A cute fun entry! I like the voice acting it really adds a charm to the simplicity of the rest of the game. I did find the camera angles a bit strange and wish it could be controlled, or maybe a more top-down type view. I also liked the stamps in the background. Great entry keep it up!

This is such a fun and cute game. The sound effects and the music are really good. Simple, but could play it for a long time. Great job!

I enjoyed it.
Fun to play! I really enjoyed the narration — especially the "staaaamps" at the end of each level and that final poem haha, such a nice touch.
Also, the background was oddly mesmerizing to watch… I caught myself just staring at it lol
What a fun throwback! The game reminds me of the old times, when I was playing [Balance](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballance_%28video_game%29) on my first laptop
I only wish you've scratched my collector's itch a little bit more, by adding actual stamp pictures  They could appear on the background wall as you collect them.
And here is my best try of the final level  https://youtu.be/_FiiVdQEE84
@gold-daniel thanks for the feedback, yeah that camera, I really wanted it to be part of the obstacles that the player needs to manage... but it might be that it's just going to feel annoying to most players.
@kamilah I'm glad you enjoyed playing it and by the sound of it wouldn't have minded if there were more levels to it.
@anderson-job-loeffler Tbh, I felt a bit self-conscious about that staaamps sound after I had recorded it, but now I'm glad I kept it in.
@annie-owl Oh I didn't know about Balance, part of my inspiration was [Marble Madness](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble_Madness). The idea of collecting varied actual stamps and then having them dance in the background is such a brilliant idea. I was running out of time and energy, but the 3d model has a separate material for the picture part so it would be relatively simple upgrade. I think though, that you would only keep the stamps you collect if you reach the level goal though. Else you could just take the first stamp over and again until you have collected everything.
Also thank you for the recording and I'm happy you made it to the very absolute end. I'm just wondering if I did mess up which became the final scene there though, but it isn't a big difference...
Hahaha! I thought the fact, that you have an extra secret level after the one, that says "ITS THE END, STOP PLAYING ALREADY" was intentional! And I actually spent way more time on the final final level (that was recorded on the video), than on the one before

Fun little game! I didn't manage to beat the second(?) bonus level. I liked that the game told me to stop but it allowed me to continue :D
My only gripe is that the camera is too slow, and waiting for it to catch up isn't ideal, especially when there's lots of trial and error. But other than that, good stuff overall!

Fun! I managed to beat one bonus level, but couldn't get the second (or, gave up, as instructed earlier...). Worked well with controller. On the bonus levels, the camera was sometimes too far ahead or behind where I was to see where I was going, but other than there, the camera felt pretty good. The stamp names were fun, it surprised me when I heard a new one for the first time on the bonus level =).

Nice game. Also had a lot of fun making it through the game, and also enjoyed the extra two final levels.... although I had to start from the level before the first final level... because I got stuck  Sprite-0001.png wedged in there and no button would move me. But the game was very fun all the way through. Controlled really smoothly, exactly how I'd expect a game like this to control, after playing a lot of similar games, like Super Monkey Ball.
I was wondering, why have the camera auto-scroll? Not saying it was a horrible thing, but it certainly limited when you could do things, and how fast you could try to go, simply because you could not see far enough in front of you.
Either way, great job! Super fun game!

I love it! It plays really well, the graphics are simple and easy on the eyes, and the reading of the types of stamps was funny. I didn't complete the bonus level, because it was too hard for me, but I may come back and try again later!

had a lot of fun with this one!! the voice lines were great, and I thought that the camera movement was fun to plan around with the timing! managed to beat all but the very last bonus level
Fantastic entry! Very calming with the background, your choice of music, and your enthusiastic voice for every stamp collected - it definitely helped with some of the more difficult sections :D Also a great set of levels with even some bonus on top. You also managed to add a lot of polish with effects, the stamps sticking to the ball, the intro, and extra cheering when reaching the goal. I love what you put together here!

I had a lot of fun collecting stamps! At first, as usual, it was hard to get accustomed to the controls, but after a couple of levels I really started rolling. I think music and your voice really add to the mood of the game, making it an exciting journey.
I loved that stamps are attached to the ball and make it rolling harder, sort of reminds me of Katamari Damaci, as you progress the level might become harder depending on where the stamp will be attached and you might need to try to rotate the ball so the ball will continue to roll smoothly.
I feel like the camera might be a bit too slow sometimes, would love to have it react to my position more, as I was out of the camera frustum sometimes when I was rolling too fast.
I've managed to beat all levels including the one after the "The End" scene, though it was really tough!
Great job!
@frib Glad you managed to get through. From the feedback I'm getting, I think I should at least have included an option to have the camera dynamic / adjust to player position rather than only scripted in its progression.
@jimbly It's always good to follow instructions  Yeah that camera. I should really have... If I make a post jam version, I'll for sure look into making it dynamic by default.
@t-c thanks for the bug feedback. I'll move that block over a bit to make sure there's plenty of space to fall down  And possibly have a reset button too. The camera auto-scroll, I'm not sure, I played Marble Madness once or twice about 35 years ago so can't really say, but I think it didn't care much about how fast you were. And it was also a time saver of sorts (unless having a fixed offset from player always, that would of course be the easiest but probably a bit dull).
@budaniel glad you liked it! Yeah that bonus level, I made it really quite hard.
@rosday Woo someone likes the camera! Glad you enjoyed the game
@freeworld Thanks for the kind words! I'm very glad my distractions worked and kept you playing when it was getting tough! That was the plan
@apoly Katamari Damaci was part of the inspiration, though I've actually never played it, for the stamps making you uneven. I didn't have time to figure out how to do that procedurally though, so I just made six different versions of the ball with different collision-shapes  And I hear you about the camera. My thinking was it was meant as yet another obstacle for the player to plan and play around. But I'm thoroughly convinced it wasn't the right choice as almost everyone has mentioned it.
very fun! love me a marble stamp collecting game
Amazing game with a clever twist of the theme. I love roll-a-ball games and yours is really well done with solid mechanics and nice levels. I guess that it could be better with neat graphics if you get more time. However, at this stage, I can say that I had fun... rolling :) Thank you for your entry. I wish you the best ++

I love the voice acting! The level design is really clever — such a fun and addictive game (though I got stuck on level 4)!

This was such a fun and charming entry. The rolling mechanics felt smooth once I got into it, and the voice acting added so much personality — I couldn’t help but laugh every time I heard “staaamps.” The level design was creative and the difficulty curve felt fair, with some good challenges near the end. I did think the camera could have been a bit quicker to follow the ball, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The simple visuals and calm background made it relaxing to play, even when I messed up. Great job, this was a really memorable and polished jam game.
Reminded me of Ballance (a reeeeally old game), but with the element of collecting thing. Fun to play.

Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)
"Staaamps!"
The idea of using stamps could seem trivial, but I really loved how you transformed it in this roll-a-ball game. I think it has everything done right, well polished; maybe the pause menu is kinda small but the functionality is there, ok then.
I found the moving camera adding difficulty to the game, but it did not bother me. The paths are clear after a couple of attempts. Also, stamps impede you but rolling is fairly easy.
Special thanks to your dubbing! It really adds fun and fills you with determination. Very good job overall :D
*Bicycle stand! Dinosaur Stan!* That's what I heard, anyway 😎
This was fun—challenging but not so challenging I couldn't make it in the end. Played with keyboard and it worked well, nudging yourself back and forth. Wonder if the smoother motion of a controller makes it easier.
Nice job using a new tool for the first time, how'd you find it? :) I remember having so many web export gotchas with Godot 3 the first time, but I assume that this is Godot 4. Any better? Considering updating for the next one…
I did run into the bug the first time right away on the second level and kept trying for way too long before I came back here and read about it. Restarting worked and it never happened again, luckily!
Looks fine but a little barebones, but the stamps sticking to the ball is a cool effect! I do like the suggestion in the comments of collected stamps appearing in the background but I can see how it'd've been a lot of work making all those pictures. The voice announcing the stamps is a fun(ny) substitute tho. Some music would've been neat.
Of course I had to keep playing when the game told me not to. I even beat the last bonus level three times just to be sure. I liked how it said *the end* after every bonus level. I went back and clicked the button on the first one too just to see if it was any different (which it was!).
Cool stuff!
@geckoo1337 Glad you liked it! Yeah, more work on graphics would for sure be up there on a todo list post-jam version.
@elfb0y glad you enjoyed it and my "staaaamps!". The camera actually doesn't care at all about the ball in the current implementation, and if I do a post jam version, I'll be sure to change that since almost everyone didn't like that...
@fiordarancio STAAAMPS! Very glad you liked my voice acting!
@ava-skoog Lol. Maybe "Dinosaur Stan!" will have to be my next LD game. Hope you are feeling better btw. I've been hammering away in Godot now for a couple of months but this was my first jam game. And it went mostly smoothly. Don't think I've ever had such good time management during a LD! The one gotcha I stumbled upon was that there was an enormous stutter the first time a particle system fired, so I had to sneakily put them all in the level-select level where it doesn't matter and you kind of don't notice as much as it happens right when the level gets loaded. There was music btw, maybe you had it muted with 'M'? There could have been more varied music though. Very happy you got to all the ends!
And to everyone else, thanks for your feedback!
