Loved the art, music, and gameplay. It was pretty difficult to gauge how far the idol would get thrown, but that was probably a skill issue.

I know the name of the game is Bellhiver but I was not prepared for the giant bell falling out of the sky lmao. The grenade throw was a bit janky, it didn't seem to go any farther.
I definitely had a silly ol time. Loved the music, a bit janky overall, but i had a fun time.
I had a good amount of fun. The vision based gameplay was pretty enjoyable and left a lot of room creating some intense moments. I see that the music was reused, but I felt that it added to the experience. I did accidentally commit some friendly fire do to the attack mode turning on automatically after finishing a move when I was intending to move another unit. The AI seemed to be able to snipe me from very long distances which felt a bit unfair at times.
Good art, very much on theme, loved the creepy vibe. Gameplay was a bit trial and error-y for my taste, but I did enjoy seeing the character models when I was able to figure out how to summon each thing/monster/person.
@rumiaobsessed the font has been updated.
@aivaxela the harpy has been buffed, seems to be just about the right amount of effective now.
Loved the vibes and mechanics. I had a bit of trouble getting the summons to go where I wanted them. Overall it's a great concept.
Love the music, voice acting, narrative (once I figured out what the heck was going on), and world building.
I noticed some inconsistency in the implementation of the dialog. Sometimes the Narrator was in (parentheses), I think it was in [brackets] once, other times it was without either. Some of the spoken dialog had "quotes" when others didn't. Sometimes Ravi was referenced to as "The Player".
I enjoyed the combat quite a bit but it was almost never clear what was actually going on. In the very first combat, Ravi died before the camera was finished moving to center on the combat. I was not sure if that was part of the story and I had accidentally skipped something, or what. I also didn't figure out that I could revive the dragonflies until the last battle, but that might be a me problem.
I think extra time to polish everything up would go a long way. Regardless, this is quite an impressive experience for 72 hours. (I've been collecting my thoughts as I type this with the main menu music playing in the background, it's so good!)
Had a blast with this one, even the main menu was fun!
Very fun game! Like others pointed out, the build buttons were swapped for a couple of the barracks and I think the archer's arrows were blocking each other when fighting the cat? Adding more functionality to the commander would have been nice. Loved the art and mechanics and had a good time overall.
I thought I was doing pretty well until the hyper aggressive wiener-dogs came out of nowhere and taught me a lesson. Loved all the sound effects and music, and was surprised and hype when the music changed. The boss was also really fun to see at the end! My only real "complaint" was that I had a hard time using the pierce damage on more than like 2 or 3 enemies at a time, it seemed a bit inconsistent. I ended up playing through the game twice, nice job!
Vibes, music, gameplay, etc were all top notch! One of the better game jam games that I've played. Nice work!
Cristabel is the only character I could manage to win as therefore she is the best character. Loved the music and sound effects and loved to hear all the voice acting! FYI after my first win, it sounded like 3 different music tracks were playing over top of each other. Also it took me a hot minute to figure out what the heck was going on, but I had a great time once I did! Wish you could move the camera with WASD or arrow keys, but I didn't mind clicking the map either. Also, having to select my units every time I gave them a command was not ideal. Really nice job!
Loved everything about the game, one of the most polished jam games I've played.
This feels like a quintessential game jam game. Short, sweet, and on theme. I had a blast blasting those little fellas away. The grenade felt weirdly under-tuned, the small blast radius made it really hard to use.
The game was too hard for what I have time for at the moment, but I might come back and really try to beat it. I wish there was a way to repair the tower, even if slowly. Really liked the game overall, the music, sounds, and gameplay were all top notch.
Super smooth combat, loved the all the sound effects, music, and animations!
Pretty impressive for only a few hours of work! Like many of these other comments, I would also like to see a few more levels.
Immaculate vibes, great sprites and animations, loved the song. Would have liked to have heard bug sound effects but I can certainly understand their exclusion. Loved seeing the fly's idle animation.
I don't know what just happened but I live laughed loved it?
Super chaotic, loved the pun names, had a blast. I'm not sure if I just got lucky (or unlucky), but the difficulty spike for the last match seemed crazy high. Took me 6 or 7 tries to finally beat it. Still had a great time!
Perfect interpretation of the theme, the jamiest game jam game that ever game jammed, nice work!
Having music AND voice acting AND a cutscene is fantastic for a jam! I also really dug the blend of 2d sprites on a 3d background. Gameplay is simple yet addicting, the variety of guns was fun to see, and trying to maximize your ammo use before switching made things chaotic at times. Minor nitpick: I did feel like the health pickups could have healed for a bit more, the extra incentive to go for risky health pickups might add to the gameplay.
I had to grind through and flee 20ish fights after the very first to get enough proteins to actually win a second fight, after both sides not being able to kill the other every single time. Once I was able to get 3 organelles, I just stacked damage and won very easily.
I really enjoyed the concept and can see a very clear path for advancement with the game. Very much on theme as well.
It's always nice to hear music and sound effects in a jam game, let alone a solo project. Definitely loved how chaotic things can get if you don't take out enough of the bad shadow dudes.
Very similar in concept to what my team made! Great music and vibes overall, and I enjoyed having multiple types of guns to slay the bugs.
This might be the first game I've played where your health bar is a sandwich. Very fun overall, silly and on theme concept, and I liked that there's multiple guns. I also liked the music but it definitely overpowered everything else, it sounded like there was a voice line but the music drowns it out.
Awesome music, fun game play that kept me engaged, wish the boss had some more drama, but very well done otherwise.
You don't see too many interactive stories in this jam so that was a nice change of pace. Loved the narrative and the vibes!
Honestly the scariest part for me was that the enemy guys come at you butt first! But actually, I really enjoyed the vibes and concept. I'm glad you added the checkpoints, I definitely died a few more times than I should have which would have been fairly frustrating, if not for the checkpoints.
One of the more unique concepts I've seen in the jam! The music and art were great and I really enjoyed the characters you've created. It felt a little strange to only get the context of the debate, i.e. make up of the crowd, after you're finished. Overall, the consequences of your choices felt a bit random.
Love the neon effect, loved the almost Geometry wars vibe. The sound effects you had were also quite good. Weirdly the best control scheme for me was using the joystick on a controller with my left hand with my right hand being on my mouse for attacking and changing direction, WASD movement was too imprecise to get in and out of the doors easily.
Highscore of 1669! Difficulty wise, about depth 7 or 8 felt like the sweet spot for me. I used the rapid fire and bouncing shot just about equally and only occasionally used the piercing shot, it just felt a bit less useful than the other two. Music and sound effects were also very good. It was nice to see a few enemy types too. I wish there were more upgrades, but honestly it's just nice seeing upgrades at all.
Impressive game given the time constraints! 10/10 sound effects.
Overall I had a very fun time! The graphics were very nice to look at and when combined with the lighting made this a very visually satisfying experience. Similarly, the music really helped tie the whole experience together. I think I see what you're going for with how sensitive the controls are, but it just went a bit too far for me. The rings were decently forgiving which definitely helped make up for my lack of finesse. I do also appreciate that I could play this game with just my left hand, freeing my right hand up to pet me cat while I played. Maybe that's why it took me 10 minutes to get past level 3... Speaking of which, the difficulty spike between levels 2 and 3 felt pretty huge. The intensity of the gameplay also felt good, there's constantly a very strong sense of urgency.
I was having a great time, loved the music, the flow of the roots, the simple yet addictive gameplay. And then the music and vibe changed all together and then I had an even better time. I could only get just shy of 400k, but I did try a good few times. There were a couple of occasions where I was blessed/cursed by rng so my roots where shooting off way ahead of the camera.
excellent speedrunning game! Very satisfying to land a jump after many failed attempts.
I, too, first assumed the XP orbs were out to get me. Turns out I was right, but also wrong. Not many games let you have 13 laser beams when you left click, but this game does and that's what I appreciates about it. The rockets began to grow on me once they started getting bigger than my little yellow submarine. Something like random, limited time only power ups (i.e. even more lasers, or even more bigger explosions, etc) could be a simple way to enhance the already fun gameplay.
Simple concept with basically endless replayability. I definitely said, "okay one more try" more than once. Thumbs up!
Simple yet enjoyable gameplay, a couple of the constellations were tricky to figure out and caused me some confusion. Very impressive to have a complete story, with cutscenes, and some clever voice work. The sound effects were a nice addition.
I think I had more fun with this than I should have. The movement was very fluid and I was having a good time juking out the mermaids and fish. Very solid first attempt, keep up the good work!
