Hey! It looks like you just uploaded the godot source code, not the compiled game.

Wow haha, thanks for letting us know. Should be fixed now :).

Was able to summon some guys, looks like they cant move because they do not have legs. After exploring I got all the parts and could summon a guy who attacks. I could not kill any enemies though, maybe they had too much health? The art is cute and the music is nice.

The cutscene at the start was a good touch, a little poetry and nice art. The backstory in the how to play screen was good as well.

art is incredible, you guys are crazy talented!

The game is great! Though the cutscene at the beginning is a bit time-comsuming(as it doesn't show how to controll the game and only describes the plot). I thought I could drag the items in the summoning panel, but it appeared to be double clicking :) Had a nice time in your game!

I really liked how each summoning circle you find allows you to make differently shaped creatures, it allowed for a lot of strategizing to take down the bosses. I think I killed the redbull boss, but it didn't look like he dropped the chest part the altar asks for, and he never respawned. Other than that, the game was really fun!

rly liked the crafting mechanic!

VERY cool game, I loved the idea of crafting different minions of of parts I collected and it was fun to see all the different guys I could make - I wish there was some sort of fast-build though, or maybe just being able to click on a part to slot it in instead of dragging it, as my inventory quickly filled up and making all the units became a bit cumbersome. Still, this is a really great entry, fantastic job!!!

A real good game, I enjoyed it a lot!!!

Nice ideia (and joke) on the body building mechanic!

danonino 2024-04-20 20:27

I think this is the first game that I played which took the theme and made it literally like I imagined a summoning game to look. You summoning dudes to fight for you. Nothing fancy but still a good jam game

Fun mechanic of combining different parts for your summons. The bosses were fine as well!

really great game, tried hard to kill every monster but failed miserably, It would be nice if monster could not respawn

chifu 2024-04-21 10:20

Nice theme implementation!

One of the best games this jam. Music is low-key great, the core mechanic is fun and resulting creatures are silly and funny. From the art style I've got the feeling of fantasy hotline miami.

Honestly, this is really well done!

Idk how to heal( Maybe blood should fall from enemies?

gus-goucher 2024-04-24 01:54

Hey very cool idea! The gameplay felt a little sparse and unmotivated; the beats were a little weak and there wasn't much connective tissue between them, but with some refining and game loop clarification this could be a really cool experience. Upside down spawner/crafting stations were very fun! Great work!

The game is great, and idea is cool. Just got confused at first play and after the first death, the game plays better.

cananaman 2024-05-02 16:59

Oh wow! Pretty fun submission! I love the pixelart here :) Who all worked on what parts?

eriku 2024-05-02 23:37

First of all, music is great! Made for good listening while playing. I found the pacing to be a bit slow - it takes a while to build up minions, and if you overestimate yourself (going against the bull) it's a pretty tough full reset building up again. I found myself wishing the UX for assembling a minion was a bit quicker - either sorted by type, stacking items of the same type (e.g. all skull heads) with a count label in the corner, or an auto-complete button, just because quickly trying to get the parts in became tiresome. I found I was constantly opening and closing the inventory to eat or assemble, so a more condensed, permanent view of it might be better. Also, I accidentally ate the bull chest after about 15 minutes of playing and gave up there, haha. The variety of artwork on the creatures was great. They had some pathing issues in the forest. Overall a commendable entry for 72 hours, nicely done all!

Fun concept, really enjoyed the Frankenstein creations!
