What a blessing that there are cybernetics  You did an amazin job with the layer masks, it looks realy good. I wish that in game there was an UI Element that tells you in what mode you are in currently and tells you the shortcuts. Hope you had a gread LD46
Interesting game. I don't like blood very much, and surgeries even less, but I kinda enjoyed this one, don't know why.
I like this concept a lot. However, to be honest I couldn't really figure out what to do when I got into surgery. I used the different modes to remove the list of injured body parts and put them on the table, but once I removed all the injured ones I had no idea what to do next so I just removed everything until my patient flat-lined on the table XD
Can't play game, unity error at start.
Nice game. Fits the theme perfectly. Also what happened to these people xD.
You're using unity, so please include mac/linux/web builds. Tried wine, but it crashed on launch.
If this is how medicine will look in the future then sign me up for a time machine! Really fun game once I figured out that you had to click the top of the notepad to hide it. :D
Great job. Very unique take on the theme as well as use of layers and masks. Really great job.
For some reason the game does not seem to run on my system, but based on what others said I'm quite interested if you can get a working build. I'm still running Windows 7 64 bit if that helps.
i couldn't do anything, just give him oxygen and blood, no instructions or tutorials, mb its my resolution? its 2560x1080 (wide)
Hah reminds me of Operation! Well done :D
Very cool game and quite innovative! It took me a while to realise that I could drop the clipboard to reveal the regneration pods underneath. For a while I was just dumping them all on the table instead. The game makes you think and it's cool to remove different body parts (especially the skull, I chuckled at the thought of a face just flapping around without one). Good job!
Very cool! I love the 3-layer human, and the tutorial was well done to ramp me up into what would otherwise have been a difficult game to learn.
I had several successful surgeries, but also some failure. I think the pacing is nicely designed. The wait time on the regeneration pods is perfect. They are slow enough to bottleneck me, but fast enough that sometimes the body part is ready before I am. It made for a nice tension between "do I wait for the part now, or go back to searching for the next thing I need to replace?"
The clipboard was pretty useless, since it did not check off the fixed items, but I liked it that way. It meant that I had to move around the body exploring for the damage myself... altho maybe there is an even more turbo version of the game where I see the remaining TODO list without blocking my pods, and am able to (and required to!) work even faster. The only splinter that caught me was that sometimes there seems to be a weird offset between the mouse and organ, only rarely, and it snaps into the wrong place. It left me wondering why the surgery wasn't over, but it was because I'd mis-installed an organ.
Overall a really well put-together package. The art and sounds supported the play experience nicely.
Fits the theme nice and and is pretty fun :) I had trubles with the cipboard at the start tho lol
This was a lot of fun even though I wasn't sure what I was doing most of the time. The idea of the xray-vision is done really well, and love just being able to litter the floor with body parts etc. Was definitely a bit of a struggle to work out exactly what to do at first - maybe the vision should be on by default as I nearly gave up before reading the tutorial
Cool concept! I was unable to keep it alive though lol, replaced a looooot of body parts but not enough i guess
The controlls are very unclear
Thanks i hate it hahaha. Cool concept but yucky body horror. Those poor people Capture.PNG
Badly needs instructions on how to view the different layers! I almost gave up trying to play this because it didn't seem like I could do anything but give the patient blood and O2.
For anyone reading that can't figure it out, use 1, 2, and 3 to switch between layers (really you just need 2 and 3).
Apart from that, very cool concept and a clean execution. I managed to save a guy ;D
Really fun! I agree that it desperately needs better instructions in the game about how to change layers and where to put body parts to fix them, I also almost gave up because I didn't know how to do anything. However once I figured it out, it was really really fun! I thought it was a great concept and executed well, just needs a bit more guidance for the player. Well done
Fun concept, just needs some polish like the tutorial text scrolls outside the window and there is some formatting issues on the notepad.
Really cool- wish we could have accomplished surgery like this in our game! Great job!
