Very funny game, I really like the characters. Some of the text falls out of bounds of the text box and can be a bit difficult to read. I really like the animal talking sounds!
I love this one! I think it is really cute and a really interesting concept. I love the animal crossing style speech sounds, they cracked me up. I wasn't fully sure how to win but I think that is kind of the point of a game like this, it is about experimenting and learning the systems so that isn't necessarily bad.
Neat! Was fun to kind of feel out the audience and see what they respond to. I like this concept of having to play to your audience and reminds me of a questline in Jade Empire. Was fun to see that concept come up again in a game!
Made me feel like a politician in a debate! loved the music, great writing. I'll probably come back and play some more when I get the chance.
It was interesting to stand in a politicians shoes for a moment and remember that if they want to win, they HAVE to say what the voters want to hear, not necessarily what they really think or feel. I loved the graphics and audio. What an adorable way to get a player thinking. Good Job!
Great job with the character design and with audio! Also, you've done so much to make the game replayable, with character choice, random opponents and random questions. It would be cool if there was a little bit more interactivity with the crowd.
Also, if instead of going for random questions, you made the set of questions pre-determined, I think the questions could build up into some kind of story. As for random questions, they feel... well random. 😄
Still, I really enjoyed the game. Well done!
Pretty cool concept, although I am not really sure how I won. I wasn't able to really know who I was supposed to be appeasing in the crowd, it seems random if I can pick the "correct" stance on something depending on the audience?
One of the more unique concepts I've seen in the jam! The music and art were great and I really enjoyed the characters you've created. It felt a little strange to only get the context of the debate, i.e. make up of the crowd, after you're finished. Overall, the consequences of your choices felt a bit random.
