Loved this game!! I had a fun time. After a couple tries I ended up winning, but for some reason my score said 00000, earlier I was able to upload a highscore of 3000 something though. Look may be deceiving, the graphics are simple, but the game itself is very fun! :smile:
Very cool and unexpected! I managed to get to the "sentient room" but I didn’t have any ammo left in the gun, so I’m not sure how I was supposed to go further.
Great concept and pretty fun! The explosions were quite satisfying. I did find the rat grabbing and throwing to be a bit finicky, I think making the grab hitbox bigger and increasing the throwing power might make the game a bit more fun. I liked the basketball bit but never had enough time to make enough shots to get the reward. Overall the game felt a bit relentless, especially at the beginning as I was learning how to play, so I wonder if a more wave-based spawning system might make things better. Great intro and vibe too. Nice work!
The difficulty ramps up pretty darn quick with this one. It'd have been nice for there to be some time allocated to get used to the hoop throwing mechanic without also needing to juggle the cheese and rat murder at the same time.
There's a bug where when you throw the cheese, it sometimes never registers as having landed, so that the rats continuously go after the player instead. I may or may not have used that to my advantage...
Did couple tries, on second i got to the sentient room but lost to sanity.
I like the frantic managment of different task and it was really fun to play. The mechanics arent that clear how they work but the game is forgiving so you get to test them out. I am not sure i undrestood everything but i think thats part of the charm.
Really nice expecially for a compo game.
@fractal Thanks for playing! Besides the shotgun, you could use explosive rats to damage the rubber room. Alternatively, every additional throw in the hoop after getting the shotgun will result in extra ammo drops.
very fun game once i knew whatwas going on lol, took a minute to realize how to throw the rats around. i like the esplody ones
Once I figured out to use the green rats as a weapon, it was over for the other rats! Really did like the simple design and the funny banter between the character and the operator. As already mentioned, the grabbing of the rats with "E" was a little bit unclean and I often had to click multiple times - even tough the command to grab was on the screen.
But overall a really nice entry!
The soundtrack, voice lines, and story elements make the game feel very complete. The gameplay is fun and frantic, but I occasionally struggled to pick things up. Great work!

Awesome stuff! I like how you all set the tone with the bit of intro. Took me a while to figure out that I could pickup the mouse hahah but I loved the explosions, its so unexpected but adds a lot! Great work!!!
OH MY GOD I remember playing the other game last year!! this is the sequel I didn't know I needed. Loved this one, it's genuinely so fun.
the gameplay is engaging and addictive. I really like that you have to take a risk in order to get the rewards, but they are very useful so it's worth trying. I had so much playing catch with the cheese and throwing the exploding rats into the swarm was very satisfying
Also The voice acting is silly but in the best way
this is genuinely one of the most fun games I have played so far, you did very well on this game, congrats!
