I really liked the game graphics, they look amazing and I enjoyed playing it.
Unfortunately the controls were pretty broken for me, so I couldn't really play it. But the atmosphere was nice and graphics looked cool :)
Very relaxing game, music and vibe fantastic!
@timo5034 would you be able to elaborate more on what was broken? we've not noticed anything like that at all on our end
That was a fun little experience! Very relaxing :D love the visuals and the many music tracks. Gameplay is pretty shallow but that's what makes it comfy, so good job :D
Really nice and cozy game. Really got into a flow state once I picked up the solar recharge
Very lovely feel to the game, the metal detecting mechanics are great despite taking a while to get used to. Nice music and atmosphere. (we also did a metal detecting game)
Fun and relaxing! Did you make the music yourself?
@rinzu @vinnnie @frib @malte-hedenstrom @harleylikesmusic @martynas-dargis Thanks guys!
and yes, music is all by our composer @theoconfidor
Sorry, I can see that you mentioned it in the description. I loved the music - it really helped set the mood
I love how many little details there are, like the graffiti and tag behind the board. But also I took a couple of minutes to just stand under the beach umbrella and look out into the ocean, cuz this game is soooo chill! Wouldn't a metal detector beep next to a metal fence?
Really pretty and cozy game! the enviroment looks amazing and I love the music. It's fun just to walk and enjoy the ambience but the game also lets you upgrade your equipment in a pretty in depth way.
@pegasys I think it's a problem on firefox. On chrome its running fine. On firefox: If I go into fullscreen, the mouse sensitivity is way too low. If I'm not in fullscreen the camera constantly looks upwards as soon as the mouse gets captured (when I click)
The beach scene is really relaxing! Also the music is very good, it makes everything fun
Very good mood, love the atmosphere and clever gameplay.
This game is so chill! I feel totally relaxed playing it 😌🎮
This was a lovely game... I loved the graphics and atmosphere
I'm really enjoying my time with this game. It perfectly captures the joy of being a collector. One small piece of feedback: the feedback from digging could be a bit more impactful and intuitive to make those discovery moments even more rewarding.By the way, the background music can be a bit loud at times, which sometimes masks the crucial metal detector audio. Making the discovery feedback more intuitive would also greatly improve the experience.
The idea is very interesting! I really like the form of the game operation guide and the staff list that appeared at the beginning, but the game music is a bit too loud and I can't hear the signal sound clearly.
@hanarioi @sakuraya Thank you so much for the feedback. You helped us find an interesting bug with the audio. The metal detector audio source was never adjusting it's volume based on the setting in the pause menu. That's been fixed now and should sound a lot more reasonable at higher volumes.
This game is so insanely relaxing, what a treat! I was really enjoying the music from the lil radio singing away while I was collecting all my metal trash. Loved it!
Very fun experience, but much harder than I thought XD
unique game. Definitly feels like a game made in Unreal so I'm suprised it was a Unity game. I do wish there was a sprint button
It was very hard, but i like. The music is perfect and the graphics
A unique 3d game with unique graphics.Still, a nice game.
@timo5034 @pegasys I think this is a Unity problem. I have this as well with 3d Unity games on browser (both Chrome and Firefox). The mouse movement kept spacing left and right for me. If you ever upload a Windows build I'll give it another go ^^
Anyway~ The game was pretty fun, really chill and having a metal detector didn't even come to mind when this theme was announced, but it fits great. The art and audio fits really nice with the mood of the game as well. Props for how much you've added!
@jvdwijk Thanks for letting us know. I've made a windows build that's available to download on the itch page. Do you know if that was introduced recently? The latest version of unity after they patched the vulnerability has been very buggy.
Amazing audio and visuals, congrats x)
The audio and graphics were very completed and unified, it was also very fun to slowly upgrade and collect treasures in the sand :) Great job!

I'm just parroting everyone else but great vibes in this one. I struggled to get a decent frame rate in full screen but in windowed, it worked well. Also the text on the sign was a little bit hard to read because of a blur effect but I'm just nitpicking.
Otherwise, a good concept that's fleshed out enough for a game jam to feel like a complete experience. Nice one!
Really fun and chill entry ! :smile: I liked the concept and visuals. Maybe it would have been great to see all the items collected during the game, and some visual FX to go along with the sound effects of metal detecting. But overall, it was a great game, congrats ! :clap:
Thanks for the feedback. @egrassah @kvn @huihang @l6ria @bluedingo @fan @re-markable
@norah You can see the items collected if you go over to the trash collection. CosmogonicFrog's image shows what that would look like. Great suggestion for the visual effects. Thanks for playing.
@cosmogonicfrog Wow I can't believe you collected every item. That's insanely impressive. Thanks for spending so much time on our game. We really appreciate it. Were you running on web or windows? Would like to see if I can figure out the performance issues.
@roitchie No worries! I enjoyed it :)
I'm on Pop_OS! (basically Ubuntu) and was playing the browser version in Zen browser (basically FireFox). I use an AMD GPU as well if that matters. I also have some pretty weird browser settings so it's entirely possible that it's just a me issue. Hope that helps.
Loved this! It's so chill, and looks really nice. All I would say is to maybe add a way to sprint. Also, I kinda wish my digging left holes in the ground lol.
Wow, great game! Kept on playing for a long time. It was hard to stop. Great progression with all the upgrades and it just felt fun walking around looking for things in the sand. Chill vibes! ^^
Really impressed by the amount of work done in such a short time!!! Well played and the sound part is really well thought :D
Cool & beautiful game! Kudos for making it run smoothly in browser, too!
Chill game with a nice theme :)
What a fun game! The music is very well done, I can't believe its all done in one weekend :heart_eyes: The graphics are gorgeous too. And the gameplay is very well done. I went in blind, so when I read the instructions on the board, I felt happy as a kid running up the beach to dive right into metal-collecting!
@eloc @bacontree @kagegona @thomas-bringer @katis @wouter52
We all had lots of fun making it and put a lot of effort in, so thank you all for playing and leaving lovely comments ❤️
Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)
