There was a bug that only appeared in the non-debug build - new build fixes that and a few other bugs I ran into

Unfortunately I cant launch the game, when window opens, there is only black screen. I would really love to play this game, but it appears to be not working.

I died...oh wait, not today. :D Nice little reference. I didn't understand the karma / resigned to my fate decision, so I tried twice with karma and then resigned myself to my fate. And died. I guess that's karma. Impressive graphics (like the windows with the rain and the city scrolling by!) and the footprint and arrows make travel clear. I enjoyed the game and with graphics like this I'd play more. Nice job.

I've occasionally gotten reports of games based on this library just loading a black screen, but I've never been able to duplicate it. Something is failing very early in the load process. My hunch is an external library. You definitely need .Net 4.5 and DirectX10. Those should be present if you're up to date on Windows 10, but I'm not sure how standard they are on previous versions of Windows. If that doesn't help, please let me know what OS you're running.

Pretty good game! the graphics are quite appealing and card mechanics are more engaging then some other games.However the enemies become repetitive(although this game ate my time),

This game is well done. Graphics are great, the writing is fantastic. I was confused at how the card system worked in its entirety, but I got through a few enemies. Great job! It has lots of promise!

Graphics are great, and the mood is just perfect. You should take your time and make it a full game. Combat system is to stressful in the beginning and too easy by the end, try and work with the balance. Great job, I totally enjoyed playing your game!

Very atmospheric and fun, the graphics were cute, pixel art seems to always work well with game jams, but with an intriguing story and mood such as yours I think you have potential to do a version with more polished assets. I feel the battles could have been more balanced as well, the ghosts have too much HP and it gets a little tedious. The karma system was super interesting too, well done!

Well Done, @juxipolo! I'm a huge fan of Pixel-horror and this (especially for a LD game) looks and feels amazing! You were able to get QUITE a number of core systems working together. My hat is off to you, sir.

Really loved the game, art style was amazing. The atmospheric audio was good too, maybe could have made some text sfx. Really impressed you managed to make a game this polished in 48 hours, good job!

like others have said: great art! the lighting was well done and the gameplay was highly entertaining I want more! I'd love to see updates to it, I'm not done playing yet though so I'll get back to the game! seriously great work!

Edit: I found a bug where the game started horrendously lagging while in the dungeons and i wasn't able to leave. Still Phenomenal entry nonetheless!

The art is great! It took me a while to understand the battle system, and it seems like you're heavily incentivized to just use fight, and use the flashlight before the enemy hits you. The fights against the 8 hp spirits felt a bit tedious, I only deal 1 damage per success, whereas they do 3 when the choose to attack. Also, I didn't understand why sometimes it asks for a check during the fight, but other times it just lets me do the action without a check.

I wish there was more, but I guess only so much content can be made during the timeline!
