I like the concept, mood and artwork, but it was difficult to play at first because the colliders weren't aligned with the actual puzzle pieces. Maybe it was a resolution thing?
I loved this, it was cute and entertaining and the art is pretty nice. I always feel great to see well done 3D artwork because usually the best looking game jam games tend to be pixel art...which is getting kind of boring if you ask me, so great job! At first I didn't understand that I had to put all the items in an order to clear a customer out, but I got that later.
Super fun, super pretty, not sure how well it went with the theme, but I loved it. I especially loved the mini tutorial you had as an intro
Cool mood and artstyle, challenging and fun. However I felt it was missing some polish in the controls and colliders, I had a lot of trouble passing the last obstacle of the first stage and sometimes the punch wasn't very responsive, my character bugged out of the hallway into the "roof" of the circle several times and I couldn't get past.
I liked this game! I liked your take on the theme, and the idea gameplay-wise was rather fun, especially since I had someone watching me play and failed. In the end it gets too confusing and difficult but I guess that's the idea, so well done. The art was pretty and coherent as well, congratulations :)
I liked this concept, it has a lot of potential. The art style was nice with a very retro feel but I feel the floor was a lot more polished than the graves and characters. And there's a lot of potential to make different layouts of graveyards and types of graves and zombies! One thing I didn't like was the controls, I felt my character was way too slow for the pace of the game. Good job overall.
Nice entry, I wish the "in game" art was as nice looking as the "narrative" art. I couldn't figure out how to kill the sharks without letting them bite me at least once though. And the music was so sad! It felt like the game itself had a faster rythm than the music so it was a little weird.
Interesting concept, fun game and great artwork, congrats!
Fun game, I liked the progression and the puzzles were interesting enough. I didn't like the music very much, it was distracting though.
The camera was kind of awkward but I really liked the art and the chickens. It was too difficult for me though, I couldn't beat it even after several tries.
The best part of the art was the "loading screen", but the rest of the art wasn't very engaging. The dogs were just a number, so the whole idea of being worried about them living an dying went off board for me. The social media part didn't make much sense for me either. I think you came up with something that could have evoked a lot of feelings in the player but didn't implement it properly.
Fun game, pretty art, I like how everything comes together. It was to difficult for me though so I couldn't get very far.
The game seems rather incomplete, the concept art looks amazing though, maybe if you had more time so your game could live up to it and the story you made.
Very fun idea! I liked the tetris/management part more than the battle, it was difficult to understand and the UI was bugged in the web version at least since it doesn't scale down in smaller resolutions, but I see you are aware of that. The artwork looks okay, I feel it could have looked nice if the objects and characters were designed keeping in mind the camera angle. If they were in the right angle, like isometric top down, instead of front and flat and then put in a 3d world it would have felt nice.
I really liked the sound effects! The game itself was a little hard to understand and the art didn't show very certain things like when I lost I didn't realize how or why at first.
Interesting concept, I felt the space theme was a little forced. The game itself was fun, and regarding the graphics, I think you could have done better sticking to a simple color palette and not abusing so many camera effects... like too much blur and blooming everywhere XD
I like this game, the controls and mechanics were very fun, the art style is simple but cute and more importantly gets the point across, I love how they light up when you click on them and the way they change color. You have good eye.
Very conceptual, thought provoking and very beautiful! I loved your style and the theme you chose, it makes you think a bit about life and the choices you make along the way.
The gameplay wasn't very challenging, but I enjoyed the story and the concept of the jellybeans, very good effort for your first jam!
Solid entry, character design is very cute!
Interesting art style, maybe too much abuse of post-effects. Gameplay is simple but it's fun overall
I really liked the concept and the idea of finding wells to keep the garden running, it was fun trying to discover things, but I wish the character could run faster, it was kind of frustrating. Also, I don't know if there is a way to win, but if you could only lose, maybe you could have shown some kind of score (it could have been just how many seconds you managed to keep the garden alive)
I really liked the atmosphere, it was kinda dreamy. The controls were a bit difficult for me, specially movement. I loved the mechanic of spreading your wings to protect the ducklings, and I really felt the loss when the eagles too them away D:
I like the dimensional rift idea! I would have preferred if you could take the machine with you, like grabbing it somehow, it was a bit annoying going ahead, killing the enemies and then pushing the machine...also since you can only push it sometimes I got it stuck in corners.
I loved the egg puns, control was fun and the levels as well, very intriguing adventure. I also loved the little intro with the egg planet, nice work
Really nice, I enjoyed looking around and find out what kind of organ I dug out. I like the stealth element of the characters with the flashlight, I only wished you could get a weapon sooner
A very confusing experience!
I really liked the idea and the day/night cycle, it's a shame that the guards were a bit broken.
Really liked the mood, super cute art. A bit slow paced for me, I wish I could have sped up the text but then again that is part of the mood I guess, it's all very relaxed and cute. Overall it was a super nice experience.
Very cute art style, the start was too slow but otherwise a pretty chill little game for the people who are curious about experimenting. The game had a few bugs with selecting objects at some point I couldn't continue playing.
very interesting concept, fun once you get the hang of it, it is reminiscent of vampire survivor. I also wish you added a retry button after dying. art wise, when using pixel art it's usually better if all assets share the same pixel size, right now everything is looking too inconsistent.
Super cute artstyle and mood!, I agree with previous comment that it was confusing and movement was on the slow side... I wasn't sure how to play or progress.
Lol I went to play without reading your entry and I laughed when I saw what the green items actually were. Very funny. The art could use a polish though.
Fun, short and sweet! Cool idea, wish the artwork was more polished
I loved the artstyle, but it was difficult to understand the mechanic, I always ran out of money too soon, maybe adding some sort of tutorial would help. I think since your art is so nice with better camera controls it could be a lot more immersive and fun.
Very atmospheric and fun, the graphics were cute, pixel art seems to always work well with game jams, but with an intriguing story and mood such as yours I think you have potential to do a version with more polished assets. I feel the battles could have been more balanced as well, the ghosts have too much HP and it gets a little tedious. The karma system was super interesting too, well done!
I think it has the potential to be very fun game with better graphics and UX design, it was a very good concept.
Very good concept and fun to play, the art is pretty cute too.
It was quite fun at the end when I got to crash into the other car. I think the idea was pretty good and very on point with the theme but maybe the road was too long, it was boring at some parts. I feel it's a bit unfair to rate graphics since you didn't make the models or textures. The lighting is nice though.
I really liked the premise and the art is cute. Maybe it could have been more horror than cute if that was your aim? I wish you had the time to implement all the things you wanted in your vision.
Interesting idea, I thought the animations were maybe too long. The story was intriguing, the mood could have been pushed a little further since the game is mostly about the feeling of the story I think.
It was hard to get the hang of it, I'm not sure if I understood what the idea was. The art for the cakes and donuts was pretty cute and I liked the music.
This game was so difficult! But I loved the physics were hilarious and the idea was very on point with the theme XD
This game was very entertaining I tried quite a few times to go as far as I could. The art has a nice mood, well done!
I liked the sound design, the game felt very intriguing and atmospheric with the soft movements. I felt it was too difficult, maybe it was just me!
I didn't understand this game very much, maybe I'm overthinking. To me the most glaring issue is how you "merged" the different genres is not really a blend but different games put one after another, maybe you were too ambitious trying to do three genres? The music for the fishing part was funny.
Very cool concept, fun game. The art was nice too, maybe it was my screen resolution but everything seemed far away and that made the game kind of difficult, I wish there was some sort of difficulty curve.
A slow start, but very atmospheric and nice blend of genres. I found it was kind of difficult, but it was a fun mechanic. The art is okay not particularly special but the art direction was solid enough to create a mood.
Super interesting! I wish you'd develop it further! I liked the artstyle, although I felt everything was spread too much across the screen, so maybe mind the composition. Also make the characters always render on top of the 3D so they don't clip with fridge door would have been nice. I was missing some sort of feedback, I didn't understand when I was losing or where the random damage came from. Overall I really liked it.
Cool game! I loved the quick pace and the sudden change in the mood, it was very fun, the music went along with it pretty nice, the artwork and animation were very well done. Good job!
Overall I liked it, but it was very difficult for me, I couldn't win Karen's love lol. I liked the blend but the text was often distracting me from actually playing, I guess that's an extra difficulty. The constant beeping was kind of annoying, and although the artstyle is minimalist and well done, I think it could have a more "romantic" mood of sorts to help with your blending...maybe! Good job overall.
Good idea, I liked your concept and the game was very interesting to play, I couldn't beat the boss though. Regarding art, I liked the sprites but when they were too up close they looked too blurry and that was a little bothersome for the eyes. I wish you had time to properly texture the environment assets, I would have like to see what your little world looks like.
I didn't read the story but I wish you would have turned into a little comic strip or something. A really long wall of text will often be skipped so if you really wanted to tell a story you could benefit from visual storytelling! I really liked the atmosphere and the artstyle, it reminded me of Inside. The gameplay was fun but the character seemed too unresponsive, I got a bit frustrated there.
At first I struggled with the controls but it was pretty fun overall, the character was humorous too. Maybe you didn't have time for this but it would have been nice being able to drop the letters when you were wrong or maybe that it just failed you automatically. The art was pretty nice too.
The game had a nice atmosphere and the art is very well done. The gameplay was kind of awkward with the typing commands but you did a good job with the theme of blending genres, I imagine it would be fun to watch someone playing this and typing like they were in a hacker movie lol.
Overall pretty interesting, I liked your artwork and the art direction that you took and I loved the different monsters that appeared on top of the playables characters. I didn't feel much of a progression but maybe you guys couldn't implement that on time since it's a typical thing for a clicker. I failed to see where you merged different genres though.
I really liked this concept and the art was nice, but I couldn't figure out how to play the game.
Gampleay concept is very fun, although very difficult, I couldn't get to spawn the last character. The art was cute but it felt a bit inconsistent...like it's chess, but also papercuts, but also with metal stuff... I feel it would benefit from picking a single direction since the execution is so well done. Like if everything was papercuts, or if everything was metallic, etc
Very disturbing, I couldn't get too far because I killed all the rabbits by accident. I liked the art direction and the mood you created, and it was certainly a good change to have something to do while reading a whole lot of text, which is what usually makes the genre a little boring, nice entry!
