move VERY quickly. Had fun with this one, good job!

Difficult controls, so I only managed to get to the fourth level or so (with different enemies), but good idea and well done!
