Great fun entry! The simon-says summoning is fun and gets more difficult as it goes on. Artwork is cohesive and cute. Can get stressful towards the end (Which is good!)
Some UI Issues on my display, the vignette only covered 75% of the screen. Other than that I experienced no noticeable bugs!
Love the art! The tones for each key was really helpful (I just wish the music was a little quieter so that I can hear them better). The slime looked great too! Good Job!
The art was sooo cute! I really liked the 2D/3D style, it fit well together. Gameplay was also fun. The only problem that I had was to figure the mechanics due to the timing of the buttons that I needed to press. I didn't understand it at first, but it might have been just me playing dumb haha. Nice job!
Nice popup book artstyle. Memory game was solid, I'd recommend giving the player obstacles for movement. I think you could have done something clever with the controls to make it feel more like summoning.
@gold-daniel thank you for letting us know about this! We have pushed a viewport bug fix and the UI should now scale properly!
And thank you all for playing!

I love the art and the animations. I actually failed a few of the summons because I was too busy watching the animation of the main character. The music is also really fun and add to the whimsical theme.
Hahahaha Very interesting game, it reminds me of some tiny games I used to play on my mobile phone. It's fun and I love it!

The art and animations are really nice!
Really enjoyed the art and the music! Very good entry.
Gah almost did it, but got stuck on a tricky pattern! Perhaps three failures should cause a new pattern to be required?
Really nice use of 2.5D and really well put together - nice work!
@matt-ravenhall this is a good idea! I could maybe even shorten the pattern after 2-3 failed attempts. That way it gives the player a better chance to recover.
Thank you for the suggestion!
Great 2.5D, cool visuals & sound, and most importantly, absolutely loved the fact that it kinda makes you both remember the riff of the spell visually & by ear! 9/10 would play moar
Your game features a very adorable art style, which both my girlfriend and I really enjoyed and played together for quite a while. The overall process of playing the game is quite relaxing, with no pressure (although this also means that the level of fun is somewhat diminished). In summary, it's a well-designed game with a good gaming experience, offering a rare opportunity for relaxation.
I loved the cute characters! The animations were adorable, too :) The concept is simple but fun, although it did get a bit tricky towards the end. As someone else suggested, I think giving a shorter pattern after a few failed attemps could be a good idea.

Pretty fun game with very cute art. I like that you can use either the tones or the visuals to memorize the patterns. Also, seeing the slime build up over the floor as things got harder really added to the intensity.
First of all, the music has no business being this good, especially to fit such a cute art style. Kudos to the composer. I really like the 2.5D aesthetic of the game, everything looks polished. And the design of the pattern input is also very good both in terms in graphics and sound design. It feels pretty snappy and responsive. Sadly, I can't seem to beat the 1:00 mark. Maybe it is a tad too difficult near the end.
Congrats!

I love the facial expressions of Rosemary
First I tried playing the HTML version, but the showing of the moves was somehow really slow. After failing a few times, I decided to download the .exe file. That worked much better, and I managed to win the game!
The different sounds with the different directions really helped. But I would have liked to visaully see the difference between listening/learning and when it is time to copy the moves.
Art style is cute and the music is awesome (did you make it yourself during the jam?). Well done!
Wow, the music is really good in this one. It's weird that you can start your summoning sequence when it's still presented to you for the first time, but it will always fail :/

A very cute and polished game! I like especially the eating/swallowing animation of the chibbles. They look so happy to get something to eat xD Great job!
Super cute! Great visuals, great audio (love the cues for the keys) and really fun simple gameplay. The only thing I would add is maybe a dash just to make movement a bit more fun but other than that its great, well done!
I had a great time! Very cool music and I really liked the mix between 2D and 3D! It gets really hard to concentrate at the end. Especially as no pattern is the same.
@sleepystudios Definitely in the works for after the jam. One of the things we wanted to include was furniture and more movement to get around said furniture. Hopefully we get it working and it feels good with the main gameplay loop!

One of my favorite things is the subtle "mercy" feature: towards the end of my run, I started messing up on the six- and seven-button sequences, and I noticed that the game eventually dialed things back down to five-button sequences that were more manageable for me.
The music kept me engaged from start to finish; some real RPG battle vibes there!

I was able to beat it. Not sure if it was intended but the sequences at the end that were 6 or 7 long took a while to play out (before I could play them back). Fun game idea, but due to the slowdown(?) the last minute or two wasn't super fun and was just kinda running out the clock. If the long sequences came out fairly fast I think the end would have a fun frantic pace.
Overall good game though, fun idea, and good use of them. Also good job on the sound effect of the summon, without the sound cues remembering the long sequences would have been a lot harder.
I like it! LOVE the lil guys. Felt pretty stale pretty quickly; the complexity increase over time alone was not enough to hold my interest. Would have loved to see more gameplay variation such as more challenge types, etc. Great work, though!
Fun little game. Cute graphics (especially the chibbles). Only suggestion would be a slight delay between when the spell pattern hint is displayed and when it starts showing the key combination. Frequently managed to fail the summons when I missed the first keystroke.
Excellent work!
I really enjoyed this game! I like the art style, and the concept is simple and fun.

Really nice game. It looks very good. Awesome 2.5D effect. The art and sound is also fantastic!
