LD53 — Delivery

Village Run by 43sam 2023-05-02T20:29:24Z

Very cozy game, love the art and audio! At first I didn't understand that bought items needed to be picked up and used, but cool mechanic once I figured it out :) An upgrade to increase the stamina regen rate would be cool.

Virus Load by soundgnome 2023-05-02T19:01:32Z

Nice! I like the twist on the snake-like mechanic of having to grow your chain, but then you need to spend it to win. Nice risk vs reward as you need a longer chain to attack the bigger cells. I found it near impossible to dodge the immune system, but I never saw consequences of getting hit?

Deliver Us To Evil by Nbrowning5 2023-05-02T18:57:21Z

Great artwork and atmosphere! Its nice that you packed so many movement mechanics in a short period of time, but I really only found myself using the double jump. I found I got stuck in the air when double jumping while floating and I was no longer able to progress and needed to restart.

Horror Delivery by GameDevTraum 2023-05-02T18:52:38Z

Good take on delivery! Partway through I pressed R by accident and it took me to the main menu. Would be nice to have a confirmation before restarting.

Delivery by Ripstick! by Juliansd 2023-05-02T19:09:08Z

Good music, makes it feel tense! Simple gameplay, it took me a minute or two to figure out what to do after you click on the delivery name. Did not see the "Done" button haha. The aesthetic reminds me of old flash games. I played a few rounds, sometimes you get into impossible-to-win situations where grabbing a delivery bag makes it impossible to not get hit.

LD55 — Summoning

Necro Riot by gold.daniel 2024-04-16T20:56:18Z

@annie-owl That is exactly the story! Glad you figured it out, we didn't have time to explain it in game haha. Thanks for playing 😁

The Ball and the Island by neontropics 2024-04-16T15:03:39Z

The web build does not lock the cursor to the game window, makes it difficult to move the camera. I like the cell shading, art style and music makes the game have a cozy vibe. Though I would describe the gameplay as a "rage" game, quite difficult to climb the terrain with the enemies knocking you off. The summoned penguin friends are a nice touch to help with that.

Overall good entry, great work!

Bloody Builder by indegame 2024-04-16T02:41:20Z

Was able to summon some guys, looks like they cant move because they do not have legs. After exploring I got all the parts and could summon a guy who attacks. I could not kill any enemies though, maybe they had too much health? The art is cute and the music is nice.

The cutscene at the start was a good touch, a little poetry and nice art. The backstory in the how to play screen was good as well.

C.R.T. - Companion Recall Technology by AffinityChris 2024-04-16T02:50:21Z

I like the different abilities your companions give you. The art style was really good, everything fit together. I had a very hard time with the platforming, I could not jump up the vertical section very easily. Sound design was nice as well!

Hellpet by Rayne 2024-04-16T02:54:56Z

Visuals are fantastic, the idea of taking care of a summon with your spells is a unique twist. The audio was missing or bugged for me. I also ran into an issue where I could not walk, but could still cast spells.

Boots Of Summoning by detectiveLosos 2024-04-16T02:22:21Z

Good vibes, audio and art all mesh well together. The gameplay was a bit bland, shooters are difficult to play on a trackpad

Kiss, Marry, Kill by telo.philippe 2024-04-16T03:06:24Z

A fun entry! I was not exactly sure how to gain favour with the NPCs. Talking with them gave dialog but selecting k/m/k would always fail? The overworld art is cute and the NPC portraits are very fitting. Nice job!

Hyper Hydra by Goofte 2024-04-16T14:52:49Z

Creative deckbuilding game! Took me a while to figure out the card/head placement but very fun once you realize how to play.

Simple mechanics that lead to depth, polished experience with good visuals, audio, and gameplay. Great entry! Only thing I would have liked would be more tutorial/explanation, but that is hard to do with game jam time constraints.

Angel's Inferno by TheNakedMartian 2024-04-16T00:59:20Z

The web version wouldn't load for me so I had to download the win64 build. Fun idea running around the house putting out fires trying to keep the temperature down. Got to around 30s left.

Good polish with the emissive materials around, and the voice lines telling you what needs to be done is a nice touch. I found the game very difficult, I attempted 4 times but could not beat it.

Having the same button to activate the fire extinguisher and interact was a bit frustrating, is there a way to drop it?

Overall great work!

WORD EXORCIST by MarcoDeevil 2024-04-17T21:20:46Z

Good theme for a typing game, trying to stop a summoning. Once the words flipped upside down I could not do it at all, it was very difficult after that.

I did like the art, nice touch having the character speak when you type and the screen shake when miss-typing. Sound effects were fitting as well.

Great entry!

Witch Courtier by alpacalypse 2024-04-16T02:34:49Z

A very good entry, quite creative with the summoning theme! The mood/vibe was very cohesive and cool. It would have been good if you were required to match the constellation shape.

The drawing of the 4 runes was hard because the circles were so close together, it was very easy to accidentally go over the wrong circle.

The mood and art was great, fantastic job :)

⸸ INVERSIO NEGOTIUM ⸸ by pierogo 2024-04-16T16:31:37Z

What a great and unique bullet hell! I made it to the third boss (the pink one) and I almost beat it.

Having to draw different signs using the candles to summon minions for attacks is a unique mechanic, really creative. But I found it most effective to draw the simplest triangle over and over. Maybe a per-ritual timed cooldown could combat this.

The art was great and cohesive, everything fit together. The bright colors contrasting with the dark background made it easy to read what was happening. I also liked the subtle effect on the floor. The sounds fit the game as well.

Overall a unique, creative, and well polished entry, great job!

Grandpa Ghost by AndresBochi 2024-04-16T03:19:38Z

The art is nice. Figured out that you can press space to toggle between the ghost and the guy. No audio here.

I could not get the score to go up? I could also run all over the map, going outside of the arena bounds and through the portal.

Chibble Nibbles by Brogan Ward 2024-04-16T03:24:46Z

Great fun entry! The simon-says summoning is fun and gets more difficult as it goes on. Artwork is cohesive and cute. Can get stressful towards the end (Which is good!)

Some UI Issues on my display, the vignette only covered 75% of the screen. Other than that I experienced no noticeable bugs!

Leprechaun's Gold by Stowy 2024-04-16T14:57:46Z

I like the concept! Spells are fun to type, I can see the game getting frantic. You need to be precise with the platforming, not a lot of room for error with the movement spells.

Art was charming, audio was a bit rough. Overall a good entry, great job!

Demonic Fridge and Vegetables From Hell by 7uc4s 2024-04-16T01:16:49Z

I didn't exactly know what to do? I ran around and opened all the chests, I put an apple in the fridge, and had a ton of hearts at the bottom, i pulled the lever. But no enemies were appearing. Unfortunate because the art is super nice and I like the lighting effects. Also there was no sound, not sure if that is intentional or not.

still unnamed by jbisnee 2024-04-16T16:01:02Z

Game jams are tough! Hope you try again in the future

Drunk Dork on Pitchfork by bigbossman 2024-04-16T15:54:21Z

The web version loaded for me, but it took about a minute. What a unique entry! The art is fantastic and charming, lots of polish with the inverse kinematics and animations. The whole game is quite cohesive with the sound and art. Not sure if it was intentional, but choosing where on the pitchfork you pick up the guy mattered. I also had fun just throwing the guy around at the start haha.

It is very difficult, made it only a few toilet checkpoints in.

Fantastic entry overall, great work!

Forge Lord by Hazard Game Dev 2024-04-16T15:59:01Z

Nice art style, it is cohesive and the animations were a nice touch.

Game feels good to control, having to balance resource gathering and minion summoning was fun. Having different resources for different summons was cool too. I did hear some sound effects but no background music that would have really polished it off. It did get difficult towards the end

Overall great entry, I had fun playing it!

Summoned by Cshep99 2024-04-16T02:25:04Z

The whole game was just different shades of purple. Not sure if you put some files in the wrong directory. But I do like skelly-bone people.

Magecraft Timber Troupe by Liam Squires 2024-04-16T16:40:37Z

Fun gathering resources, to build guys to gather more resources. The art is cute, audio is a bit lackluster.

The game was not challenging at all though, I had more resources than I could ever use and tons(TONS) of little minions summoned.

Fun entry, good work!

Magic Falls by CaptainSpaceCat 2024-04-16T01:01:59Z

Fun little top down game. The hit sound is quite shrill I had to turn the volume off. Player moves pretty slowly. I do like the idea of having to charge up your spells and place them. Had a few minutes of fun

Dance Dance Summoner by Deoxx 2024-04-16T02:46:42Z

Fun game! you do dance moves to summon certain elements to combat enemies.

I found it a little hard to see which element I would need to summon next, maybe color-coding the elements of the enemies coming at you would be helpful.

The art is great, love the poses the dancer hits. I could see myself getting lost playing this :)

Catacomb Conquest by axhar005 2024-04-16T14:47:25Z

Same issue as the others

LD57 — Depths

Snow Ordinary Cave by binroot 2025-04-08T02:48:47Z

Cute simple game, finished it really quickly without taking a hit! Good to see enemy variety and different pickups implemented. Nice use of lighting. I feel like the battery should drain faster than it currently does adding some more challenge and a reason to use the pickups.

"Jammy" Bolt Digs a Hole by kroltan 2025-04-08T16:23:26Z

Cute programmer style art. Gameplay is pretty simple, dig, try not to run out of fuel and get all the things. Wish there was a bit of audio, at least background music. I could not beat it, you almost have to path to the fuel instead of the gems.

Cool that this was made in Rust! Would not be my first choice for a game jam haha, love to see less popular technologies getting explored. Great work!

Nine to Five Nightmare by RelicTooth 2025-04-08T20:54:49Z

I like the main menu art, almost feels too real haha. The poster in the back is a good tutorial, very simple and gets the information across. I really like the cartoony aesthetic of the gameplay, very cutesy. Good short game, great job!

The Depths of the Bag by Croped 2025-04-08T03:26:50Z

The game does not seem to be loading for me in the embedded page. Sometimes this happens in Unity builds when the web player settings has data caching checked on. This is not an issue on itch.io AFAIK.

Here is how you can disable Data Caching: - pack it as a ZIP index.html is at the root-level aside the folders created by Unity - Disable “Data Caching” when creating the WebGL build in “Player Settings” -> “Player” -> “Publishing Settings”

The Depths of the Bag by Croped 2025-04-08T21:18:54Z

Finally getting a chance to play now that the embedded page is working!

Excellent pixel art, lots of detail in it which is appreciated. I love the voice work as well, and it suits the character. I wish there was some background music it would really add to the feel. Getting to the bottom and moonwalking over a pile of corpses was a good laugh. Great work!

Sub-Silence by Pusheeneiro 2025-04-08T21:33:34Z

Opening screen sets the tense mood really well with the music combined with the sonar sound. I do like the idea but I did find it quite difficult to play, maybe some ui tweaks could help. I found you really have to play slowly which adds to the tense feeling. Great entry!

Depths of Hell by GabrielGameDev 2025-04-08T03:44:13Z

Fun classic tower-climb type of game. Appreciate the voice over and the sound effects, combine with the artwork it made the game very funny to play. The music was also a vibe. Lots of variation of power-ups and obstacles as you climb. I found the game quite easy, never ended up using the dash. Great entry!

Big Pig & Dig Gig by sami822 2025-04-08T02:39:03Z

Great entry. Love the humor and artwork, I felt like we could maybe ramp up the powerups a bit faster, it was slow to start. On theme and creative.

Dwingles by Pomo 2025-04-08T02:32:56Z

Excellent polish around a simple game. Fun physics gameplay trying to get the Dwingle. Art and audio suit the goofy, almost surreal aesthetic. And I made the leaderboard! Fantastic polished and creative entry.

Mine Goblin by maximevincent 2025-04-08T02:54:53Z

Looks like you have not opted in to a few voting categories you may be eligible for. Huge file size may be a hinderance to people trying out your game.

I like the low-res and dithering look to the game, really gets you in the mindset of a goblin. Working settings screen is always nice in a jam game. The camera controls feel really weird, almost like it is not rotating around the player point offset from the player.

Once you jump down its quite a trip, goofy audio alongside this ragdoll goblin got me laughing, great entry, made it to ~400 depth

HIM(1).Locked by fosf0 2025-04-08T03:21:27Z

Just completed the game! Fantastic entry, quite involved and long for a jam game, a 10 person team always helps ;). Good story, art and audio. Very very immersive and creative. Some puzzles may have taken me longer than they should have. Love this one so much!

Maybe having the list of files you just unlocked be more persistent? Like sticky notes, I kept asking myself "what files did I just get access to" when I was stuck for a bit.

Voidwood by Tobius 2025-04-08T02:12:27Z

Well polished simple game. Love the audio it fits the aesthetic. I did find it a bit easy, or maybe it just felt low stakes? Good take on the theme. The art style is fantastic as well, and I really like the root growing effect!

Infinite Depths at Hilberts Hotel by Fredrik Andersson 2025-04-08T01:53:41Z

loved the art style. fits the theme pretty well. creative idea, i found the puzzles super tricky!

Forest Depths by Jon Curtin 2025-04-08T20:14:04Z

Cute simple game, artwork is charming and the "company logo" made me laugh. Love the eye of the tiger cover, would have been nice to have different types of prey/predators. Overall good entry!

Into The Abyss by Constance 2025-04-08T03:53:09Z

Great artwork and audio (music and SFX) they really suit the vibe of the game. Love digging into the depths its pretty fun! Simple and short game love to see it.

Some feedback, digging at the cursor felt weird, if my mouse was off a ways away I would not dig but the animation would play. Making the gameplay mouse-less would feel better imo. Great entry and good work!

Lifted by andriybyelikov 2025-04-08T18:10:11Z

A settings screen is always appreciated even if it does not belong fully in a web build. The music is nice and calming, maybe a bit melancholic. Cute simple tile based art. Story is nice, wish we could go into other environments it felt like it was needed. I feel like the textbox text should appear a bit quicker or have an option to insta-complete the animation.

Talking to people multiple times repeats text instead of a shortened version, some are long so that bugged me a bit. Also textboxes do not disappear if you move far away from the NPCs, would have been a nice touch.

Overall a cute entry, great work!

Slugy Down depths by Nanamaki 2025-04-08T02:19:33Z

Love the art style very cute. The gameplay felt a bit unoriginal to me but on theme with "depths" as you are constantly going down. Audio is good as well, crabs exploding is fun I love the physics of it. Would have been nice for the death-reset to have an animation or transition. Great entry!

Take Your Meds by DubiousDuck 2025-04-08T20:51:07Z

Cool puzzle game! Using depth as layers is a creative interpretation. The music is smooth and almost puts you in a trance as you play. I also like the cute but simple art, all it needs to be, the art conveys what all the objects do.

Some feedback, sometimes I was confused as you can see the next layer in the background, it sort of muddled my thinking when working through the puzzles. You can also place items while its running, not sure if that is intentional.

Overall great entry :)

D.U.G.: Doug Under da Ground by mtnbonez 2025-04-08T02:59:13Z

Love the intro animation, hitting the buttons to select on the main menu took me a second to get but got a chuckle. But once I hit the play button nothing would happen, an area around my feet was revealed, I walked from one side to the other and it showed me where digging would occur but the game would not start and I could not continue

Esca - Ludum Dare 57 by bakuzen 2025-04-08T03:58:56Z

The adorable art is what drew me in at first. Very cute simple game, great work! You really get thrown right into gameplay with no warning, caught me off guard at first. No gameplay bugs to be seen (only the high score one). I managed see I got 102 points before the game ended. Great job, hope you make more in the future :)

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-08T20:58:44Z

Great pixel art. Combined with the postFX (bloom, maybe chromatic aberration? Unless that is baked into the art) it makes for an awesome aesthetic. Chiptunes sound great as well, sound effects are punchy. Excellently polished tower climb game, great jam entry!

Doctrines - LD57 Game by Riggen 2025-04-08T04:09:48Z

The web version did not load for me so I downloaded the windows build. The art is fantastic, I like the dithered looks to it and the whole theme. The music and SFX really fit the look and feel of the game.

The card selection felt a bit off, like it I could not always grab what I want. The reverse healthbar with the increasing madness is cool. I wish you could see the health and madness numbers though, hard to tell exactly how much you have.

I can see you pursuing this into a full game later if you want. Excellent work by the team!

DeepCrown by Wyzal 2025-04-08T02:25:58Z

I love the programmer art style, lots of charm with it. Audio is simple but sucks you in.

The gameplay reminds me of the game "Reigns", felt like it was a main inspiration. The dialog and the art style together are quite humorous.

Felt a bit slow to start, I thought there may have been a bug and it got stuck so I refreshed the page, speeding up the time between dialogs might be a good idea.

Overall fantastic entry!

CONFESSION by pavlov36 2025-04-08T20:44:06Z

Art and animation is great, suits the mood of the game. Can tell a lot of care went into making this. The sound effects are good as well. A lack of background music feels like a good choice, instead opting for ambient noises. Fun short but cohesive experience and great entry!

The Dive by Team 9tailed 2025-04-08T21:14:02Z

Short game, pretty simple, fall and shoot to get to the bottom. The switchup to platforming at the boss was a nice suprise. A respawn would have been nice since it takes so long to get to the bottom. The fall to the bottom was easy but the boss I had trouble with since I did not understand what to do at first.

The music is short and loops quick but I did not mind, kind of gets stuck in your head. Overall a solid entry great work!

It works on two levels, Depths as "Down Under" as well as being underground! I love that. Cute simple art. Great entry!

LD58 — Collector

Stampede Philarun by Local Minimum 2025-10-06T21:10:07Z

A cute fun entry! I like the voice acting it really adds a charm to the simplicity of the rest of the game. I did find the camera angles a bit strange and wish it could be controlled, or maybe a more top-down type view. I also liked the stamps in the background. Great entry keep it up!

Soul Harvester by gold.daniel 2025-10-06T21:34:37Z

@arthur-iung Thanks for the feedback! We originally were also going to use souls for currency but a lack of time. As you progress through the levels you do "collect" cards and can build a deck but its not exactly gameplay focused.

Hell's Handbook by ehgoodenough 2025-10-06T22:23:55Z

Interesting that you self-hosted the game instead of using a platform like itch. I had some UI issues on the initial name entry screen, the text box when clicked made the contract shoot off to the left.

I got to the first level that is heart shaped, but when I ended my turn it seems like the game soft-locked, the enemy was floating and I could not interact with anything. If this gets updated I will come back to try!

The Return of Tom Lander by rubentipparach 2025-10-06T21:32:03Z

The pixel art in this game is hilarious, almost like images were taken and the resolution reduced? The Models remind me of super early 3d art. The controls are pretty funny having to control each booster. I do wish there were some instructions figuring out what to do and how to play was not intuitive. I also wish there was some audio to match the almost surreal art. Good entry!

Leaves by DeadCode 2025-10-06T22:19:27Z

Cute pixel art. I like the scanline effect. Have to be fast to dodge that dog haha. Wish there was some audio, even something ambient. Good entry!

Little Housekeeper by Ja_viera 2025-10-06T21:40:45Z

Cool take on movement around a spiders web! I did find the controls feeling unresponsive, it was frustrating as I felt I was pressing the buttons correctly. Cool take on collector. I love the art and overall feel, great entry!

Garden Gnome by twistways 2025-10-06T21:27:16Z

Cute pixel art, the tileset looks good. Run around and mashing collect while the time is racing down can be stressful. It seems pretty hard the time is short! I do wish there were some sound effects to go along with it, could really add to the frantic feel of picking your product to sell!. Good entry.

Magnet Boy by Cope 2025-10-06T21:18:01Z

You really get thrown right into the gameplay. Simple game with cute graphics, collect all the things and don't blow up! On theme. I like the lose screen, the pixel art has a charm to it. Good job!

Skeledaddler! by Catusfelony 2025-10-06T21:14:57Z

Love the artwork in this one, the skelly pieces look charming. The game is quite cohesive in its art, audio, gameplay, and title of the game. Very polished. I feel like it isn't super on theme? Maybe you are collecting skeleton pieces? Overall though a great entry, good work!

The Raven Job by MeowMeowLitClub 2025-10-06T21:37:32Z

Nice job! Lots of people on this one. I liked the art and audio of the game it was fun, animations were simple. I had a hard time telling if I was doing a good job or not? It felt like there was not enough player feedback. Good entry!

The Headpatting Cat Collector by BlueDingo 2025-10-06T21:24:18Z

A fun clicker game! Always bonus points for petting cats. Growing the number of headpats as you upgrade and click click click! Very quick to play, less than 2 minutes to beat. I do wish there was some audio but this is a fun entry! Good job.

Fartnite by osh.studio 2025-10-06T21:20:28Z

Great job with the project. Fun little platformer where you choose a launch direction and fart to move hahaha. It is pretty cohesive with the audio, graphics, and gameplay they all mesh. For 10 hours this is a fantastic entry. I also really liked the selectable characters they were funny. Good entry!
