Fun classic tower-climb type of game. Appreciate the voice over and the sound effects, combine with the artwork it made the game very funny to play. The music was also a vibe. Lots of variation of power-ups and obstacles as you climb. I found the game quite easy, never ended up using the dash. Great entry!
Really fun I - I like it even though it was made on unity and im a pygame guy - but the difficulty level was high

The side swap on the double jump got the best of me and my boss is in the room so need to take a break but it's a fun little game. I espeically enjoyed that you don't die if you mess up by spikes/fireballs but just lets you know "you messed up X times".
Will be back for some more

Pretty game with fitting music. Icy Tower like gameplay is also well done. All twists to the gameplay are also really enjoyable and easy to understand. Overall, really good game

a very funny game, and our character looks like some kind of cartoon character to me, which makes it even more fun!
A lot of good things in this game! The music is sick, the narration is funny, and the mechanics keep evolving as you play, which is fun. There are a few things that made this game unnecessarily frustrating to play though. The fact that dying from objects returns you to a checkpoint, but dying from the lava sends you back to the start just feels bad as a mechanic. Also, the choice to have the mouse button be dash for a keyboard platformer is uncomfortable. I also didn't memorize what the dash hotkey was, so when that mechanic was introduced, I panic pressed buttons on my keyboard to try to dash but died in what felt like an unfair way. That last one can simply be fixed by having some on screen text to remind the player how to dash when it's introduced. Overall, the aspects of the game that feel unintuitive to the player can mostly be fixed fairly quickly. And again, banger music. Well done!
@jonathan-vinesar thanks for you feedback! Appreciate it
Very impressive feature set for a jam game. Nice visuals and music! One issue I had was that after dying (and I died a lot), you’re sent back to the menu and have to go through quite a few clicks to get back into the game. Otherwise - bom trabalho!

I went straight for hardcore got to depth 12 and will be coming back to finish it. Love the voice over, sick music, tight controls and beautiful effects. Only thing that is slightly annoying as a hardcore gamer like myself is dying brings me to the main menu, then I have to see the controls again. So each death costs me like 30 seconds in IRL time. Probably would have beat the game with that extra time. Really fun though!

Very accomplished on the audio-visual side of things, the presentation is super polished. The "announcer" (who kinda sounds like squidward, lol) is a nice touch.
Gameplay is great too. The core formula may be simple and common but it's well executed and the high amount of different mechanics you managed to squeeze in continuously modify the gameplay so it never feels stale. Also, good decision to not have all hazards be an insta kill.
Minor nitpicks on the "meta" side of things: For a game like this it takes a little too long to get back in the game after dying, especially since all the "delays" in navigating the menu don't really to the experience. Also, even more minor of a nitpick, the dash being listed alongside other controls that are available right from the start left me a little confused as to why click didn't do anything, initially making me think it was an input issue on my end. But maybe that's just me since no one else mentioned it :D
The game is quite interesting, very beautiful art and soundtrack.
Wow man, this game is very good at graphics and sound, the music is very cool, love the trailer too LoL. The voice is lovely but it would be better if you had pushed your voice more bass and a little bit louder. Gameplay is fun and new things keep coming up! Great work!

Very fun game, I didn't manage to beat it (due to a skill issue on my side) but I had a blast playing. The music ties everything together nicely.
In essence a simple platformer, but made so much more fun by voice acting and many aditional obstacles and abilities. It was a bit slow for me, but I assume it depends on each persons skill level. Graphics and sound were cute too, voice reminded me a bit of devil artemis. Controls are solid and I haven't seen any bugs, only thing is that I was trying to use dash at the start of the game after reading instructions, that could be dynamic.
@yancharkin @str8griz We are gonna try to adjust to be possible coming back without going to main menu

@gabrielgamedev Awesome, tag me when it is done and I will come back and finally escape the Depths of Hell!
Cool jam game and nice take on the theme. Nice graphics and arcade style music, was pretty fun and challenging! Good work!
Super fun game, gameplay loop is simple and works well! music and visuals are a really great fit, too!
This is pretty cool! Nice degree of challenge, good and consistent visual aesthetic, and well done audio. It felt really polished for a game jam game.

Fun voice over and overall great entry. I died in the first second i think and with each try been addin 3-5 seconds to that score. I guess i am not good at it :))

Gooood Game. Platformer controls felt good. I like how different hazards were introduced as the game progressed. The voice acting is nice

Really awesome jam entry! The graphics and sound design stand out a lot — everything feels super polished for a jam game. The music fits the vibe perfectly, and I love how the voice acting adds personality to the gameplay.
The game is pretty challenging, but the art, the music and the sound effects create a great mood for this theme.
Cool game with good controls, I can't think of anything to add that people haven't said already, just wanted to say well done on this one. It came out great!
Bom.

This was great! The music and the voiceover was awesome! The platforming worked nicely, especially the movement skills work very well. If I had to nitpick, I could say the movement is a bit too floaty to my taste. Also, it seems if you jump at a platform from the side, it'll block your horizontal movement, whereas jumping up from below lets you go through the platform. This caused me to die a couple of times awkwardly . Also, I agree with the previous commenters that restarting the run after dying takes too long. In this type of game I would like to immediately jump into another run when I die.
Those are really minor gripes, though. Overall you did a fantastic job here!
Hello, thanks everybody for the feedbacks and we are glad you liked the game and the art. We created a better flow to return to the gameplay more quickly after dying and we also adjusted the collision of the platforms horizontally. We will update soon @juutis @matthewdrake
This was a pretty fun game, although I didn't get past the bit where everything was unleashed haha, the voiceover was silly and really fun!
Amazing experience! I love the soundtrack!

cool visualization and good sound, a very long restart, I want it right after the loss.
Really good game!
I feel like the game overall is at a high standard. It got gfx, sounds, lots of mechanics, progression - and feedback, soo much feedback
I think the start was a bit rough however. I understand that you probably just forgot - but leaving the dash in the first controls pop up made me die like 4 times before I decided that I probably couldn't dash. And I think the death felt too punishing. I really think it would have been nice with a retry/menu before leaving the scene when falling in the lava. Two clicks in menu, transition, and controls popup felt like to big of a hurdle to try again.
I think it's great that you introduce mechanics in succession, and have a stage specific to teach that mechanic, but the game felt so much better after you got the double jump and dash. Maybe you could have split the game into two phases. First one with shorter, mechanic specific floors, with no lava. And once enough mechanics are online for the platforming to feel slick - then add the lava. Basically make the first 7 or so floors a third of the length and add lava on the 8th. I died around floor 10 and I'd easily have given it another go if I had had the mechanics when restarting, or a short climb to get there.
This is a small thing, but longer invincibility after taken damage would also been great, I got a bit stun locked by a fireball  maybe they could explode on impact and just be destroyed
Obviously time is always the issue, and playtesting is so damn hard to squeeze in at the end, so I totally understand why then start wasn't tuned perfect. And just in the first half that I saw, there already were so much content!
Anyways really good job

It's so much fun, every depth has a different gameplay and the music is great!
So the pace of the game is well balanced, the different gimmick are smart, beautiful graphics, and Wow the megadrive style music is sooo cool. Well done guys !
Great graphics and audio — especially the announcer! The movement and jump balance felt really good too. I made it to section 12, but I think this genre just isn’t my strongest 😅 Still, I had fun playing it!

Super fun oldschool climber. Loved the sounds/music and art. I reached the level with fireballs...! :) Well done!!
Loved the mix of platforming and surprises.... each level felt like a new challenge!)
The graphics are really cute and reminds me of an oldschool infinite jumper. The mood and atmosphere is great!
Yet, I must admit, the controls feel a bit clunky. A bit like on ice. Also when jumping on the platforms from the side, it seems there is a bit of a collision sometimes. It sometimes felt like I was getting stuck? Maybe it was just me tho.
I love the music xD funny game, well done :)
So cute and polish game! It would be cool if you'll add restart button rather than go to main menu on dead. Also I like the amount of mechanics! Also why the deman-hero is sliding? For me it was very inconvinient :( Music is awesome! Pls, publish it somewhere, I wanna listen it)

I really enjoyed this game! I think the 3D art, music, and voice acting was just perfect. One of my favourite games so far! I think the normal mode was a bit unforgiving for making you restart the entire level on death. I think normal should've had checkpoints, but hardcore should've been what normal was. I made it all the way to the end thankfully!

Very nice, and very addictive! Unfortunately I couldn’t manage to use the dash as I have one hand on the arrow keys and the other hand on the space bar, so I couldn’t go further. Maybe the platform placement could be a bit more varied (often you could just jump vertically for a while), but that’s a detail. Well done!

I can tell there was attention to detail and fine tuning of the character mechanics. For example how you made the jump go higher if you hold it longer. The little puff animations when you jump are cute too, and I like the lava effect. I'm impressed that you have what appear to be 3D assets given the short timeframe! The voiceover is also pretty funny.

Such a bummer I had to die so close to the end. Maybe I'll try another go at it at some point to see those endings!
@coleslaughter Thanx for playing our game! You almost finished in a single run, impressive!!! Very funny streaming btw
A fun, cheerful, and dynamic game. Lovely art style. Thanks for the good vibes! Best of luck with the jam!
Very polished game felt like something i would play as a flash game in my youth. Well done

Controls are really tight. This is important for a game like this. I had fun playing it.
Adding the elements incrementally was a very good idea as well. But then adding all at once was a little overwhelming. Maybe it could be better to combine to or three at first.
Overall a very polished and fun game.

Starts off a bit slow, but as soon as you get the ability to double jump it becomes quite engaging. I think that falling into the lava could use up one of your lives (and boost you up) instead of killing you instantly.
The game overall seems like a complete package, with a lot of polish, congrats!

Fun game, very cute demon, although he sound like a dog :) I really liked the gameplay develops over time, keeps things fresh. I died due to a fireball I didn't see, and I wish I can just continue from the same step and lose some score or something - because I did weant to see the end, but it's too nerve wrecking to try again until I succeed
Very solid icy tower like game

Nice level design. The ramping difficulty is decent.
This whole game was a mood. I liked the silly voiceovers, and when I got to "Fireball", I had already jumped into one before they were announced the first time around, which got me killed. So, do better silly voiceover man
Seriously, good job, this whole game is a vibe!
