Pineapple Burger Pizza by godsboss 2023-10-03T15:47:57Z
I think this game is trying to tell me that nobody likes fish on their pizza. Shoes on the other hand seem to be very popular :D

What better to do after 3 days of creating pixel art? Create some more pixel art! Great game :D
Great idea and really well done! Very tricky :D
It's so addicting :D Really cool idea! (z is a bit of an unfortunate keybinding for quertz keyboards)
Fun small game :D Reminds me of Overcooked where you just run around and do the same stuff over and over, but somehow it's fun. I think more buildings would add a lot to the game.
I also have the "controls getting stuck" bug, on firefox :/
Yes, fixed, thank you! It's really fun, I love that you don't have to block, you can also just hit enemies while they charge at you.
Really clever and also amazing art and sound! Great work! It's insane that you were able to achieve this in only 3 days! Unfortunately the complex shapes are very buggy :D
Really cool how you brought a whole new side to a classic game! I love it! My high score is 103 :)
I first thought the mouse controls were not working, but then I realized the mouse sensitivity is just really low. Firefox on Linux.
It was still fun to play though :D Also it's very impressive that you used your own engine!
This is so much fun I can do this for hours
The mouse sensitivity was insanely high for me xD. I didn't quite understand what was going on, I could see some crates bouncing around and a truck.
Awesome idea, the levels are actually really difficult :D Also it's very polished. Good job!
Thank you all for the feedback! Unfortunately we had no time left to add sound :/
Sadly the game does not load for me on this page (no game does). Maybe consider uploading it somewhere else (like on itch.io) :)
Never thought parking could be fun :D Great job! I managed to get 95% accuracy
I managed to deliver a fried egg and a toast, but got stuck on boiling water :( Also the physics are somewhat broken, but that just adds to the fun :D
@cisco @yoanntsitionis Thank you! It actually does run on mobile :D
The atmosphere is incredible, and the feeling of sinking into the depths is unreal!
I love everything about this: The CRT monitor effect, the music and especially the level design!
@exofrenon I just realized I could've used a controller, the control scheme for the controller is good! For keyboard: The keys Q, E, Z are pretty far away from each other + I have a german keyboard, where Y and Z are swapped. Also I'm used to WASD instead of arrow keys. I probably would've done this: Walk: WASD, Attack: Left Mouse, Defend: Right Mouse
It took me a bit to figure out how I had to play, but I managed to achieve victory! Nicely done
This is too accurate! Would have loved an option to go see a doctor and skip to the end ;)
Really fun, although it's a bit beyond my skill level :D
This is so well done. It's so well balanced and incredibly addictive. I wish there were achievements like "complete a round without taking damage" or "complete a round in under 15 seconds" (to double down on the collector theme :D)
Unfortunately the controls were pretty broken for me, so I couldn't really play it. But the atmosphere was nice and graphics looked cool :)
@pegasys I think it's a problem on firefox. On chrome its running fine. On firefox: If I go into fullscreen, the mouse sensitivity is way too low. If I'm not in fullscreen the camera constantly looks upwards as soon as the mouse gets captured (when I click)
This is so cute and the music is so nice :)
Did you actually opt out of the Graphics category??
Ooh I see, that's the reason. I mean in this case it's correct to opt out. Just know that it looks incredible, especially considering the timeframe you created this in! :D
Another bug game, awesome! You really nailed the atmosphere
Incredible, I'm rich!
That's so cool! I once also implemented ray tracing in WebGL, it's definitely not easy! I don't understand what's going on when I stand next to a wall (wall to my right/left). What are those reflections? Do the balls have a spotlight?
Heyy, another PSX style game :D You really nailed the assets, they look very PSX style
@andriybyelikov Unfortunately there are some places in the map where the truck can get stuck, sorry about that. Usually the stutters disappear after at most 30 seconds, even on my laptop with an iGPU. Or was the framerate constantly low for you?
@mateusboga Thanks so much for playing and streaming it! It was very fun watching you figure out the game :) I was the one to optimize the web export and unfortunately the game ran absolutely fine on my PC, even in the browser. I didn't realize the lag was THAT bad on other peoples PCs.
@nondev Thanks, it's the same dithering pattern games on PS1 used. If you're interested in that maybe you wanna give "Why Did PS1 Games Look Like That?" from Acerola on YouTube a watch.
@frau-blut-kranz Thanks! You can actually play with controller, only the menu doesn't work with a controller. The controls are:
| Action | Mapping | | ---------- | ------------------------ | | Steer | Left Stick | | Accelerate | Right Trigger | | Decelerate | Left Trigger | | Boost | A (Xbox) / X (Sony) | | Magnet | X (Xbox) / Square (Sony) | | Drift | B (Xbox) / Circle (Sony) |
@itero-proto It's becauss Godots WebGL Support is pretty lackluster, especially with Particles, which we use a lot. I spent a lot of time trying to fix it, but couldn't find a workaround :/ You can try the Windows build though, it runs fine.
OMG yes achievements!! While driving backwards you steer in the wrong direction as in other games, that makes it SO much harder
Can I do something else besides walk around? Is this finished yet?
Ooh now I get it, that's actually pretty cool! And now there were actually other people running around playing the game :)
I absolutely love the art style and the vibe of this! Good job! But I think 3 minutes would probably have been enough xD
This is extremely cool and satisfying! Love the sounds and the effects! I see this is not your first game of this type :D. Unfortunately my brain can't handle the controls at all (I want to jump with space!). Also genuine question, why would someone use ZQSD to move?
I believe I am supposed to place buildings. Unfortunately I can't read any of it and randomly pressing buttons didn't get me very far xD.
This idea is genius! It's really addicting and it feels so good to catch a shape barely in time! Only the button mapping can feel a bit unfair (when you have to move left and press q to change the shape. Maybe the arrow keys could have been used to cycle through the shapes?
Thanks for the feedback :). It's true, the game itself isn't much of a game. It was more an experiment to see in which areas my physic engine still lacks when actually creating something with it.
@ionax OMG such a cool tower!! 4.37/5
@cloverfall That's awesome, what kind of physics? When I started building my physics engine I had no idea that 2 years later I would still be working on it :D It gets complicated fast
@sharky3188 Thanks for the feedback! I did plan to do something like that, but unfortunately my engine doesn't handle stacking other shapes well yet, so I had to stick to spheres.
@paroxysmal Thanks for mentioning that, I didn't even consider it. If I build such controls in the future, I'll add it.
@niterich Ooh yeah you're right left click would have been a much better choice :D Thanks!
You made this in 48 hours with graphics and audio?? That's really cool! And it's actually fun to play as well, good job :D. One small critique: At the beginning I saw the red and green lights but didn't get that I could interact with them.
@megurt That's smart, creates a cool vibe and is perfect for a jam! Maybe I'll do white lines + glow too in the future :D
I've converted them all to stone (?), then they followed me and I lured them into the portal (?). I'm a bit confused xD. But it was fun figuring it out, although I'm sure I missed something :D
Really nice art and sound and it has a cool atmosphere. The game is fun, but its a bit unfair later when there are too many enemies and you can't handle them all.
It took a bit but once I understood it was pretty fun! It's nice to see a rhythm game! I've only one small thing to critisize: The sound of a successful button press is played slightly delayed and is therefore off beat, which kinda threw me off.
