LD44 — Your life is currency

The Last Duel by dollarone 2019-05-10T15:45:33Z

Interesting concept and unique gameplay for the theme! At first I didn't realise that I had to click each time to advance the game, so if there was a button or something visual that would indicate this that would be good. Other than that I like it

Ultimate Financial Championship by Jezzamon 2019-05-17T11:36:57Z

Quite an impressive game to get it working with multiplayer. The buy/sell battle system is quite unique and the crunchy audio feels just right. I'd suggest changing the audio for the coins to be a random pitch or something, just to mix things up when you collect multiple. Other than that it's an enjoyable and unique game for the theme!

Rocket Slaver by M2tias 2019-05-21T15:21:32Z

I like the aesthetic you've gone for but it could do with some sound effects. The movement felt a bit too solid at times and the spawn rate felt a bit sudden. Bit hard to fight and dodge bullets but overall it was fun to play and well polished. Good job!

Double Deal by PowerSpark 2019-04-30T18:58:49Z

Really nice game with well polished visuals, well done!

Hand of Death by josefnpat 2019-04-30T19:54:59Z

Nice game, great visuals

Sofa Kingdom: Change of Thrones by LandoSystems 2019-05-02T12:13:24Z

Great art direction and gameplay. It reminds me a lot of Rayman 1. The dancing pins were a nice touch. Sometimes coins would pop out of me when collecting them. I wasn't sure if I had reached max capacity or if it was a built in mechanic when I jumped, but either way that didn't make much sense.

Great enemies, great game. I especially liked the title screen sequence. Any devs that take the time to make a good title screen deserves praise. I liked the sceen transition effect as well

LifeTime Incorporated by Flatgub 2019-05-09T21:09:13Z

Nice game, it's really well polished. I felt that the text scrolled a bit too fast but other than that it was enjoyable. Interesting and unique take on the theme!

Coinus Accumulus by djfariel 2019-04-30T18:44:37Z

Good game but very frustrating at times. I found it annoying to lose all my gems when their trigger boxes were so small. If you could either give an absorption range so that they move into you when you get close, or increase their trigger boxes it'd be better. It's too pin perfect right now Nice amount of polish though!

The passion of a peasant by kuro 2019-05-01T13:10:14Z

Very interesting concept. The limited moves make you think and I liked the switcheroo of the genie at the start.

Treasury Of The Cannon by Phobos001 2019-04-29T21:03:14Z

Interesting game. Reminds me a lot of Space Invaders. I love the punchiness of the fire button and the sounds in general

NECROCAT 9000 by tweedle 2019-04-30T15:29:40Z

The opening cutscene is really good and the delayed "meow" at the start of the game made me laugh. Nice gameplay. I feel like there should be a way to recover health somehow. Maybe combine the fact that your cat has "9000" lives with the fact it's a necromancer? You could play around with the idea of reviving your corpse or something. Not sure how but it's something to think about!

Meat Mountain by gamechoy 2019-05-03T22:25:42Z

I think your controls need to be properly introduced in the game, as it's not completely clear what to do without reading your description. I like the combat, just takes getting used to. Artwork is nice too! Being able to combat fluidly takes a bit of time and I wasn't really sure how to combo effectively (what worked against one enemy was different to another). So yeah if you improve how to teach your mechanics then it'd be pretty solid!

Necromancy is fun by yetanother 2019-04-29T17:41:21Z

Nice game but I think you lose too many soldiers each raid. Some balancing there could make this game better. Also I think you could add a risk reward mechanic similar to how Fallout Shelter lets you speed up production. Since you're a necromancer, you could add something thematic there?

Dungeon Buddies by udo 2019-04-30T15:24:37Z

Nice, fun game. I like the wizard's ability to zombify stuff. Opens up a range of possibilities for level design

Ephemera by atmospherium 2019-04-30T14:27:40Z

It's pretty flashy and it's a pretty cool effect you've achieved with the time limit. I didn't really see the theme fitting in with it though. Maybe you could have added some sort of rythm mechanic similar to Elite Beat Agents? That way you'd have a "health bar" that is kept up through the player's actions

Bloodmage by loadsofmana 2019-04-29T21:33:15Z

Nice game! The art style is very SNES like. Reminds me a bit of Castlevania in that sense. Good job on this one. Watching the blood refill my health was quite satisfying too. I reckon if you added a glow or something during this then it'd be even cooler!

Heartaker by lukbebalduke 2019-05-02T11:40:39Z

Fantastic game and amazing visuals, phenomenal work. I was going to suggest that being able to double jump or something would help, but then I saw that you could buy a dash reset. You've thought of pretty much everything. Being able to continue after dying is great for replayability. The blood streaks are on point too. There was a time where I tried to dash at an enemy but it didn't for some reason. Could be a bug? It only ever occurred once when I tried dashing at a samurai in blood. Might be a once in 100 game occurrence perhaps.

Also that blood shield icon didn't make much sense to me. I knew they died in blood because of your description, but the icon makes it look like it's immune whilst in blood. This could be better explained.

Fantastic job though, 5/5

Anguish by negativice 2019-05-21T15:26:42Z

Nicely done but it was hard to play at first. It was quite comical to see the enemies spin off into oblivion when I defeated them. I liked the orbs falling off the player as well, as well as the colour difference. As soon as you see a green drop, you know you have to be careful. Nice game!

Rise of Spartacute by Garazbolg2 2019-05-01T12:34:50Z

Some of the game feels a bit clunky, such as attacking to buy. Also, left and right click seemed to both be attack, but only right click seemed to defeat enemis which was weird. I like the music a lot, and the art style is unique

To Health and Back by boaheck-artgent 2019-05-01T14:51:52Z

Nice game. It's quite hard but it has that fiero style so it's okay. I liked the bodies remaining when you respawn, that was cool. Graphics are nice too. Maybe add some friction on that wall jump for better control

Idle Idol by Daniel Moreno 2019-04-29T21:43:40Z

Good game! Clickers aren't my sort of thing but it's well polished so good job

Mycelium Man by ragtagradical 2019-04-30T16:18:32Z

Good game. I like how the shooting feels. Making Mycelium didn't make much sense at first, so maybe introducing that mechanic early on could be worthwile

Prostage by Caffeinated Psychics 2019-04-30T14:59:33Z

The game is okay but I feel like the speed of the shield when holding down shift should be the default speed. I don't see any benefit of not holding down shift. I think some sort of visual indicator on which enemy is going to shoot should also be there. Other than that it's pretty good

CurANTcy by HacksawUnit 2019-04-29T17:25:56Z

Nice game, simple mechanics. It's very fun and infuriating! The mechanics are great after a few tries to practice, and you definitely hit the emotion of wanting to succeed the higher the ant gets

Risky Life by neowhoru 2019-05-01T12:30:57Z

Nice game, I liked the retro feel. Since there's a bit of level behind the player at the start, it would have been cool to see an easter egg there. Not that that detracts from the game or anything, it's solid

Path of Redemption by Simon Rahnasto 2019-05-09T22:53:45Z

Love the art style and the Zelda-esque layout. There's an insane amount of polish in this game for the time period, so well done on that. Even the health UI has a little animation. I'd love to see more development from you all in the future! Maybe add some subtitles when reading the slabs just to include both audio and visual feedback. It can be easier to follow with the text just in case I miss something! Great game

L.Y.L.A. - Your personal Living Your Life Assistant by Gruni 2019-04-29T20:55:04Z

Quite unique and the game sounds and looks lovely. The AI reminds me somewhat of GLaDOS

Bakemono by Lawrence 2019-05-01T13:45:17Z

This game is absolutely amazing! It's so satisfying to hit opponents with arrows. Good job on this one

Die Back by NikolayKuznetsov 2019-04-30T17:15:50Z

Art style is amazing. The drag to sell mechanic didn't really see any play for a while so maybe introduce that earlier on? Really nice graphics though!

Woodland Warfare by Kichex 2019-05-01T12:39:06Z

Music is great and the art looks nice. The enemy's turn should be renamed though as I thought it was an AI at first. Maybe some additional instructions on how to play as well since I feel like I shouldn't move my main character, but instead summon things.

That Time When I was Reincarnated as a Coin by randomphantom 2019-05-01T13:25:01Z

At first I thought this game was going to be ridiculously hard, but actually it's quite intuitive. It's not hard at all to jump onto your side and start rolling. Good job on getting that right. I like the coins of the fallen remaining after you fail. Could do with some sound effects but otherwise it's a nice little game!

Criminal Street by GastricSparrow 2019-05-01T13:16:09Z

It's a pretty good game but I'd recommend to increase the hitboxes because sometimes it can be hard to grab the characters. It's good otherwise!

Real time by antoined73 2019-05-09T22:37:16Z

Love the art style and the screenshake felt nice. Simple design and executed well so good job! How did you implement the bullets spawning? My laptop (maybe it's just getting old) suddenly started having breathing issues so I wonder if you're instantiating each one on key press? Very fun game, like the particle effects.

Life is too short by Wojciech Bruski 2019-05-01T14:35:18Z

Your game is okay, nice art and nice music. The fruit level was a bit too difficult though. The fruits dropped too quickly for me to grab them all. Maybe this was intended, not sure though. The gameplay is quite unique though so good job

Only Got Nine Lives To Live by Sempiternal 2019-04-30T14:22:11Z

This is amazing for the time limit, well done. I really liked click on planets to see the artwork of the surface. Even the planets rotating themselves were awesome. Maybe a few extra sound effects when navigating or something could be good. Something futuristic or that reflects a space ship. I agree with others, the UI had too small of a font size, so upping that would improve things. Good job otherwise!

Devil's Mining Co. by Dj Depressive 2019-04-29T22:56:24Z

Great game! The voice acting as pretted solid and I enjoyed the gameplay

Spirits of the Unknown by TheSomeoneXD 2019-04-30T17:51:54Z

Nice game, nice graphics. I feel like the text should have a skippable feature though. For example, press space to instantly load all the text, that way I can read at my own pace insead of waiting for it to load letter by letter.

Pucamuc by Mors 2019-05-01T13:55:56Z

Really fun and solid controls. I love the personality of the main character, really makes the game shine. I raged on trying to get that duck near the start, but that's the whole point I think. The movement is pretty solid except for when I try to line myself up close to an edge. That is a little annoying but other than that, great stuff

Lifelust by MateusBoga 2019-04-30T19:10:05Z

Solid game. I'd say the mechanic isn't that inventive, but the gameplay is really fun and it's well polished. I reckon if you made it so you can move up and down too (similar to how Golden Axe works) then it'd be even better. Then at the end of each wave you could auto move the player down so that your shopkeeper has room. Good job with this!

Alistair's Crypt by Spudward 2019-04-30T19:21:06Z

Nice game, the names of the spells were cool. I liked Infernal Malice. I liked the level of polish as well, such as the fading on the menu screen etc. There should be some visual indicator of enemy health though, and how much health each spell costs. Some balancing on getting health back needs to be considered as well. Nice job overall!

Bot escape by Corbak 2019-04-30T19:59:37Z

Nice game and nice level design. I feel like the audio is a bit too harsh but other than that it's a good game

Marrow Quest by qst0 2019-04-29T20:34:55Z

Nice game, interesting gameplay. I felt lost at first but after a few tries it seemed to make sense!

Purple Dimension by XCVZXC 2019-04-29T21:25:02Z

Nice game! I liked the added touch of being able to shoot through the windows

World Class Track Meat by Dan Thompson 2019-04-30T19:14:46Z

Nice game, playing without legs was funny

Moneyons! by Maytch 2019-05-01T13:33:58Z

Nice little puzzle game. Really enjoyed this one. I got a bit confused on the first stage with the rabbit but I eventually figured it out.

The Cash with a Hat by Ratrat44 2019-04-29T21:13:01Z

Really fun game! Good take on the theme as well. I think if you had more thought out puzzles in your level the game would be 5/5 for me.

BloodVirus by Team-on 2019-04-30T14:17:02Z

Nice game and quite impressive for the time limit! The controls to build barracks etc felt a bit clunky at times though. I wasn't sure exactly how to build whether I had to click and drag, double click etc. I think that should be more clear. I tried pressing How to Play but the button didn't seem to do anything. Perhaps you could put the how to play on the menu straight away? That way people can get the gist and then get right into the game. You could even weave a short tutorial into the menu somehow

Animancia by D1gital Cuts 2019-04-30T14:54:47Z

5/5 on all, this is an amazing game. The boomerang style mechanic is really unique and deserves praise. I think the corridors are a bit too thin at times, unless you add a way for the souls to ricochet off in a wild sort of way. I'd like the areas to be a bit more open to allow me to have fun with the mechanic. A more thought out level design could take this further into a full game. Keep up the good work!

Harvester by Elnu 2019-04-30T15:06:08Z

Good job for the time limit. I like the shockwave effect. The controls need some improving though. It's always tricky finding the balance between realism and fun controls, but some more tweaking there would go a long way. I think the game would be more fun if you could turbo boost into some asteroids as well. Possibly yield the player more money the harder they smash into them?

Billy The Man by Dani Desa 2019-05-01T14:25:23Z

Nice graphics but it doesn't really fit the theme. I attack but don't lose health for example. And there's a coin near the bank that gives me infinite money, but I can't spend the money on anything. If you could think of a way to integrate the money with some sort of gameplay mechanic that'd be good

A Heart of Gold by Fat cat 2019-04-29T17:21:39Z

Nice game, I really like the walking animation and the art style. All the different creatures are cool (I like the golem one) and the scrolling effect of your story is nice (thank you for letting me skip after dying!)

Money is Life by lilou_cormic 2019-04-30T15:32:30Z

Interesting but I feel like the rotation of the board could be improved. I didn't feel the need to rotate much at times when I could buy bombs instead. I liked the level of polish you gave it

Save others Save you by Wolfsblut 2019-05-09T21:56:21Z

The controls are a bit sticky and one of the capsules to save didn't want to tag along, even after getting rid of one for it. So not sure what's going on there. I reckon this game could be pretty good once you expand on it. Reminds me somewhat of Pikmin so maybe take some more inspiration from games like that

Memories of a Captain by OwlyCode 2019-05-03T22:20:09Z

Really nice game and quite unique! I like the perspective of moving into the scene which is a nice break from side scrolling. The ship snaps to the centre when changing from left to right, so it might be worthwhile lerping the movement instead. The text on the bottom left could be emphasised a bit more as well. Other than that, good job!

Jukebox Panic! by Kaish 2019-05-02T11:59:16Z

Nice game, very unique. I feel like the jukebox could have a personality. So when coins go in it could smile or something. Might be a different art direction though. Your art is nice, very SNES like. All in all good job!

Jumpcoins by Shawn Moore 2019-04-29T21:17:51Z

Good game but that double jump level was really hard. Nice coin mechanic though and the shockwave effect was cool

Force of Nature by Griddolini 2019-04-30T20:33:16Z

Nice game, the art is really nice. I especially like the swipe marks left over from the Q ability. Good job!

Rainbow Rampage - Twitch Overlay Game by Instafluff 2019-05-01T00:14:41Z

Game was fun and very unique! I was glad that I got a chance to play it

Truth of life by EddenSoft 2019-04-30T18:24:08Z

I feel like the camera should be repositioned so that you have more time to respond to where the money will be. As this was a Unity build, you might want to give cinemachine a try to achieve this

Splitter Cells by Gunnbju 2019-04-30T20:03:41Z

Solid game. It's satisfying to see all the minions infect everything

Material Cube by chawls_v 2019-04-29T20:17:09Z

Amazing atmosphere! It's almost symbolic in how it captures materialism. The animation of that droid sucking out your lifeforce was by far the coolest part of your game. So satisfying to watch, yet creepy at the same time! Nice work here.

Cowry - A game about change by johanhelsing 2019-04-29T21:37:15Z

Your game has a lot of potential. Was quite funny to join that first character only to dismiss them.

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-29T20:40:07Z

@mia-devs Welp, good thing I opted out of audio ratings!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-29T21:45:05Z

@grllle I might be able to get a webgl one up. To be honest I hadn't even thought about building to multiple platforms! I'll see how much a build change breaks my game and make a decision based on that :D

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-29T22:40:00Z

@kristinnes Thanks for the feedback! What would you suggest to get rid of the confusion? I suppose I could add a short cutscene at the start to create a quick "to the point" story?

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-30T13:58:14Z

@grllle I tried a WebGL build but it's too laggy so sorry about that! If you watch the youtube clip though you can pretty much see the gameplay.

@slimabob @pusheeneiro @chawls-v @thomas-foster Thank you all very much!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-30T18:35:25Z

@team-on I didn't want to because I thought audio related moreso to having a decent soundtrack etc, whereas mine is just random quotes. Not sure what the rules are on enabling after the deadline though

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-30T20:30:06Z

@szabe Thanks for the feedback! @josefnpat Thank you! That's literally it. A twitch based game where you glorify peasants to get a highscore. If you miss one then you get a penalty, and they move into you and take your money! @mrtnldm thank you!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-30T20:55:33Z

@nayaki-anandan Thanks for the feedback! I should add the option to turn off screenshake for accessibility I think. Perhaps the lag was a result of my 3am spaghetti code!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-04-30T23:53:43Z

@sempiternal Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you, but my drawing really is terrible, ha. I'll try and improve my art skills for the next one! I need to get a style locked down so the end result isn't so bad

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-01T11:51:39Z

@toasteater Thanks! I was going for humour more than anything. I thought audio meant really good soundtracks etc, not my voice acting, ha!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-02T13:30:19Z

@luckyfeathers Thank you! What would you suggest to help explain the economy and funds? Maybe I could weave that into the tutorial as well, and force the player to tax at least once so that all the controls are used? Spawn rate is definitely an issue as time goes on. It gets chaotic fast, it's something I'd like to get under control. Thanks for taking the time to play!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-02T15:21:30Z

@luckyfeathers You're absolutely right, thanks for the advice!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-02T16:05:34Z

@corqi Thanks for the feedback! That's interesting. In which way do they not respond? If you hit the enemies correctly then the cooldown resets, but if you miss you get a 2 second penalty where you can't move at all. Is there a bug that I'm not aware of?

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-06T19:22:58Z

@mrjoshuamclean maybe! I thought that rating was only for actual soundtracks though.. I'll just have to opt in during the next one!

@corqi Ah yeah I see what you mean. I need more visual feedback for "hits" vs "non hits" to help this.

@ogma Definitely stuff to consider, thank you very much for the feedback!

@attala @silvervalegames Thank you!

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-09T22:58:26Z

@elysiagriffin Thank you for playing my game :)

The Poor Rebellion by Adam Clayden 2019-05-17T11:32:45Z

@jezzamon Thank you for the feedback! I agree, there needs to be more to guide the player. The A/D range could be buffed as well

The Price To Pay by Lshiro 2019-05-09T21:16:21Z

Nice game, nice graphics. I recognise some of the characters from the recent humble bundle. I'd say you need more visual/audio feedback when you hit enemies. Also when you get hit back. It was quite hard to determine where I needed to be in order to make contact and without getting hit back. Perhaps adding some invincibility frames when getting hit could help with this. Also any flashes, sounds etc on the enemy when they get hit would help improve the game. Everything else is pretty well made, good job!

Life Path by kristinnes 2019-04-29T20:38:54Z

Nice game with an interesting take on the theme, good job

The Robert in Time by Cloud4Jam 2019-05-02T13:27:52Z

Almost everything about this game is great. It's all on point. My only issue is the "locked" icon on the skills. It feels like I can't press them, but when I do they unlock anyway. Might be better to change this icon to eliminate this confusion. Or perhaps as soon as you get the life needed, change the icon. Flash it once or something to emphasise that you can use it. Maybe some extra visual feedback "on hit" to give the player confidence that what they're doing is having an effect on the enemies too.

It's a great game though, you've all done incredibly well

Money Heist by dmdmdmdm 2019-04-29T21:20:58Z

The audio of your money slicing was nice. It's almost as if I liked going onto the traps intentionally. Should I seek help? Good game overall!

Coin Odyssey by Thermacon 2019-04-30T15:17:11Z

Quite clunky controls. I think a way to improve it would be to change the boost from a jump forward to making the coin jump on its side and to start rolling. That way you can zip around at speed for a set time limit whilst still retaining the slower movement when it's over. Nice work but the controls need improving

100 leaves by neverix 2019-05-09T21:32:49Z

Nice game. The music is cool and I liked being able to stretch the branches. Some more feedback on when hitting the enemies would be good though as it was sometimes hard to see if I was in range. I got them pretty much all the time, but in my head it felt hit and miss. The controls took some getting used to because they were inverted. Some clearer explanations of that beforehand would have helped a lot.

Protect The Dungeon by MashUpGames 2019-05-03T16:44:02Z

Great game! I got to round 19 before stopping to rate. It's solid but the gameplay got a bit stale after I put a demon in all zones 3 times. After that it was a case of dropping one in when one died. Of course this is something you'd make given extra time, so you could think about how to spice up the gameplay during the later rounds. It's quite addictive, well done

Transfusion by WubbaDuck 2019-04-30T14:44:10Z

Really like this game. The transfusion mechanic really makes you think about how best to beat the level. At the start I didn't actually notice what the transfusion did, so maybe some sort of visual effect could help that? Maybe some red dots floating toward the other character, or even make one go blue and the other red? Other than that it's a fun game

Horde Defence by Lemon 2019-05-01T12:58:11Z

Your game is pretty good! I think you should have an extra screen where it says something like, "Wave complete. New wave starting in ... " Because when the wave is over it looks like the game has froze or something, so keep that visual feedback up. I think your upgrades dropdown could be changed to icons or something. Could even link it to keyboard input too

Blood and goods by selewi 2019-05-10T20:58:59Z

Nice concept. The audio was a bit choppy on my laptop (Google Chrome) but it was nice audio nonetheless. Gameplay feels nice and the art style is cool

Financial Getaway by Josh Mcmillan 2019-04-30T14:39:13Z

Very entertaining game, love the accent. The destructable environments were a nice touch too. I feel at times the doors opening didn't happen frequently enough, perhaps if you made them open from swerving too fast around a corner it'd fix that? Still, great game, well done!

-1 (Minus 1) by Mahou 2019-04-29T17:34:32Z

Very nice game. It uses the classic health costs actions but with a puzzle mechanic. It certainly made me think a few times, run through penalty areas and got me wondering what the optimal routes were. Good job!

Stargem by Rheel 2019-05-09T21:42:41Z

Nice game and unique mechanics. The screenshake felt just right. At times the player doesn't spin when moving, it might be intentional (?) but I'd prefer it if I span all the time when moving. Maybe when jumping as well. The controls would feel nicer and I'd have more fun moving around. It has potential if fleshed out some more, spawn rate of the missiles adjusted and some level design, but it's a cool game nonetheless

Deathly Trade by Kristof Franko 2019-05-09T21:27:56Z

Overall it was pretty good! The hand painted style skybox looked great. I would say that the level was perhaps too big for the game. Everything felt spaced out so I think if you scaled it down the game would be more intense and you could show off your mechanics quicker. After attacking there's a cooldown of some sort but it isn't really clear how long it is or why it's really caused. Maybe a death animation or effect when the enemies die could be cool as well

Faery Tales by Ryan Wine 2019-05-02T11:50:59Z

That teleport effect was awesome! I liked the level design and being able to time movements to defeat enemies with the drills. What I'd suggest as an improvement would be to make platforms accessible from below. So if I jump I can go through a platform and then land on it. It gets a little annoying to make a jump only to collide with a platform

Nice game!

utsvulten by ditto 2019-05-02T12:48:54Z

Very disturbing but it's amazing. Completely unique and unexpected, well done! My only suggestion is to give them more things to eat! The weirder the better!

Chess Adventure by MoonLens 2019-04-29T20:46:04Z

Nice game, I like all the different unit types

The life you have... probably by pixelcrustpunk 2019-04-29T21:56:47Z

The quotes make the game, made me laugh

Nekro Tower by octoprogames 2019-04-30T15:11:55Z

This game has a lot of potential. The audio is far too loud though and trying to grab the limbs is hard to do at times. If all the limbs do the same damage etc then maybe increase the hitbox to a central area that takes one at random to throw? It'd make for better gameplay too because it'll help a lot in those pinch situations.

The absorption of additional limbs is quite cool. For some reason it reminds me of Abe's Oddysee!

Remember by Elijah Moreno 2019-05-10T21:36:19Z

Pretty good game, I like the typewriter noise and scrolling effect of the text. I also like the floating text when you look around, it's pretty ominous. Unique game compared to the other submissions. The camera angles were nice as well on the cutscenes. Not sure if it was just me, but I feel like the game ended sort of abruptly. Would be good to figure out a way to transition back to the menu or have a good final transtition scene

LD46 — Keep it alive

My Relationship with a Cube by Stending 2020-05-10T18:23:30Z

Well executed game! I liked the simple art style and how the music ties in with the game's mechanics. The transitions were nice too. Chapter 6 didn't seem to work too well with the rhythm but the others were pretty good.

Twitch Feeds by StaNov 2020-05-09T17:58:58Z

Quite innovative! The sound effects and music were great. At first I thought it was going to be very hard to play but it wasn't that bad at all. Well done!

Keep her alive, please.. by Sublustris 2020-05-11T23:31:57Z

This game should have way more ratings than it currently has. It's fantastic but frustratingly hard (which is exactly what you're going for!) Once I figured out what to do it became pretty fun.

My only issues with the game is how it teaches the player. You make them want to tap straight away, which kills them off. Think about how best to rejig the beginning. Also, your game's design is focused around letting the player die in order to figure out the game. This isn't too ideal so if you can figure out a better way of teaching the player that'd be great.

Other than that, one of the better games I've play this LD! The graphics reminded me of classic arcade or Megadrive titles so it had that nostalgic hit, and the gameplay was simple and fun. Really good job on this game!

WAVER by Skyeward 2020-04-21T23:55:30Z

Fantastic game, very unique and lots of fun. My only criticism would be to include a letter for each seat as it becomes quite hard to map the screen to my keyboard mentally. I love the extra gameplay though with the "gimme a" and the wave cam!

Its Alive! by automatonvx 2020-04-20T19:49:00Z

Pretty cool game! I felt that the zombie bride was really unique so that was nice to see. Puzzles were well thought out too. there was one level where I jumped up and discovered a new area (I thought it was an easter egg). Turns out there was nothing there and I fell down into oblivion. I think it was map 4 or something (after the first arrow mission). but other than that it's a cool game

Keep It Alive by SimonRhys 2020-04-23T19:48:50Z

Pretty cool game! I liked the asteroids solidifying instead of just disappearing. Good job!

Keep the flame alive by Mcreamer6 2020-04-20T21:51:10Z

Great to see a Pico-8 game! It's quite nice but the difficulty could be scaled a bit more. It's fairly easy and I don't think it rises in difficulty by too much. I liked the particle effects and gameplay was good!

Marrow by Baconinvader 2020-04-22T20:52:31Z

The game was cool, I liked the grainy audio as it reminded me of old retro games. The name and menu design felt quite disconnected from the game itself (I didn't really get why I was wielding a gun), but it was a fun experience!

it lives and grows by JulianMH 2020-04-20T22:24:12Z

Very nice game and fairly well polished. The water effects and sounds were well made and I had a lot of fun growing different plants!

A Meatball by Slowpoke 2020-04-20T21:40:46Z

Pretty enjoyable game! I liked the graphics on the ball and the level design was really well thought out. Each mechanic was introduced gradually and made it very easy for the player to learn, which is an accomplishment. Would benefit from more levels!

Seeking Power by gustavo.christino 2020-05-10T17:46:40Z

Your game is very difficult. It took a while for me to get past the first section because of dodging everything and keeping the timer up. Still, I like the timer element and the sense of urgency it gives to you as a player. I wasn't too sure on the theme of the game but its got some nice player feedback with screenshakes etc. I like the different death messages as well depending on how you lose

Seasonal Survivor by rigdonware 2020-04-20T23:54:32Z

Great artwork and fun game. I like the thought process behind the weather forecast and planning in the shop. I didn't really get the speed boost though. Did that make my mouse faster or swat speed faster? I didn't feel its effects much. Good work though!

Onward Momentum by binary_coder 2020-04-20T21:58:14Z

The game is quite nice but I couldn't figure out how to delete inputs I had put in previously. The mechanics are fairly innovative and overall the game is fun. Good job!

Silly Fluffy Bunny by Jiri Hysek 2020-04-20T19:05:17Z

I'm biased to line draw mechanics so this game got me hooked. Cute art style too. My wife also loved it and was laughing and stressing at the bunnies being stupid. Great game and nice level design.

Lich Clicker by Fictions 2020-05-10T18:09:21Z

Great game. Nice cookie clicker mechanics and the graphics are really nice. My finger now aches from clicking so much which I guess is a good and bad thing! Perhaps add a way to auto click on hover? You've sort of done this with the damage over time but would be nice to just watch the numbers go up with little effort

Always like Lich based concepts. Keep up the good work!

Father dies At The End by nahual 2020-05-10T18:36:58Z

Graphics are awesome and loved the way you introduced everything. The phone call at the start really immerses you. The gameplay was a bit tricky though. When the patient couldn't breath I used the bag valve mask, but then he was bleeding out, so I held that. But no matter what I seemed to do, he kept dying. And the defibrillator didn't do much to save him. Was a very hard game, but solid execution on everything else

Shrodinger's Cat by Lex 2020-04-20T18:58:29Z

Nice game! I liked the puzzle element and the theme is really cool. Maybe if there were some riddles or more replayability then it would be even better. The graphics reminded me of Pokemon, which is never a bad thing. Good job!

BABYSITTING by Tayfun 2020-05-09T19:01:04Z

The collisions of the grass and other objects were fairly annoying and the camera angle was a little weird. It was hard to know where I was jumping. I liked the theme of keeping the baby alive though, but I'm not sure if it fits the platformer genre. The pickups felt very linear too. Graphics were nice and the level ramps up in difficulty which is good though!

Egg Hero by Firebelley 2020-04-22T20:46:42Z

Great game! Satisfying to play with the punches but the egg dies very quickly. I felt at times the game effectively taught you through failure. In level 2 the egg moves through the walls requiring you to run all the way around to get to it, but you wouldn't know to do this early on if it didn't die the first time. So I think better pacing and level design is needed there, but otherwise the game was good!

Goblympic Games by Artiko 2020-05-10T18:27:28Z

Nice game but could do with more visual feedback. When I press E for example or when I pick up fuel it could make a little sound or particle effect. Good job though!

Space Mercenary by Lorwon 2020-04-21T17:48:20Z

The movement was a bit hard to control but that might just be me! I liked the fuel particle effects and audio in general. Sometimes an asteroid spawned at the same location as me, meaning I'd die instantly, which wasn't great. The beginning shop area didn't make much sense as I didn't have any gold, and after that I wasn't completely sure what each upgrade did. Gameplay is smooth though so good job!

Bonfire by PapriGames 2020-04-23T19:57:44Z

Nice game, I like the scrolling text and overall feel. Controls were fairly easy to grasp despite the lack of tutorial (although adding one would help). Didn't completely get the vibrating noise but I assume it was an enemy spawning. Maybe make that a 3D sound and let it guide the player to where they spawned? Either way was fun

Mut-ant by ketura 2020-05-11T23:45:57Z

The game is fairly unique but the tutorial is all over the place. Try to reduce text where you can and teach the player through gameplay. There's a lot of technical work that has gone into this for such a short space of time which is commendable, so good job!

How to raise a Demon by zmoa 2020-04-21T15:13:51Z

Graphics are really nice and overall I liked the game. The text at the top left corner was hard to read as the text colour was too dark, and the attack range of the bats was quite hard to anticipate. But other than that, good job!

Work from home - rat battle! by knason 2020-04-22T15:55:28Z

Nice game! Always cool to play something made in Pico-8. It feels like a classic arcade game, similar to Donkey Kong and is quite charming. It's missing some collision elements though, but I imagine if I had to go down each chain before going up another, the game would be a lot more difficult.

Overall it was good!

Honeycomb Empire by Axeliz 2020-04-23T20:05:53Z

Really nice looking graphics. I like their facial expressions and looks like a lot of work for a game jam! Was a bit hard to get used to the controls at first though.

Alien Inquisitor by bsdrago 2020-04-21T18:19:22Z

Game feels like it has potential, and I really liked the animations on the alien. You could feel that it was in pain. My only issue really is that the decisions feel extremely biased towards using force, rather than a game loop that encourages different forms of interrogation. I think if there was some sort of way to spice things up a bit that would be good (similar to how Undertale lets you win without fighting)

FIREKATANA by DPS2004 2020-04-22T20:41:31Z

Really nice looking game. The audio reminded me a lot of old GBC games. I liked the gameplay even though the dash felt a little clunky at times. It would be nice if there was more visual feedback on the enemies getting hit but that's a minor thing really.

Good game, good job!

Keep What Alive by Valeth2124 2020-05-10T15:41:03Z

Nice game with lots of assets and content for such a short period of time. Good job! To help with atmosphere I reckon it'd be good to have the odd cough and at first I wasn't completely sure how to use the medicine. I felt like I bought it and got infected instantly, so that could do with some balancing. Game was good though!

Together by Ulcius 2020-04-23T19:41:25Z

Interesting game but it went from 0 - 100 real fast. The whole section where she wanted to be left alone and there wasn't a single option to let her do that. All the options were blowing everything out of proportion which felt a bit unrealistic. The game was effectively forcing me make a big deal out of nothing but I suppose that was the point of the game.

Liked the hand drawn art style and overall mood of the game. Audio is nice and the mechanics tie in nicely with the various parts of the game which is cool. Good job!

Egg Mother - Keep It Alive! by Barrier 2020-04-20T21:30:23Z

Nice game which really feels like the makings of a hypercasual game or something. The bird was quite hard to deal with, and I'm not sure if hitting the beak vs its back did much the first time. But it was simple to play and fun because of that, so good job!

I feel like squashing the bugs could turn into some sort of combo system somehow. Like killing one allows you to leap to another nearby or something to rack up some sort of score multiplier. Something to think about!

AA Jumper 2 by Rhiannon 2020-05-10T18:15:08Z

I feel as if the world is way too big for what you're trying to achieve. My advice is to scale down your game and focus on the core components. Do you need to be in such a huge ravine? Also wielding a handgun to take down airships seems a bit out of place. I liked the look of the airships and the world in general, but just felt it was too big

Frictionless by Agent_Jo 2020-04-21T15:05:00Z

Good game! The title screen was really cool. I didn't really understand what to do at all when I first started, but I got the hang of things. At the start I thought the spells were different types of missile attacks rather than damage boosts etc. I think it'd be useful to see a cooldown timer as well. Quite a unique game and overall was pretty fun!

Hop to it by Owen Rees 2020-05-09T19:16:11Z

Pretty cool! The 3D reminded me of an old 90s game which isn't a bad thing. Lots of content in here in such a short space of time, so good job!

Keep the campfire alive by 1257th or nothing 2020-05-09T18:13:34Z

Nice game, but I couldn't do much after picking up the first log. Nice use of audio and visual feedback to show the character being afraid though. I could feel the emotions coming through there which was great! Just at the start I couldn't seem to do anything

Keep the campfire alive by 1257th or nothing 2020-05-10T20:58:14Z

@1257th-or-nothing I did do that but I couldn't jump over anything to get to the other logs. Maybe it was just my resolution or something

Spirit Quest: Journey to Devil's Mound by TheseusInABottle 2020-04-20T20:07:52Z

The music is amazing! Always a fan of the homemade style. The gameplay was alright too, but I found myself spamming the boost button to deal huge damage in single hits to prevent them healing it all back up. Also I found when I was against the fire moth, using meditate did heal me, but the text said I healed him! Nice game, nice graphics. Well done!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-20T19:07:27Z

@geryon-games thanks for the feedback! Definitely agree with the slow numbers. I did plan on adding a skip to that part but ran out of time. Something I could patch into a future build though!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-20T19:53:06Z

@theseusinabottle I agree, the skills need a lot more balancing, and one of them even makes you too OP.. which I of course discovered after submission (tis the game jam way). Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-21T14:30:14Z

@oshawatt123 thanks for the feedback! I agree it needs to be balanced a bit more. I have a few tweaks in mind so I'll playtest them at some point!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-21T19:27:41Z

@agentnick Thanks for your feedback! I agree, could do with some splats or something! *adds to the list of things to patch*

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-22T15:47:41Z

@digitom @cheesepencil @knason thank you!

@lex that's right the game is endless (until 3 patients die). However, you are completely right, the game's difficulty does need adjusting

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-23T20:13:07Z

@tygrak @baylej @benbonk thanks! @joemag Thanks for the feedback! I agree, I think I need to make something appear when it goes off cooldown. The stats need a complete rebalance to be honest so I'll also figure out a way to make it more clear too. Glad you enjoyed it!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-04-29T17:11:52Z

@ulcius @payne325 @happy-fish-gaming-co Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :) @mcreamer6 Thanks for the feedback! I agree, definitely needs some more visual feedback. I'll make a note of this!

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-05-09T17:53:13Z

@marcmagus thank you very much for playing! It was quite informative @robert-li @bearding8 thanks for the feedback! I agree that the animations need at least a skip button or something. As for the pimple spawning, I did create a circle for them to spawn in but my maths must have been a little off, because sometimes they even spawn midair! Will have to tweak this

DR U's Magic Medicine by Adam Clayden 2020-05-10T17:54:20Z

@gameovermexico @jimjarofthedice @joaog @alexander-wayne Thanks for playing! @fabula-rasa Thanks for your feedback! I agree completely. I feel if I had submitted this as a Jam game I could have spent half a day balancing the late game. It's definitely something I'll fix and polish up post jam

@gustavo-christino Thanks for the feedback, it was very detailed! The pimples have a slight jitter when you click them to show they're interactable, but this quickly goes away once you purchase more pimple popping power. So I'll need to think about how best to give more visual feedback. A bar could be an option, or even a colour change with some squirting effects? As for the art, I can't draw very well at all :D but I'll take the feedback and see what i can do!

Tomb Of Ice by Vectrex28 2020-04-21T10:36:30Z

Great game! Really impressive that it's made for the NES. I liked the particle effects and the classic NES style difficulty. It took my a while to figure out what the NES controls were on my keyboard, so maybe including that on your page would clear a lot of things up. I also think you shouldn't be able to lose lives at the starting area, just let the player mess around with no penalty, and then kick things off. Still, pretty cool game!

Hungy Hungy Dwagons by cheesepencil 2020-04-22T16:10:13Z

This game is very good. The gameplay is simple and fun, when the dragons die those soldiers really go at it XD I think if you had some sort of indicator of score or how much meat I let through, that would be good. I noticed that the dragons liked eating it, but I didn't have any indication of whether that was a good thing. It did make me thing of different angles to aim the fire though, and I suppose with a score it becomes a question of, "do I want to just fire in a straight line, destroying the meat, or aim differently?"

The graphics are interesting. On the one hand, it has the weird bump mapped textures that have all their lighting a bit off, but on the other hand, I really liked the dragon and everything else, especially how it moved. It reminded me of those old flash ads you used to see on websites. It also reminded me of some incredibly old 90s shows (Through the Dragon's Eye anyone?).

Good job on this! Was really fun!

The Pacifist by AlexFSmirnov 2020-05-09T18:06:59Z

Nice concept but it needs more visual feedback and a sense of disappointment/punishment (?) when you use lethal weapons. Interesting that you don't want to kill zombies though. The theme could be reskinned to something else. Perhaps you could take the Batman style approach of using non-lethal methods to knock out thugs or something? Regardless, was a cool concept so good job!

Keep Floating by JoaoG 2020-05-10T17:35:21Z

Nice game but I felt a bit confused with the colliding with people part when you lose a life. Wasn't quite sure what the purpose of that was and it also had a very random number to pass it. I had to get 27 people to turn back into a balloon which seems odd. Gameplay is solid but could do with some extra visual feedback or sound effects. Nice animations and transitions, was quite fun!

Program has stopped working by Alexander Wayne 2020-05-10T15:30:04Z

Nice game but pretty difficult. I liked the RAM upgrade though. Was cool to shoot two waves of bullets at once and was a much needed upgrade. The trojan horse was really tanky and I think some visual feedback on the enemies getting hit would be useful. The mouse aim direction would have been better the other way around too.

Game was fun! Just needs some tweaking here and there

hoarde. by Geryon Games 2020-04-20T19:42:43Z

Nice game! I like the graphics and the squeezing of the character. Quite cool mechanics as well using the enemies against them! The audio reminded me of the NES or an old arcade game

Examine, Prescribe, Heal! by Antraxxx 2020-04-21T17:35:00Z

Fairly interesting game that makes you think! At least at first anyway. Once you learn the patterns it becomes easier, which I guess is the point. Maybe some more visual feedback on current events, so when patients are going into the hospital, frequency of them etc. Right now they just appear without much indication of when, so the game feels slightly unresponsive when you're sitting around waiting for a bed to fill. Other than that, I liked it!

Pirabbit by TimeTravelHamster 2020-04-20T20:22:01Z

Nice game! The white shadowy effect when the rabbit falls is really cool and in general the game has a nice amount of polish. The only thing I'd recommend is introduce some of the game's features earlier. It took quite a while to get the birds and big carrots and I reckon if you introduced them a bit earlier on it'd be more gripping.

I did like the large carrot though when it appeared. Was like a rare item or something. Good job!

Save the King by MrBamboo 2020-05-11T23:48:25Z

That blue wavy stuff in the background was really cool. Quite liked the idea behind the game but didn't completely understand how to play at first. Would be good if there was a tutorial or something. Good job!

The King's Gun Guy by Leonardo Fraga 2020-05-10T15:39:37Z

Nice game! The image of the king laying naked was pretty funny, and I liked that each weapon had a purpose. Although I felt myself using the laser 90% of the time and the odd freeze ability. Artwork is really nice but could do with some extra visual feedback on hit etc. All in all good job!

The Puzzle Of The Fantastic Fungus by Jahwffrey 2020-05-09T18:55:19Z

Quite interesting and pretty technical. It's one of those games that takes a while to fully understand how the fungus reacts to each effect, but it's quite fun to see it spread everywhere. I especially like the fire burning everything

Windy The Indie by Douwe_Ravers 2020-04-20T21:47:50Z

Pretty solid game and very fun. At the start I had no idea what I was doing, but it just took a while before the enemies spawned. I think it'd be useful if you had a countdown timer or something just to show that the game is responding. I like the limited arrows, really shows that if you spam, then you're just spending money on that rather than upgrades. Nice job!

The Flame Within by FadrikAlexander 2020-04-21T17:31:07Z

Pretty good game and I like the interpretation of the theme. Certainly unique! The footstep sound was quite cool and overall I enjoyed all the different options

The Last Guardian by civmaniac 2020-05-10T17:39:18Z

I really liked this game. I felt like there could have been some extra visual feedback on the cloud summoning. Perhaps a bar filling up or something similar. Gameplay was fun and I liked the management between summoning a cactus and keeping the tree alive. Good job!

Keep Vlad Alive by zimny11 2020-04-20T18:51:27Z

Nice graphics, but I couldn't really feel myself progressing. I enjoyed planting crops and growing them, but it was hard getting the balance right as the blood gauge didn't seem to increase by much. I think if you work on balancing that, it has some good potential!

Guardian Duty by robotabc773 2020-05-10T17:29:16Z

Nice game! Lots of cool effects but my only grip is the movement speed. It's quite difficult to navigate from one side of the cart to the other and I lost a lot of health because of it. If there's a way to balance that then it'd be pretty solid. Good job overall!

Little Red Riding Hood And The Good Spirit Of The Woods by Nogam 2020-04-21T17:58:26Z

Great audio and graphics. Really nice atmosphere and lighting effects. Attention to detail with the wind on the grass and other nice little things made the game look/feel great. The gameplay is so-so as it was a little hard to hit the enemies, and at one point a ton of enemies spawned and I found myself trying to defeat them all, but Red Riding Hood and walked off so it took ages to catch up, only for her to die before I reached her. So some balancing needs to be done there, but really good job on this game!

Cold Front by chrismcco 2020-04-21T17:43:49Z

Pretty fun game! The AI is a bit dumb though but all the game's swipey transitions are nice

Medic! Keep'em Alive by Robert Li 2020-05-09T17:55:59Z

Audio and graphics are pretty cool! I felt that the bullets were a little too difficult to predict and also quite hard to see. But I liked the concept of running into battle and saving soldiers. Good job!

Saving Elly! by koljam 2020-04-21T14:49:07Z

Nice game. I liked the baby sound effects, it was a nice touch. I didn't really know you could destroy the spawn points until a while into the game, so making that more clear would be beneficial. I still managed to complete it though!

Prometheus by Eugenik 2020-05-09T18:51:08Z

Game looks cool but it felt like nothing was happening. I was just running for ages and then I met a few people and that was it. After the first game I tried running around to see if anything was chasing me or if I stood still to let the fire go out but for me there wasn't enough visual or player feedback.

Visuals are nice though and I liked the rain sound

Yellow Flower by codekiw 2020-04-21T20:19:43Z

Quite fun! I liked the animation of the player and it was interesting to use both WASD and the arrow keys. Can't remember the last time I played a game with that sort of control scheme, and it works nicely. Much more accurate than mouse aiming which can get clunky if not balanced correctly. But at the same time, arrow keys restricts you to 4 directions only All in all good job!

Planets wars by raguel 2020-04-21T18:12:21Z

Really fun game where the punishment for dying feels fair. Audio and gameplay was nice and I liked the line that guides the player to the enemy planet. You can't aim when you die but can still shoot out of the planet which is a little odd. I think disable that completely to let the player really feel the effects of dying.

Le LÉGUME by OhMyGuigui 2020-04-20T18:47:18Z

Nice looking game! Audio and graphics are really nice and the gameplay was quite innovative. Always funny to see an aubergine cough. Took a while to get the hang of the controls though, if you could work on a proper tutorial then this game would be even better

Bacteria Attack by Nikos1304 2020-04-21T19:21:14Z

Nice unique game. It took me a while to figure out what to do but I got there in the end. Originally I thought it was mainly colour based and had to wait for them to collide, but I realised that I should have paid attention to the combinations and then mouse click the enemies. It's quite a cool game once you get into it! If you could make a short tutorial then it would be even better

It's Just Human by MomoLala23 2020-04-21T10:16:23Z

Great cookie clicker style game. I had a hard time keeping the brain balanced but it was very fun and everything was introduced gradually. Loved the voice acting and lines, was quite entertaining. Good job!

Fantastic game! Really liked the atmosphere and the game as a whole as events unfold. It got pretty hard and intense towards the end but was still very enjoyable. My only recommendation is to give some visual feedback once the valve can't be turned anymore. At the start of the game I tried to use it and thought perhaps it was broken. So adding a sound effect or something to indicate that it's stuck or something would be good.

Good job with this game!

Helicopter Parenting (HTML5 + Windows) by Digitom 2020-04-22T16:47:13Z

It was fun to kill the baby and overall the mechanic was quite interesting. I liked placing a bunch of objects down and whilst boxing the baby in until I thought I was ready. The helicopter dying was really annoying though. Sometimes the blades just clipped a box and that was enough to die. Dying doesn't really bother me because I can just box the baby in. If there was a some sort of punishment for dying then I can see it working, but if not I'd just disable that really.

You got a null reference exception for something but I have no idea what.

All in all the game was fun!

Fire Lighter by Oshawatt123 2020-04-21T09:54:14Z

Cool game! I feel like the game would be better if you could either move faster or at least dash for a bit. I wasn't sure if you could prevent the firefighters either? The fire spreading was really cool and the lighting is really nice too. Overall the gameplay is decent, good job!

Catch The Mouse keep it alive by GameOverMexico 2020-05-09T23:30:50Z

Your game is pretty fun but also pretty damn difficult XD At first I thought I was getting shot at but then realised even the clouds were against me! I really liked the menu animation and gameplay in general but I think some balancing could be done here and there with the level design. Overall though, good job!

The 24th Century Surgeon by DeSpiciestBoi 2020-04-20T22:12:20Z

Very cool game and quite innovative! It took me a while to realise that I could drop the clipboard to reveal the regneration pods underneath. For a while I was just dumping them all on the table instead. The game makes you think and it's cool to remove different body parts (especially the skull, I chuckled at the thought of a face just flapping around without one). Good job!

Terraforming Mars by AronMS 2020-04-22T20:35:03Z

I like the idea of going to collect a resource before bringing it back to grow the plant. There was no immediate danger of the plant dying though, which I feel could have been a nice touch. In addition to that, having the spiders move around or some other factor that could disrupt the player would have been a decent feature.

The jump feels very floaty, so adding some weight to the character would be beneficial, as well as the ability to fall faster by holding S or the down arrow key.

Nice idea! Hope to see more games from you!

Power On Home by Defiant Genesis 2020-04-21T19:26:56Z

Pretty interesting game and the audio helped a lot with the mood. I only really grasped the game after reading the how to play so if there was a tutorial or something in-game to help me then that would be much better. Still, it's pretty cool so well done!

Mama Mia Turreta-Alessandro's Challenge by BoarGames 2020-05-11T23:22:30Z

Not a bad take on a tower defence style game. Once I figured out the mouse controls it showed some promise, so I think some work on a tutorial or some way to help teach the player the game would be good. Nice work!
